  • white people age too fast

  • Dear youtube community, I don't want 200 people liking my comments but if you can do me this huge favor that would be great.Whenever you come across any fair and lovely ads plz use the dislike button and try to flag it too. It's about time we move past the post collonial curse where dark skinned people are still considered ugly and inferior.its the 21st century for GOD's sake.

  • whats the girls name???

  • @88afsana Vipasha Agarwal

  • If your not fair your not lovely how stupid

  • the idiots that like this shall inured the long lasting effects of harmful peroxides and chemicals in these in these creams. have fun losers who want to be white !!

  • Fuck India, racist monkeys! they are looking like albino monkeys with light skin!

  • @mukaikof it's not exactly racism, idiot! It's deeply embedded in the culture and this kinda shit is found in other countries and cultures too. You're clearly the racist! who the fuck are you calling monkeys? stupid bitch

  • @kitkatattack63 well indians do look like monkeys, these 3rd world animals. and no country is as obsessed with white/fair skin like the indians. india are the biggest hypocrites and most racist people. indians even look uglier with lighter/fairer skin. with light skin, indians look like wannabe mexicans. and indians are so stupid that they are still brainwashed by the british and they follow lowclass american mentality of preferring white/lighter skin. indian=monkeys! ;-)

  • @mukaikof I have no intentions of arguing with you...Cuz racists like you don't change with mere words, truth or logic anyway. So, continue being an arrogant, ignorant loser :)

  • @kitkatattack63 well hey dont worry about me, india has already proved to the world that they're the arrogant, ignorant, racist losers! india=self hating white wannabes!

  • @mukaikof you're generalizing a whole country. It just shows how stupid and ignorant you are. you're the world's BIGGEST hypocrite calling indians racists when YOU're the racits.. quite funny but you probably don't seen the irony. I'm done wasting my time. I have no time for your racist ramblings.

  • SCREW THE WHITENING CREAM! what conditionair does she use ? and where does she go to get her extensions!

  • Photographers don't need whitening creams, they use photoshop.

  • I use this cream to even out my skin tone from the sun. Marketing of this is not good, however this is the same thing as tanning.

  • @katris4040 its not the same tanning can actually be healthy as it brings vitamins in the skin. And it is part of nature.. bleeching is not natural and its very unhealthy for the skin. Everyone can use sunlight even dark skin should use it. And someone that loves their skin and how they look will just embrace it and not try to change it... because of what some parents ( older generations ) tell their childeren to do or how to look. The image that white is better is just wrong!

  • any woman or man can be good looking.with white skin or dark.in every country u will find beautiful ppl but the inner beauty is most imp

  • Indians(both men n woman ) are beautiful whether they bleach or not ...i find woman from South India hot..the N.Indians looks more Eurpoean which i see daily

  • She's gorgeous, who ever she is. Can't we all agree on that?

  • It's not bleaching, it's a sun block.

  • @BarriosGroupie it's both my dear

  • @dacluless No it doesn't bleach: "Our Fairness Products are based on Unilever's Patented Skin Lightening technology that comprises of a synergistic combination of Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) with UVA and UVB sunscreens which work together to protect the skin from darkening and gently, safely lightening the skin"

  • @BarriosGroupie Okay say it is. But it's still giving a very wrong message. A normal sunscreen commercial would talk about protecting your skin from skin cancer. But this one tells a viewer that you can't be successful unless you are light skinned. And THAT'S WHY they should use sunscreen, so they don't get dark and ugly. You have to agree this is morally wrong.

  • @dacluless1 I think what you're trying to say is that the labeling of the product is wrong, and I would agree with you. Calling it sun block would be ok, but it wouldn't have marketing appeal. And the local population are protected from skin cancer by their dark skin tone anyway.

Like all products, it's the population being manipulated into believing they need something which they don't'.

  • @BarriosGroupie agreed barrios.

  • take that tube stick is us your ass nasty indians white power we dont like you

  • she is gorgoues! is she half indian?

  • @elenavlada, she can be lovely without being "half."

