343 industries might be working on a Halo 2 Anniversary Edition. The campaign would have remastered graphics, classic mode, 3D mode, and new stuff. And the multiplayer would rather be Halo 4's engine, Halo Reach's engine (same as halo ce anniversary) or hopefully a new engine made for this individual game. It would have 7 or more halo 2 maps.

Originally, Master Cheif was supposed to jump off the Cairo and land into the landing bay of a Covenant Flag Ship, which the player would then have proceeded to tear the ship apart from the inside, ending with a boss fight with a scrapped new Covenant lifeform. It was also supposed to properly introduce Miranda Keyes. This whole game is basically a shadow of what it was supposed to be due to mismanagmet.

And in Halo CE some of those research specimens were let loose. I doubt that the flood will be the enemy in halo 4-6 but its still a possibility. Only time will tell

I think Halo is the best video game franchise in history, but I know a lot of people disagree with me which is understandable because HR and H3 were far behind HCE and H2. But what I think everyone can agree on is that bungie created the best marketing campaign for each game.
