Make a massive TNT launcher.

Pepper the target TNT with Arrows.

TNT is launched into the air.

TNT explodes.

Arrows fuck shit up.

Obsidian IS destroyed by TNT. You just need A.LOT of it.

@Th4w not true. minecraft mechanics state that if one block of tnt cant destroy a block no amount will. it will just destroy more of destructible blocks.

I have tested it. Myself. It happens. I actually made a large "Tube" of obsidian and filled it with tnt. than I hit the last block of TNT and capped it off with another block of obsidian. It was supposed to act as a fuse. After I came back to see the results of my massive TNT destruction I found out that pieces of the tube were actually missing. I don't know if it was a glitch but it is a fact. It's there. TNT Destroys obsidian.

I'm not sure if it's a bug, I'm not sure if it was on purpose and I'm not sure if it's still there. But before the beta I think, I was making a shitload of stuff with TNT And one thing i liked to do is a fuse of tnt with a coating of obsidian (3x3 obsidian plate with TNT in the middle) and than a room of obsidian. When the explosion was over and I went out to check for damage I found holes in the coating of obsidian. It was still there. Just a lot of holes.

@Th4w I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but you could blast 1 block of obsidian with enough TNT to crash a super computer, and the obsidian would still be there in the end. It's just in the code. If 1 blast isn't enough to destroy a block, no amount of blasts will.

Remarkably easy and efficient to make, nice job.

All it requires is 2 TNT, some obsidian(trivial, if you've been to the nether), a single sand, and the desired number of arrows.

Even better, the arrows are reusable.

One thing I'm wondering though is whether or not making the arrows flamey has any actual combat effect.

Anyway, this would make a great hidden trap (especially with the magma) for an automated defense system.

every object in this game can be blown up.... most not as easy. take one tnt and put next to regular stone block it wont blow. take several and it will. obsidian will break but it will prob take a day of putting and blowing tnt

@TheJdog279 Yeh they do hurt things, but because of the games mechanics once things are hit they become invulnerable for a split second, this stops you doing damage twice when using a sword (once when it hits and once when it exits). So as such if you want to use it to kill something then you will have to make a couple next to each other and set them off 1 second apart or so