  • @sandinyourshoes AM I ASKING THAT??.. NO!..GET A LIFE, KEEP YOUR THOUGHT TO YOUR ASS

  • You asked the question first, elenavlada. If you do not want people questioning your comments, then THINK first before writing. "Half Indian?" Wake up. What kind of a yo-yo question is that? It can imply that full Indian is inferior.

  • @sandinyourshoes " SHE CAN BE LOVELY WITHOUT BEING HALF"??? seriously does that answer my question??.. ur making up your own stories

  • @elenavlada, was that too hard to understand?

  • @sandinyourshoes ,wow, your seriously giving me reverse psychology... hahha, bitch, i asked if she is half indian? you answered " she can be lovely without being "half." DID THAT ANSWER MY QUESTION?. no... sory bitch, go die

  • @elenavlada, damn, it was just a video about bleaching... Fear not. The world is not coming to an end.

  • @sandinyourshoes RANDOM

  • @sandinyourshoes well indian women aren't as good looking as white women.

  • @BarriosGroupie, that is often how most will see it. How many Indian chicks are in modeling or movies that really get attention and big success? White chicks are the women of choice. Why else do so many girls around the world want to be blondes?

  • @sandinyourshoes Most dyed blondes used to be blonde in their youth. Anyway, most women are brunetter and like being brunette.

  • @BarriosGroupie, nevertheless, a brunette who is white is also in good company.

  • @elenavlada No she is full Indian.

  • @MrIndoCanadian OH, I JUST SAW HE IN A WEBSITE, SHE WAS HALF INDIAN HALF SWEDISH

  • @elenavlada Ya but full Indians are good looking too.

  • she looked better with the tan...just saying.

  • @frankliu532 she still has a tan, just lighter

  • this woman was beautiful with dark skin and still beautiful with fair skin , that just proves that fairness doesn't make a diffrence , it's doesn't make people more lovey

  • OMG I did believe this was a joke, What a freak!

  • All these Fair & Lovely commercials on YouTube make me feel mind-violated. Wth.

  • Would it be wrong to want a "Dark and Lovely" product? I think not. Therefore, wanting a "Fair and Lovely" product is fine, too. To each her own. People like to talk about "diversity," but only when it works in their favor.

  • @sandinyourshoes It is not wrong to want a "Dark and Lovely" product. The problem is that nobody would create such a product, because the majority of our society believes that "fair" is prettier than "dark". I think people see that there is diversity in society as far as skin color goes, and choose to elevate a certain group of people within that diversity.

  • @Suegirl3, those are good points, but in the end we cannot tell people how to feel, even if we think they support something wrong. I hear people talk about color and the shades of colors whenever I am at parties or other group events.

Darker-skinned men seek lighter-skinned women. It happens all the time. I bet it takes place all over the world, and India is probably no exception. If someone wants to be fair, it is her choice. If someone strongly prefers white, then it is his/her choice.

  • @sandinyourshoes I do agree that each individual has a right to choose what their preferences are. However, when we associate concepts such as beauty, intelligence, charm to one shade of skin color, and blatantly state that those qualities come with the acquisition of that skin color, I think we are sending a very damaging message to young girls and boys who are looking to establish their identity. These companies are not trying to establish equal appreciation for all kinds of individuals.

  • @Suegirl3, It seems that when white is chosen as the standard of beauty that there is suddenly a need to give rise to concern. However, it depends on where we are.

According to the late Alex Haley, a successful American writer, he had a ancestor who grew up in a culture in which being very black-skinned was considered to be highly attractive. This forebear, Kunta, once saw his mother bathing with a liquid soap to make her blacker. His father said it made women more beautiful to be blacker.

  • @sandinyourshoes I guess our argument will go on. I do know that different regions of the world have different ideals of "beauty" with some people paying money for tanning while others try out fairness products. However I still believe that it is wrong to make young women feel bad and guilty about the melanin concentration of their skin and have them try to change themselves to become prettier.

  • @Suegirl3, a lady will just have to decide that she does not have to pay any attention to someone else’s standards of beauty. It is all subjective, anyway. White is clearly the color of choice in the Western world. I would think that the Eastern cultures would support their own women. However, I still see the more Eurocentric standards of beauty creeping in all the time. This is why you would see blondes in Far-East Asian countries. However, to each her own. I don’t see that as a problem.

