Everyone Shush. I own 2 Russian Dwarf hamsters. They love this cage and theres plenty of room, this cage is made for dwarfs, explaining the wheel size. There is plenty of Ventilation right up the tubes, and they wont mold so long as you clean them out properly. If you don't own this cage yourself you can't comment things likt this. This cage Is HUGE.

This isn't a palace, it's a plastic prison. Plus, the tubes are very dangerous for a hamster because they can't transport enough air and they can mold. And your hamster can be stucked and die.

The cage size for a hamster should at least be 100x40 cm.

i just bought the pink palace for my dwarf hamster my other has the space one and he got loads of space to run around in them it exercise for them to keep fit it is not abuse and if ya hamster did die in the tubes then it must of been over weight coz the tubes have lots of space in them! i no i had hamsters all my life and i rescue alot of them and not 1 of mine have died in tubes

Thanks for all your comments - for all those with concerns about Scritchit - she doesn't live in this, it is just for her to play in, she has a very large cage, a lovely snug bed, plenty of food and water and toys, a wheel appropriate to her size and is extremely friendly, happy and healthy and adored, she gets lots of 'free-running' playtime too in a safe and secure area. I know you all have her best interests at heart and I can assure you, so do I. :)
