  • How many times did he say i mean???

  • Hey Rob,

I'm really happy for you and Ima let you finish, but, Tom Felton has the BEST American accent of all time. ALL TIME

  • @abbstr12 your wrong kk bye

  • I mean...

  • lol his accent is going in and out haha

  • love his accent. whatever it is be it British or American

  • it's kinda nice to switch between both whenever he wants

  • He's even boring in his interviews....**yawn**

  • Um.. he sounds pretty english to me. Except when he says "twilight moms".

    Don't lose your accent Rob.

  • Rob is a pommy but he's been in America so long filming twilight and other things he HAS to speak american. Because Edward doesn't speak British

  • he's slipping in and out of the different accents

  • He fades into american and then back to british

  • I love Rob and Twilight. I'm not a big fan of HP, but I'm not gonna go videos about HP and hate on it... unlike some people

  • He totally lost his British accent...I like him better when he had a British accent

  • What are you talking about he was prob on a set or somthing so he had to keep the american accent on or whatever but he still has his English accent he prob speaks like that to make it easier for americans to understand him since so many say they cant understand us when we talk in our normal accent.

  • @yomanee1812

    Chill, that's highly stereotypical.

  • Harry Potter is about friendship and teamwork. Twilight is about the choice between bestiality and necrophilia .

  • @blooddkissedlips Havent heard that one before..lol

  • @blooddkissedlips This comment made me laugh out loud in a meeting at work!

  • wow hes good at speaking american

  • @runbabyrun201 I hate math...but this is awesome

  • I'm bitter about Twilight because they keep winning shit over the highly superior HARRY POTTER! Sorry, i yelled.

  • No, your just wrong.

  • Harry potter Is so much better than twilight! I mean who falls in love in high school with a vampire and decide to spend their lives together?!

  • @MiningMines - And who turns out to be a real wizard or witch and goes to a special secret school for it? lol :P

  • @MiningMines

they both great, harry potter is a different fantasy and twilight is more love and war try the books if u dont like the films they both reallly GREAT!

P.S The Harry Potter 7 prem in london was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Top Comments state the Obvious

  • @yogmanee1812 owait, you were talking of Harry PotteY being a typing mistake?

  • @yogmanee1812 Alright. Who is your favorite Hip-Hop artist?

  • @yogmanee1812 No, it's just that you like JB and prefer Twilight over HP. Which, if my calculations are correct, make you a female between the ages of 9-13.

  • @yogmanee1812 Are you serious about Jonas Brothers under 'Music' in your channel?

  • AAAAHHHHHH HE SOUNDS SO AMERICAN!!!!!!!! =DDD LOL HES SO HOT

  • His speech is sliding in and out of the American accent because I do hear his regular british accent when he says certain things...

  • -pulls up boots- wow rob shite got deep eh? sounds like he's trying to convince himself about all he's saying.

  • Robert Pattinson is a hand-me-down from Harry Potter to Twilight!

  • uhm... lets just say he doesn't speak american very well

  • Oh gosh! Come on man, that was horrible! But I can say that as an American. I betcha 10 bucks that my British accent sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

  • That's not an American accent. Book. All of the O sounds are not American. Pehrsonal. Not even close.

  • he will always be cedric diggory!!!

  • I find him to be the best britian man to pull off and American accent.

  • @Lyn683 LOOOOOOOL !!!

have you EVER heared of HUGH LAURIE ??

    Dr.House ?

  • @Lyn683 Really? What about Hugh Laurie?

  • @pigeon014ninja I guess I was just thinking that at first. I didnt know he was british though..

  • He slips from accent to accent

  • The Twilight/Harry Potter debate is going to go on for years.

Harry Potter is obviously far superior, better acting, story, etc.

Robert Pattinson is still a solid actor, I think. Billy Burke is a great actor & the rest of the Cullens are pretty good too.

But Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner really ruin it for me. They're both pathetic at acting. I hate it when people compare Twilight & Harry Potter they're really two completely different things.

  • @TheBeckiibubbles LOVE YOU

  • Ehh, I really don't care for Twilight, it's a love story and I'm not into that. Simple.

  • haha, i find twilight stupid. its a bunch of dumb guy who fall in love with plain jane? doesnt ake sense. and what vampire sprakles? Gay much???

  • I feel for him with the fans thing. Twilight can be rightly criticized, the movie can be rightly criticized, but Rob Pattinson is a pretty solid actor and an alright guy.

