  • Hey Byron its Marks nephew. Good job man. You'll have to share your secrets with me sometime.

  • @SuperPurpledragon Hey Man! I've heard a lot of good things about you! As far as secrets go, there really are no secrets! Just get a metronome, listen to the music, slow it down, and practice at least an hour a day. Oh, and BE PATIENT. By the way, I heard you like Mark's new guitar!

  • @rzr77 yeah its pretty sweet i just wish i could afford one. haha. I got marks old 5150 stack. the head got stolen had to get the newest version of it. insurance covered it. haha

  • im not saying your not playing it or anything but I sense that you speeded up the video. So why dont you upload another one accept this time put a clock or something in the back round.

  • @guitarjock13 I didn't speed up the video. I'm playing at 184 bpm with my metronome through the headphones. If you listen closely, you can hear it a couple times. Also, if I had sped it up, then the pitch would be different. Thanks for commenting, though.

  • @rzr77 alright bro ill take your word for it. Nice work

  • YEAH , YOU ROCK.

Your Guitar have a nice sound

  • absolutley BEAST

  • superb!

  • Why is it that the best always get the least views?

  • How is it physically possible that your guitar and your hands DIDN'T BURST INTO FLAMES? Well done!! Well done indeed!! How long have you been playing?

  • LOL!

  • Very well put!

  • where can i find tabs?

  • Check out Troy Stetina's "Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar." My way of playing is very close to that. Take care, and thanks for commenting!

  • i wanna learn that

  • oh okay im just wondering =D

  • Hey do you use thin picks or medium?

  • I use Dunlop Jazz III's, both the red and black nylon ones.

  • REALLY?!?!

i use those picks!!! those suckers are COOL!

i was amazed at first because they're small, but have incredibly good handling

  • i have the whole thing tabbed out in a Guitar World magazine, its the Jimi Hendrix one that has Voodoo Child (or Chile) tabbed out in it, September 08 issue i think

  • Ur a beast. :D

  • little bit sloppy but overall awesome job

  • Great looking V-did you custom order it or was it off the shelf?

  • Thank you very much. This one was entirely custom. Any time you order a new McNaught guitar, you get to pick every single detail, so they're really all custom unless you stumble upon one in a store or on eBay.

I can send you a link to much better photos of it if you're interested.

  • Totally Awesome to say the least B....Keep Rockin

  • Hey DrGit! Thanks for posting. Good to see you here finally! Keep posting the great vids yourself, and keep spreading the word about McNaught!

  • how long to study the scale?

  • I'm not sure what you mean, Man. I've been familiar with the chromatic scale for some time now, but it took me months to learn this piece up to speed, if that's what you mean.

    Peace,

    RAZOR777

  • You're right! That book is EXCELLENT, and I recommend it to any and every guitar player. This is based very heavily on that transcription. . .there are a few note substitutions I did and a few different fingerings, but that transcription is great.