  • The closest thing to "Dark and Lovely" product is a fake tan :P I could see how going lighter in skin tone is more race related than going darker. Like a caucasian individual getting a fake tan to look like she/he spent a day at the beach, while a skin lightener tries to emulate a whole new skin color in general. The focus should be more on the overall health and clarity of our complexions than the color. Any skin color can be absolutely stunning as long as it's healthy and clear :)

  • @sandinyourshoes they already do with "bronzing" products which darken the skin

  • The model is stunning! I wish she wouldn't endorse such a stupid concept.

  • white supremacy has done it again..well job..i think we actually are going global..keep up the good work _ _

  • They sell this in Worldwide, the Asian store in Manchester :/ I want to set the displays on fire every time I walk by.

  • @VioletSpanxx Display on fire lol

Are u blind or is it hatred for Indians???

  • @FarisJames Are you psychotic? Why do I have 20-odd replies in my inbox? If you cannot see from my disdain for this product that I obviously think every shade of skin is lovely so there is no need for insecure asians/africans to lighten their skin, you should go see a psychologist! Can you please stop clogging up my inbox with your drivel? Thanks.

  • @VioletSpanxx So yes we non-negros aka ancient indians who can change their complexion with respect to sun exposure have evolved a lot while our sibling race from Africa: the Negros have tried their best.

So this ad basically says to put on yer best complexion to Indians. It would b racist to stop Indians from controlling their complexion as negros imply.

  • @VioletSpanxx Instead the study of 53 populations taken from the HapMap and CEPH data revealed that the population groups studied fell into just three genetic groups: NEGROS or "Africans",INDO-EUROPEANS or "Eurasians" (which includes natives of Europe and the Middle East, and Southwest Asians east to present-day Pakistan), and ORIENTALS or "East Asians", which includes natives of Asia, Japan, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Oceania.

  • @VioletSpanxx In June 2009, an analysis of genome-wide SNP data from the International HapMap Project (Phase II) and CEPH Human Genome Diversity Panel samples was published.[29] Those samples were taken from 1138 unrelated individuals.[29] Before this analysis, population geneticists expected to find dramatic differences among ethnic groups, with derived alleles shared among such groups but uncommon or nonexistent in other groups.

  • @VioletSpanxx There are 3 races of modern men now:

    1-Indo-European,

    2-Oriental

    3-Negro

  • @VioletSpanxx All Indo-Europeans have similar behaviour, feelings, creativity, culture, etc.

If we view the humans in black and white, we can still make out an Indo-European.

  • @VioletSpanxx Eyes: Black, Brown, Grey, Blue, Green

  • @VioletSpanxx Hair: Straight/Curly & Black, Brown, Blonde, Red

  • @VioletSpanxx Although diverse, these are the similarities:

    Skeleton/Skull/face.

Skin: Ability to change their complexin with respect to exposure to the sun. Thus individuals do not have a fixed skin tone and they have a range of complexion: Dark Brown-Brown, Brown-Gold, Gold-Fair, Fair-White, White-Pinkish(blood vessels). Some individuals have greater RANGE: Dark Brown-Gold, Brown-Fair, Gold-White, etc.

  • @VioletSpanxx

The Indo-European race is the most DIVERSE of all races. This is because they are VERY ADAPTABLE.

  • @VioletSpanxx This new gene spread like fire westwards as the older Indian population was pushes towards the south. in the Iran-Europe border a new strain of r1a1a evolved - the European r1a1a gene.

Thus the Europeans came to being. The Indian population is the OLDEST r1a1a genetic population in the world. The race became the Indo-European race from Indians to Europeans related by Culture[Sanskrit, Swastika, Vedas, etc], history and blood.

  • @VioletSpanxx In 2009, several large studies of both old and new STR data, including Mirabal et al. (2009), Underhill et al. (2009), and Klyosov (2009) concluded that not only are there are two separate "poles of the expansion" with similar ages, but also that of these two poles, Asian R1a1a is apparently older than European R1a1a. The data is therefore said to be more consistent with Asian (India) origins for R1a1a.