  • accent or no accent he sounds so sexy lol

  • I don't know why they didn't let Robert Pattinson just be a English vampire, you can hear his natural accent all throughout the movie. It doesn't specify in the books that Edward is an American. Even in this interview, his accent is very prominent. But I know it's hard to fake an accent, so a good effort on his part.

  • @hundred4ever I can totally see your point. Carlisle's back story invloves coming from London so it wouldn't have been too hard to create some sort of reason for an English accent. But I'm glad they stuck to the book as much as possible, I guess Bella would've mentioned if he was Engilsh too but I do agree with you :)

  • @LuvRupertEvans Perhaps I am wrong about it specifying that he is from America. I just looked at the wikipedia and it said he was dying of the Spanish influenza in Chicago, Illinois. Assuming he was raised there, he would have to be an American. If he is American, I'm glad they didn't make him English. Lol. The fans would have definitely been upset about that.

  • Nose-less dude > sparkly vampires

  • @smile4eva360

    wtf they are totally different.

  • @HannahBurke123 hey dumbass, He was in both movies. therefore, Harry Pottey > Twilight.

  • Woah man didn't Voldemort kill you already??

  • im sorry mister pattinson, but does twilight have 8 movies? how about 7 books? a musical? an underground music industry? a museum exhibit? A THEME PARK?

now tell me once more, who has the most obsessed fans?

  • @LOLbroadcasts Okay, I LOVE HP, but in all fairness, there are only 4 Twilight books, so no there couldn't be 8 movies. The reason HP has more books because the story is set up that way &Twilight isn't. Also, HP is further along in it's "run" if you will than Twilight. HP's movies have been out for 11 years now, Twilight 3. Twilight could never have a theme park because of its subject matter, not for lack of fans. What would the rides be, the Edward Cullen expierence? And Tw does have exhibits.

  • eh did he just say i guess there are fans of harry potter aswell?? well he obviously doesnt know that harry potter is the most successful film franchise in history!!! :O

  • goddd damnit hes so fuckin hottt. its his awkwardness i lovee<333

  • The story of Twlight is "just so intimate"? HOW? We don't know ANYTHING about the characters! They're HOLLOW.

  • Twilight fans are more obsessed then Harry Potter fans? Puh-lease. Have you even met the Harry Potter fans?

    FAIL.

  • @ColdplayBeatlesFan e only one i can think of that can act completely without his british accent

  • ha i think hes accent is getting all mixed up now!

  • his not talking in a american accent -_- wtf? is THAT hard to deduce that?

  • he begins with his american accent but slips into his normal one

  • (In the discussion about UK and America)

Just wanted to say that british actors and tv-shows are, even though they might not be that famous in America, still well known in the rest of europe. Of course, the majority of the shows aired on television in my country are american, but we can watch a lot of british shows to. And America is a continent, UK is just a few countries in a continent. It is a difference.

I must say that i like more British tv-shows than American ones.

    I am not British.

  • woohoo Oregon ;)

  • that´s not american accent fool.......it´s still british

  • it changes half way through

  • If he didn't do Twilight he would be cool.

  • I Likk him with hiz American accent by I lovee him with hiz British accent it'z sooo Hott

  • OMGOSH HEART MELTING!!!

  • @paramoreANDvampires tell me about it ;p

  • @BunnysiEat Woop! Woop!

  • lol he sucks at the american accent. its started out ok but then went down hill

  • @ColdplayBeatlesFan Yeah, hes probably been around the american accents for a long time.

because when i'm staying with my cousins which live in liverpool, my British accent slips slightly and turns kind of Liverpudlian.

  • Comment removed

  • i heard some british accents in this interview

  • Oh Cedric. What have you become?

  • is he dropping his British accent wow that sucks but it's still hott lol

  • cedric digory

  • I wonder how many people will see him as Cedric still, and not Edward. :(

  • @FMAfanFMA I dooooo :)

  • @sillymonster13 Ahh awesome! :)

  • he seems to be slipping between the two... "english" (im saying that for the sake of brevity) and "american" (again not stereotyping) seem to be merging!!! HOT :)

  • forgot SCRUBS!

  • i always wondered how he got to tlk english accent

  • UK is just a pond but USA is a freaking ocean!!!!

  • he looks soo hot here!!!!!!

