  • ho would dislike thomas

  • This episode has the best music ever. I'm dead serious. All the narrow gauge themes are somehow incorporated into this one.

  • @TheUnluckyTug02 It seems that of the S6 episodes had Season 5 music incorporated into them. This one had Rusty and the Boulder themes ( 0:51 to 1:36 ) The only other one I can list immediately is Scaredy Engines (Duncan Gets Spooked)

  • Narrators ranked:

    1. George Carlin

    2. Ringo Starr

    3. Alec Baldwin

    4. Michael Angelis

    5. Michael Brandon

It's rare, but Brandon does have his moments - his voices for Donald and Douglas in "Bad Day at Castle Loch" were actually pretty good.

  • Butch could have helped

  • I like the Nraoow Gruage engines' old shape in season 4. I hate the new shape. Pluse, SIr Handle wasn't on again till now. When will they bring Duke? I don't care who's the storyteller as long is not Bradon. To me it's always Ringo Starr and Geroge Carlin beacuse they're the best and Mr.C.

  • @BigAd19 it's said that duke would come in season 16 same with the others

  • Good episode. At 3:48, it looks like the tree hits the worker

  • It's a good episode.

  • Does anyone have the UK version of rusty saves the day?

  • Look in the related videos column on the right and it should be there.

  • If the first scene where Elizabeth was pulling the sycamore tree had continued, the workman would have got knocked over!

  • I absolutely hate Rusty's New model

    I prefer the smaller one

  • This is a list of my favourite narrators:

    1.Alec Baldwin

    2.Michael Brandon

    3.George Carlin

    4.Michael Angelis

    5.Ringo Starr

(If you don't get it,1 does not mean worst but best

that's how good the narrators are to me)

  • im not saying ringo starr is horrible, its just that i got carried away and ringo and angelis switch places.

  • My favourite narrators are:

    1.Ringo Starr

    2.Michael Angelis

3.The US narrators (Alec Baldwin, etc.)

sorry about just saying the US narrators it's just that i don't know the names of the other US narrators

  • At the start, he always says Rusty... Rusty... Rusty...

  • who?

    when?

  • The narrator. Like this

Rusty works on the narrow gauge railway.

    Rusty is really useful.

Rusty's friends are Rheneas and Skarloey.

Rusty helps out on the line.

    But this makes Rusty late.

  • This is a list of my favorite narrators:

    1.George Carlin

    2.Ringo Starr

    3.Alec Baldwin

    4.Michael Brandon

    5.Michael Angilas

  • The original uk narrators are the best such as ringo starr and michael angelis

  • Unfortunately, it's true that the UK narrators are better than the US ones. I think it has to do with the language. We don't call box cars box trucks. And why do you call trucks lorries? We don't call them that in the US.

  • It doesn't matter who narrates. The American narrators can do just as good a job as our British ones. The stories are the same, the charm is there, and it still appeals to kids & adults alike. I must admit it sounded strange the first few times I watched the episodes with American narrators, but that was merely because I grew up with UK versions and wasn't used to it.

  • I absolutly hate the new american narrotor! He sucks!

  • can i just mention i remember ttte from being a kid and watchig the origional series. they rocked ass cos they were soo realistic, i work on the railways now and i realised it was all real, godammit rev awdry realy knew what he was talking about. he was great western btw. the gwr rocks

  • yea

  • Nope American narrators are just as good as UK narrarators. But IMO,George Carlin is the best of all.

  • uk narrators r better as thomas came from uk u cant change that

  • Well, my 2 y/o daughter doesn't seem to care who narrates. It does strike me as odd however that whenever British kids shows are exported to the states, they get dubbed. In Britain, we don't tend to dub American shows. Is this indicative of some sort of cultural myopia, whereby Americans are simply unable to enjoy something unless it's regurgitated for them in a more familiar voice? Besides, the only way an American dub of TTTE could top Ringo Star would be to have Johnny Cash do it.

  • Ya I grew up on these and I think they're the best!

  • OMG, an american narrator :(

  • The other US narrators were better than this one (Alec Baldwin)

  • You're a jerk. American narrator's are just as good as, if not better than, UK narrators (although I admit this one of Baldwin's bad narrations).

  • so sir topham hatt wanted to close skarloey and rheneas'railway because of the lateness.pretty weird reason if you ask me.

  • i agree,Donald

  • Hmm, my problem was, in real life, he couldn't close a railway line just like that, even if he wanted to

  • good and original

  • He was going to close the railway just because of lateness? Pretty weird reason if you ask me.

  • No, because it was old and too ahrd too fix.