  • @VioletSpanxx

Mutations were high in ancient Indians as they lived in different environment they further developed and conceive the R1a1a gene.

  • @VioletSpanxx This was life of ancient Indians in Africa. Then driven by curiosity they migrated across the world colonizing Asia, Americas, and Austrailia. In Asia, these ancient tribes split up into Modern Indians and Orientals, while in Americas and Polynesia the tribes stated together.

There is considerable similarities between a shaman/brahman. The Hindu Calendar and Mayan Calendar were remarkably alike. The swastika is the oldest symbol of man and found everywhere.

  • @VioletSpanxx These ancient Indians had skeleton/Skull, brain, behaviour, etc that was also different.

They invented the Swastika, Mantras based on bird songs and Tilak (blood of fallen enemies and predators collected and smeared on forehead as a warning) - the later was used as a warning to predators and rival tribes. The Swastika was used as lucky charm for hunt. These indians used to hunt and fight with tilaks smeared on the forehead chanting mantras for success and displaying swastikas.

  • @VioletSpanxx Non-negros like Indians and Chinese have African genes bcoz they lived in Africa with Negros. All African genes NOT = Negro genes.

The ancient indians were a group of straight/slant eyed people living in Africa who had the ability to change their complexion with respect the sun exposure while their SIBLING race: the negros didnot have this ability.

  • @VioletSpanxx There are Negros in America and the west who hate people different than them. Indians have the ability to change our skin complexion with respect to exposure to the sun. Hell, every indo-European has this ability. This pisses them off and they start spreading such hate against indians. Search for more vids on Negros racism. U will find many on Indian and whiteners. lol they don't know we naturally whiten or atleast cant/dont want to understand it.

    U shouldn't blindly follow west.

  • i wish all fair and lovely ads would be banned

  • Whiter=better looking

  • guys i need help im trying 2 find the fair and lovely ad which involves an artis drawing a woman's face.

  • racism in action

  • it jus sayin tht it protects from harmful effects of sun... wats wrong wd that?... dark spots uneven skin tone... dull look, all this jus doesnt look attractive n the model herself has a tan skin tone... its jus talkin abt sun screen.

  • EVERYBODY IS COMPLAINING ABOUT how indians are obsessed with fairness and dont embrace their natural colour- BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BILLIONS SPENT ON TANNING SPRAYS AND BRONZERS AND SUNBEDS in the western world TRYING TO GET BROWN IS ALSO NOT EMBRACING A NATURAL COLOUR !!!!

  • @imcrazydoicare It is not the same, I see your point but I doubt that whites are doing it from the standpoint of self hatred.

  • @imcrazydoicare It is not the same, I see your point but I doubt that whites are doing it from the standpoint of self hatred. I mean it would be different if they were tanning and committing racist acts against pale skinned people then you would have something. But the psychological effects of colonialism need to be recognized.

  • @StTigray1 true but it is not just india that is obsessed with pale skin, this view of beauty is spread throughout the whole of asia, and westernised well known companies, companies such as olay have produced a new fair radiance range which is sold in mainly eastern asia. this contributes greatly to such a decisive impression of beauty.

  • @imcrazydoicare I agree it is in Africa too of all places and used to be marketed to American Blacks until the 60's. This type of thinking is universal in most of the places that were colonialized. I actually think the Indian mindset has progressed better than the Eastern Asian mindset, it seems with East Asians that have bought into it lock stock and barrel.

  • @imcrazydoicare but the marketing is totally different. olay ads just promote fairness, but these fair and lovely ads promote a complete change in life success that comes with fairness. it's bullshit and it suggests that if you're dark, you suck. I haven't come across any other cosmetic companies with such base values.

  • The company that is putting on the "Campaign for True beauty" is also the company that owns this product. That is so wrong.

  • so disgusting...we Indians needs to start embracing our beautiful brown skin tones and stop using all these fairness creams...wake up my fellow desis!!! Brown is Beautiful!!!

  • @radiz07 She actually looks rather plain.