  • @Morrisseyisdead why? its not that bad is it?

  • generally speaking, british entertainment is not that popular in america....we are not watching their movies or listening to their music.

america is also the most racially and ethnically diverse country in the world and even climate and landscapes vary greatly....from the flat plains, mountains, deserts, to tropical beaches

UK is really cold and it rains all the time, most brits are really pale with crooked teeth

  • @tagspin However ethnially diverse you may be, you still seem like a prejudice fuck who believes solely on some stereotype.

I doubt that you've been here because it does not rain all the time, we aren't all pale and we don't all have crooked teeth. You aren't making America look good. There are so many American stereotypes, yet i do not generalise. You aren't ALL obese, stupid, racist, homophobic, ignorant and religious nuts... It's just you.

  • @Taarable as far as pop culture, americans are the trendsetters and innovators. especially when it comes to teens/adults, these ppl are trying to be american, trying to talk, dress, sing and dance like americans.

just look at young ppl of UK today, they idolize american actors and musicians...american entertainers in UK are probably more popular than local UK entertainers

  • @tagspin You need to take America down of this pedestal that you have. Your country is corrupt, yes you are the centre of entertainment, but you are not as accepting and pleasant as you believe.

From what i've heard, you're American and you have probably never experienced life in England. We aren't anywhere near as celebrity obsessed as Americans, and i for one do not follow the Hollywood thing and am definately NOT trying to be an American. I couldn't care less.

  • @Taarable

@raziibabe yes ur absolutely correct, most american shows are popular in the uk and generally speaking most british shows are shit compared to american shows. THeres Fresh Prince, My wife and kids, Ugly Betty, Heroes, Lost, 90210, 8 Simple Rules, Desperate Houswives, Charmed, Big Bang Theory and so many more that are very popular here and so are the movies like Inception, Toy STory 3, Paranahs....etc. The only british ones are like harry potter...lol

    written by a british youtuber

  • america is the entertainment capital of the world and reaches a bigger audience than british entertainment. the most popular songs, music, movies and shows in UK is probably american. if you asked someone from UK to list their favorite celebrities, dont be suprised if most if the names theyll list are american musicians or actors.....but its different here in america, british actors have a hard time breaking in the american entertainment scene

  • @ColdplayBeatlesFan you can't have a British accent, Britain is not it's own island. It's just an english accent regardless.

  • Any of you ever been to Robert is Bothered .com? Now that's some funny shit.

  • @supaflytillidie420 yea it is funny

  • TWILIGHT SUCKS

  • he still has his english accent

  • it's filmed in Oregon? i thought it was filmed in Washington?

  • @EdwardQuid whilst americans are rubbish with english accents

  • Guys its either an english, scottish, welsh or irish accent not British they sound so different from one another!!!

On Rob's accent its english with a couple of twangs of americanisms at the beginning

  • That's people like, Bris with American accents

  • he looks like he needs to wash like realy sorry to say but he does and hes kind of ugly sometimes he can be cute but most of da time hes looking like a dead bird

  • omg hes good at that whole accent thing

  • @Morrisseyisdead America make'sEnglishmen into Movie Star's!!!!!

  • Every brit sounds like a brit when they speak with an American accent. They can never get it down. Some are good, though.

  • @ggrriissoomm in twilight he didn't have alittle bit of brit at all.

  • @krazykristen4never he did in the first one, I heard him slip up when he fixes Bella's truck. :P

  • @zero444 yup.

  • I love his british accent! It just so cute =D

  • I keep repeating the part where he says "Twilight moms". I love his British accent but whenever he speaks the American way it's just so damn sexy. He does accents well, I liked his attempt at a Spanish one as well..

  • it's so funny how in this clip, he started out speaking with an american accent then eventually goes back to his british accent :P

  • his accent goes in and out

  • he kinda goes back and forth between british and american. it's cute

  • TIGHTT TOPP X

  • lol Hes like Uh, Uh , Uhhhh like seriously listen closley and see how much he says uhh

  • NOOOOOOOO!! he has a london accent cuz he is from london!!!!! i think he got a cute accent

  • @pepelamour24

shouldnt it be every BITE of him. hahahahaha

  • @still2weirdfoU thats corny.but funny

  • he was prob too into characater or somthing to speak in his normal accent

  • American or English accent???? Who cares? Rob is gorgoeus whatever accent he uses!

