You're out of your mind. Scratching in the context of Hip Hop was invented by GrandWizzard Theodore. Hip Hop culture didn't exist in 1972. The same goes with DJ Kool Herc in the context of a Hip Hop DJ. There were none before him. Theodore also invented the needle drop. Get your facts right, sir.