  • @iknowimreal you made a very salient observation. I have a question, do you think all this bad publicity about people with dark skin, causes self hate, as well as hatred betwixt the differing races of dark skinned people?

  • @StTigray1 not reallyyyyy......people just think that fair skin looks better.

  • @iknowimreal WOW That response was the glib response of someone who sits down and just excepts whatever status quo being offered to them. I do not mean to offend but from your other response I assumed that you were approaching this, from the viewpoint of someone who thinks above the fray. Please excuse me

  • @kashmirigreeneyes Dumbass what about Somalian and Sudanese muslims they are extremely dark and ulgy too stupid Muslim extremist.

  • @IndiaandCanada

Wow you are all over call black people the N word and monkeys, thank God you are white! Hate attracts hate and karma is the ultimate equalizer!!!! Pray to your God that you don't come back in another life as the very people you hate!

  • @IndiaandCanada How many Somalian and Sudanese muslims do you actually know? Your opinions are based on nothing but stereotypes. Congratulations for sounding completely ignorant.

  • pale people look good pale. brown people look good brown. i'm sick of self-hate.

  • @surgerryy I like that statement, it would be nice if we could all just appreciate the beauty of the differing races.

  • The model in real life (Vipasha) is actually very dark. These commercials are so fake and misleading.

  • Thats so funny. There are People who wants to get darker and doing something like tanning bed, and self tanning cream, and there are People with darker skin wanting to get white and using somehting like that.

Be happy with the skin you have, it´s part of you and as long as you don´t have pimples or other things on it, it´s pretty, doesn´t matter if dark or light. My two cents, but whatever...

  • I know this is awful because of what it's advertising...but the voice over made me giggle. "*Something in Hindi* active sun block" =P

  • Is it me or this girl slightly resembles jessica alba? no?

  • it's not sad it's normal every human want to be something else than himself.. soo white want to be brown, en brown people want to be a little bit whiter its not stupit or something it is normal

  • and i have noticed that white people can get away with anything and if other people do it then all of a sudden "good, kind white people" decide to lecture others. (the very people who plundered the middleeast, parts of asia and africa and conquered using CHINESE gunpowder and became rich from stealing other people's resources)

yeah, first adress that issue and the mass genocide and then lecture others.

    fucking annoying

  • i hate these non indian/ south asian people showing their sympathy and saying oh this ad is so sad and all that bullshit.

indian people do not need you to tell them that. you know what the companies who sell these items also happen to be white and from predominantly white countries. instead of saying how indians have inferiority complex and acting like saints, why don't you people file suits against or protest/ boycott these companies.

oh while you are at it, also stop profiling people.

  • tanning is healthy you get your vitamin d

    its healthy in moderation

while bleaching isn't weather its for skin or acne or whatever

roasting your fucking pimples off is 100 times worse

  • Tanning is a healthy reaction to intense sunlight, but not good in climates where the light levels are low

  • i tan very easily coz im indainwell half indain hate geting tan it looks un even mean awhile white people are being raceist and they tan omg

  • safiagirl, worse still, they try to tan even though it looks terrible on them

  • How does trying to get a tan make white people racist?

  • How does trying to get a tan make white people racist?

  • @KurtCocain1111

tanning is not healty. it increases the likelyhood of getting cancer. skin cancer has also been on the rise because so many white people with their abundance of selfesteem so desire to tann.

i don't think indians need you to tell them what is wrong. they can pretty much see it themselves. and remeber the last a foreigner tried to "help" india, it went from an economic powerhouse to poverty stricken, divided nation.

  • Actually KurtCocain1111 is right.

It is scientifically proven that sun rays are good for the health of your skin; great source of Vitamin D.

However, it is only to be done early in the morning when the sun is still rising for not more than 10 mins.

You do, at all times need to apply a suntan lotion to protect yourself from harmful UVA/UVB rays, even in winters.

  • it depends on how dark your skin is. People with dark skin need as much sun as they can get without making things worse for themselves by making their skin darker

  • layakdog, face it, you're a racist peddling lies. India has always been divided and backward and it certainly wasn't the Brits that forced them to create Pakistan

  • @KurtCocain1111

before the british, india contributed nearly 20 percent to the world economy. so no sympathy or advice please. only the people themselves can and will adress this issue.