  • i love this american accent on him

  • durh! its english obviously. how can ppl not tell? lol

  • The only part of this that is in an american accent is the words 'Harry Potter' - the rest of this is just his normal accent!

  • this isn't American... But his British isn't as strong as most of the Brits talk....

  • This really isn't his American accent..hahaha

  • OMG!! He's soooooo HOT!!! I would love to bite him all over!!!!!!

  • I think he's just talking normal lol my British accent is very strong, so people tell me. I can disinguise an american (for example) accent really easy like

  • he is so hot with his accent

  • very nice.

  • aye :P

    seriously though that's really true

  • he is gorgeous

  • "twilight moms" lol :)

  • now he sounds like he's irish. :) they sort of talk american-british accent and more stress with "R"

  • lol starts out in his american accent and it slips in the middle..... i could imagine very hard to keep the fake accent going..... o.o

  • hes just talking normally? english accent nd all..

  • Did he know he was doing that accent?

  • i dont think so?

  • duh

  • Thats not american accent

  • I think he's loosing his accent ..and tha's normal because you get used to talk and heartd people talking in an ''american accent'' and you get used..Is like my boyfriend he's from Argentina but he lives in pUERTO riCO AND he doesnt sound argentinian at all

  • he said Harry Potter, ' personal 'and 'really' with and british accent. sounds funny. hot, but funny

  • I've never read such twaddle! Of course there's an American accent... with lots of regional variations. There's also the same thing in GB. Rob says Moms because thats what US call them. Here, they'd be Mums, but he's speaking to US audience in totally British accent with no regional inflections. Rob went to a private school where diction is taught as being all important and so there is no trace of a London accent. He speaks 'Queens English', as linguists would like to put it.

  • he said moms cuz twilight moms is an actual club. he said "we call it twilight moms"

it's a group/website. he was just saying the group name correctly. so this is his british accent but being that he's been around american things for so long with tv/movies, and coming to america for filming.. he just grown accustomed. sometimes he does say mum, or bum, or arse.. but it goes on and off. not that big a deal. and obviously not that important to him.

  • This comment is for dosthepost, have you actually ever been to GB? I really don't think so because if you have, then you would know that it is also very multi-cultural, and not just made up of "Brits" like you stated.

  • Dosthepost.....you are offically the dumbest fuck....ever...seriously, I hope you remember what youve typed....and think back to it in 10 years time....and just get into the fetal position out of sheer embarassment, youve embarrassed your parents, anyone whos ever met you...and the human race. shocking.

  • : D

  • he says "i mean" a lot..lol

  • Enter the Twilight New Moon Giveaway on the website TVonPrint

  • There is no such thing as an 'american' accent.

  • haha yes there is

  • No there isn't. There is no official language in America. We are a 'melting pot'. We don't have an official 'accent' or language. Americans have different accents... There is no American accent.

  • That doesn't matter. There is such thing as an American accent. While english is not our official language it is still the major language in the U.S. We most certainly have different dialects and sub accents, but so do Brits. But that doesn't stop you from saying there's such thing as a British accent.

  • The amount of types of people is a non-sequitur. It doesn't matter. Any language that we speak will sound different from the way they speak those languages in other countries. Even if we have tons of different types of people here, that doesn't mean we don't have a general majority speaking a certain way. The very fact that, in general, we speak ANY LANGUAGE with relative consistency that is unique to our country is by definition an accent.

  • Cultural diversity does not effect the existence of a generalized accent that is unique to a particular nation. That you think there is only one kind of "BRITS!" in GB is just a testament to your ignorance.

  • so r u saying that people born in american aren't american??? i mean the reason they are brits is cuz they are from the country. same with america. that's the point of america. america is made of different races because we stand for freedom to come here and prosper within any race. open a history book once in a while plus... brits isn't a race. there's more than once race in GB... and whether american or british. it's how we classify the way someone's voice sounds.

  • I couldnt have said it better myself!!!

  • haha thank you!

  • you can have a mexican accent or a indian accent and still be from america or britain or anywhere else. it just means that the sound of your voice is classified with a certain region of the world. like those people you see on 90210 or Lost or w/e that's american accent. and within american accents there's subfields: valley girl, southern, new york, brooklyn, new jersey, etc. those are all american accents. please don't tell me New York accent isn't one because there's a bunch of races in NY.

  • haha woww okay crazy.. whatever you think
