@espaikdx yeah i have, but it still takes a little longer.....so u render it, go to task manager, go to the tab that shows processes, and right click on the vegas one and set priority to high :)

This is fantastic. I have thrown money at the problem for ever. Buy more memory etc etc. Don't forget to open CFF as an administr. Right click on CFF and start as an admin. this will allow you to overwrite. Thank you.

@vincenteke95 when you start 'CFF Explorer', make sure you right click it and then click 'Run as administrator. watch the vid again carefully at the point where he clicks on CFF Explorer. hope this helps :)

I did have a few questions about Sony Vegas. Did you notice any more problems after you fixed this issue? Did it start slowing down again after a while or after doing a larger job? I'm planing on editing a full length movie and I really hope Vegas can handle a larger project. Do you think I'll be able to do this on SV or should I start learning how to use Premier instead? Someone enlighten me on this issue.

Every damn time I try to save a movie it just says that I must wait longer and longer.

First 1 second then 2 then 3 then 4 (it just keeps on and it doesn't render at all).

I waited one time for 2 hours and it had told me to wait for 11 days :/

Worked for me <3 If it says you cant overwrite make sure sony vegas isnt open while changing the settings in CFF. Then it should work.

Btw, its not anything to do with my system, i have 4gb of ram, about 700gb/1000gb left and the Phenom ii x 6 (Six Core Proccesor). So im guessing it must be something to do with plugins.

it jsut that u need more memory on your computer.

sony vegas would render and be going (not lagging) just fine, if u have minimum of 8gb of memory in your computer. they eat really alot of memory, cuz they're heavy programs. :)

i have only 3 gb, and i have therse rendering problems when i use alot of effects or 3d layers...

@T0iletTr00per basically, I ran it first as adminstartor and then I just did everything up to 1:25 where you tick the box for the program to save more than 2gb, BUT you know when the pop up box say "cannot overwrite"? You save it somewhere else ^^ Thats how I did mine, but you MUST save it in the same folder :) Then you restart your comp and etc etc (its in teh video)