  • @ibaidwan

indians don't kiss white people's ass, they are after money. if you cannot see that will you probably don't have a job or are paid very much.

money is the motive and oh last time i checked "white" people are decreasing dramatically and need immigrants to help pay for all their retirement. and by the way white women are kissing black guys dicks, so i think you should check on your wife and or daughter, u never know.

  • lol so many ppl take offense to such ads. It's just a fukn trend in a country u'll probably never go to , comprende ese?

Just like in US, white people wana get a tan. Does that mean they wana be latino? NO. It just means they want a tan. Likewise, indians wana lose some of their tan.

  • chinese/japanese/east asians are definitely worse when it comes to skin lightening, its an obsession. In India its very diverse, some may be concerned with it and others not but increased media exposure to this crap is bound to have an impact

  • black people are just as good looking as white people. people shouldnt worry about lightning there skin if they want it to look good JUST MOUSTERISE

  • @leramay I agree. Black girls have really pretty features.

  • European girls are hot.Americans are hotter...

I agree but when it comes to Indian chicks,I bet

the hottest of all but very few compared with America nevertheless Indian girls are very beautiful for eg ,watch up above...

just white wont make beautiful but tan with good features really do and Indian girls are just hot

  • . . and you English people think that by putting on self-tanning cream, you will become hispanic!

    You = FAIL.

  • Let me add to that: in the US, tan=hotness/beauty etc. if you're white. Other races/ethnicities I can't speak for. All I know is, there are a lot of tanning salons here, with names like "Island Tan" etc. and to the person who said "only very few still tan," again, maybe it's that way in Europe. I see plenty of white girls over here go on "tanning lunches" where they go out to lunch and then to the tanning beds, it's become like a hobby/social activity for some.

  • It's funny isn't it?

No-one bats an eye when white people bake themselves on sunbeds and catch melanomas risking virtual SKIN CANCER for that 'healthy golden look'.

However, if it was so 'healthy' for white people to tan, then Mother Nature would have made them that golden colour from birth. So apparently, it can't be that good for you!

  • If you go to Japan and other Asian countries. . you will see oriental women walk around slapped in high spf with gloves upto their elbows and a PARASOL to protect their skin from the sun/tanning. Such is their paranoia of getting a tan.

Asian women think that you Americans are crazy ass freaks for roasting your skins and wanting to look a 'healthy golden brown'!

  • Ugg boots and fake tans orange skin lol

  • "First, noone tells European girls that they are ugly losers when they are not tanned."

In Europe, maybe. In the US tan=hotness/beauty etc., over here the guys always go for the really tan (or in some cases, orange) chicks. And believe me, I've heard comments. "She's too pale, she looks like a cadaver," "her skin looks like uncooked dough," etc. I don't do tanning beds but a lot of young girls go at least once a week, including in the winter...

  • Im white and I personally think this comercial is sending the wrong message. All skin colors are beautiful and its what makes everyone unique in this world because if not it would of been boring....

  • Yeah? And what do you think about million tanning saloons in European cities? Where is the outrage? Drop your black inferiority complexes, if anyone wants to be white then its his right and none can judge them.

  • I think having a tan in a tanning salon in my opinion is stupid, and I do have the right to judge them. They are trying to lie to everyone else.If someone wants to be white its because they hate their own race.

  • First, noone tells European girls that they are ugly losers when they are not tanned.

Second, Europe is extremely dark in winter, and it can be the longest part of the year in some countries. No sunlight causes depression and vitamin loss. Therefore people went tanning and thought it was good for their health. It was not about looks.

Third, now, since people learned that artificial tanning makes the skin age and might even cause cancer, there is a lot of outrage.

    Only very few still tan.

  • 'only very few still tan'???

    Where do you live?

You should stop by the UK some time.

  • Really!? I live in Germany and its true here is a lot of skin cancer and premature skin ageing awareness recently! Let's hope word will spread to UK girls too, lol :)

  • White skinned people are not discriminated against and in marriage and careers based upon their skin color. But dark skinned people are...

