So true, Bogota is a wonderful place. I have been there 3 times and soon a 4th. I would tell anyone thinking about going on a trip somewhere that they should go to Bogota. Forget all the crap people say about it and Colombia. Its all base on the past! I'm really proud of that Bogota and Colombia for changing their country around and dealing with those that do nothing good (farc drug traffickers and any other idiots) God bless Bogota and Colombia! Come see it everyone!

Thank you Jerome. I'm a colombian national living in the US. All I hear is how dangerous colombia is when you and I know it's not. I've been living here in the US many years. I've been back to colombia 2x and everytime I go, it seems to get more developed. I'm considering immigrating back to there to retire. BTW, where are you from originally.
Yeah man i live here in Florida and I want to go to Medellin and I heard it's dangerous....i think that's BS but how is Medellin? I am mixed but I look Dominican so am i guna be ok? LOL
The way you look has nothing to do with how safe you'll be in colombia. Medellin was a dangerous place to live during the terror of pablo escobar. It's not what the american media is making it out to be. I was back there 2 years ago and it was just fine.
