everyone has a differnet opinion about he "Best" version of this song. The reason there are diffferent bands and poeple cna cover other band's music is so that there are unique verisons, appealing to different people.
I love them do this better than Kiss. Gotta love the Britishness of how they do this song from their accents to the guitar and of course Argent's organ. But I have seen the Zombies do a better performance of this on another concert.
I talked to him after the gig, he admitted they didn't do the song very well. but we were pleased to hear it anyway, it's a small concert room, much like a pub. Better than Kiss anyway imho.
Oh good grief don't let Colin sing this stuff. He's versatile but keep it quality. Although I find much of Zombies quite spiritual, this just doesn't match the tone of their other music.
Well, this isn't really Zombies material. It's from Argent, and their style of music was totally different. Russ Ballard was the singer of the Argent band.
Absolutely, I love it too. Only, we aren't used to hear Colin rock. Most of his solo songs are ballads. But I love it when he's singing rock and up tempo. He can do it. As for the O&O show: only 6 weeks to go from now. I am convinced we'll have a fabulous evening. Btw, I already bought tickets for the Yardbirds/Zombies in June. My god, am I becoming a groupie... at my age?
Colin can sing anything. He and Rod rocked the house down in Seattle with this as well as "Hold Your Head Up". Russ wrote these songs and he is THE MAN< but Colin really pulls it off nicely. Honest, dear.

KISS VERSION IS THE BEST

Their individual instrumental play is still terrific. It just sounds like they need a little more rehearsal and not everybody was in good voice.

Great video example of how to destroy a classic song! Sounds like my 3rd grade music class on day 1 of school!

If you want evidence that Blunstone can still cut it, check out the Dutch radio/TV version of Miracles.Magnificent.