  • @skyeeeelance

I totaly agree, this commercial makes me puke!!

All those darker indian girls getting insecure by seeing this and thinking there dark skin is not beautifull. Brown skin is gorgous!!

  • @skyeeeelance, I do not see how being one color for all people would be a bore. We would probably fight even more about things like religion.

  • dude you can lighten or even out your skin tone naturally

    check out my video

  • wat... nicole kidman..... beautiful please!!!!... she's like sooo yuck...she's like a ghost...its like somebody put make-up powder or something on that white woman.... and halle berry ...hell no... ppl say she's beautiful to please the african-american ppl in the US ...thats all... the most beautiful are the latinas or ppl from india or the middle-east... now its known that white ppl wanna be tan.. and african-american ppl wanna be a shade liter.. wher does that leave u ppl??.. brown baby...

  • I agree with you Latinas are the hottest women lol, but Halle Berry is beautiful and I think she represents the African American community and they should be proud of her

  • gosh vipasha agarwal is gorgeousss

  • all skin colours are beautiful and your skin colour by itself is not an indicator of beauty.

I think that indians should learn to have some self-respect and love their own skin colour. I think dark skin is as beautiful as white skin.

Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman are dark and white respectively and yet both are beautiful women.

Fair and Lovely should learn from that and stop trying to encourage ppl to be unhappy with their skin colour.

People should honestly boycott these products.

  • Why are you telling Indians to have self-respect? You say that as if all Indians use or endorse these products... and moreover, these products are available all over Asia, not just India.

Anyway these ads are so stupid. They always use a light model and put some dark makeup on her/him in the beginning and in the end remove the makeup.

  • you guys may scowl fair and lovely because you are white, but you guys get tans now!

  • every color is beautiful,,,,its sick chicks that already white whitining themselvs too,,its not cute

  • um ok that must mean you're gay with a very small brain.

  • Is this only for Indian people?

  • dont be a jerk

  • Why? Because only white people date attractive people? You must've not seen many white people. I know tons of hideous white folk. And it's said to think that superficial people like you exist. You are what helps humanity progress at a slower pace.

  • yes i do. are u a goodlooking guy?

  • WOOOOOW!!!!!!!! this shit is so offensive im black and dark and i love it and so do the people i date, this is retarded its self hate on parade for the world to see

  • dont worry,

people in australia and canada all want dark skin so dont feel too bad

  • I sure as shit don't. I'm in Queensland; the "Sunshine" state.

  • I live in Victoria and don't either. I'm happy with my fair skin.

OMG I love QLD, going there on holiday in Summer!

  • Pack some sunscreen! Natio make a good one. Seriously the sun here is painful to us palies. Everytime I go in the sun even WITH sunscreen it hurts T-T

  • Yeah I know... we go to Queensland ALOT. Probably once or twice every year!

I get tanned when I go to Queensland but I put on sunscreen like, every hour!

Where abouts in QLD are you from?

  • U wanna get tanned right ? And u white ? i like the skin of lebanese gals ,brownish pale ,too white looks kind of ghost like.

  • no I don't wanna necisarily get tanned at all. yes i'm white, I'M FAIR.

I do get tanned in summer tho,

and thats discrimination to say "white looks kinda of ghost like". what if that person was born with very white skin?

THINK OF SNOW WHITE. and NICOLE KIDMAN, they both have very white skin and they are beautiful.

  • Fair enough !! But also on the other hand u got dark skin people line lenny kravitz, muhammad ali, will smith and everyone knows they are good lookin. But these days people like that tanned look.

  • yes and they are good lookin too.

and not all people like the "tanned look" these days... obviously people in Asia and Egypt and India don't.

Fair skin is slowly becoming the new fashion here too...

Have you seen models in magazines lately? they all have fair skin... and products for whiter skin are now slowly becoming available here..

dark skin and white skin are both great.

  • India IS in Asia lol

  • What are you guys talking about? She doesn't look AT ALL European - my Czech friend was telling me like 'yeah, suuuuuuuuure she does.' She is just beautiful - slim and svelte - and she doesn't have to look like a foreign to look good 'cos she looks good anyway.
