I remember playing KH, and the cutscene where Xion attacks. It literally made me cry, thinking about what happened to her and what she's destined to do and become. The final boss of Xion has alot of feeling to it because *spoiler* It's in Traverse Town and your right next to the spot where you had ice-cream together.

This might've been pointed out already, but it bears repeating. Tetsuya Nomura has a really creative, yet odd way of setting up the story. Where to start? Oh yeah, the fact that, currently, Sora has three people, literally, in him -- Ventus, Xion & Roxas. My brain hasn't been this screwed over since Hideo Kojima did Metal Gear Solid 2. And it's still in rehab, mind you!

I was actually able to get Days a year afterwards. I watched the cutscenes online regardless of the fact that I hadn't finished the game. I got to Day 357.
After all the memories and all the time we spent together. This girl who i had once called my friend.... Now stood before me as my enemy,threatning my life. My instincts told me to survive, yet my heart told me to drop my weapon. Without hesitation she came at me, and my instincts took over.
What was I supposed to get ready for? After all this time befriending this girl who didn't even have a face at first... all the memories... the good times, the bad times, the battles in other worlds, the times eating ice cream together.... Was that all meaningless? What did it mean if it was all just destined to return to Sora? Worst of all... she's gone now... no one remembers her....
The title couldn't be more fitting; this song truly is a Vector to the Heavens. It shows perfectly the emotion of Roxas having to defeat his best friend in a battle with only one victor. By far my favorite piece from Kingdom Hearts.
The Kingdom Hearts Series re-mastered a lot of the first game! We got how many version of KH1 let's see. Chain of Memories, Re: COM, Re: Coded and now Dream Drop Distance is going to go back in time....AGAIN! The fuck I wanna go FORWARD not BACK!

Coded is king mickey going into the journal from the KH1 that was erased and only had the note of "Thank Naminee" and dream drop distance is riku and sora taking the mark of mastery exam after defeating Xemnas,,, Coded and 3Ds are moving forward toward the 3rd kingdom hearts
@rashizzles Square Enix could've done that without having to go back to Sora's first outfit and now in Dream Drop Distance he's back in the same outfit just modified and his hair is back to when he was 14. @rashizzles Well, Terra and Aqua have been training for years for that test, and properly taught by another keyblade master. Sora and Riku haven't had any formal training, just what they've picked up; it's a wonder that they're ready for the test at all. And they're young again I think because they need to undo the improper way they learned to use the keyblade or something like that :P

Master Xehanort is well-known for using people around him as disposable tools, never caring for their well-being or individuality. It seems this is definitely a trait he carried over to Xemnas, because the way they created and then used Xion certainly reflects this. No wonder she's yet another victim of Master Xehanort that Sora needs to save.
@speyeker I played them in chronological order and it made the already sad beginning of KH2 with Roxas even more sad. Other than that, it's kinda hard to play as Sora after playing Roxas because, while Roxas is a somewhat deeper character, Sora is just always so damn happy. I really don't recommend playing KH2 after 358. xD

Xion was a puppet who was killed by her best friend and is nothing more than a forgotten memory. Data-Sora went amnesiac. Sora's Heartless ... what did he go thru?

He sacrificed himself to save Kairi, and in the end, after everything had to leave her again. And now I am sad...

4.-Xion isn't ''dead'', she and Roxas are ''assimilated'' in Sora (sound creepy, I know, kinda like DBZ Cell), so they might come back, MIGHT, nothing sure.
5.- And damned fangirls and they AkuRoku, they might not be too crazy, because it's pracically canon that Axel beheaved thought 2 games like a child molester/mourning boyfriend that found how revive his dead BF, so its actually kinda of canon.
@BlackRanulf13 I doubt Xion will come back; regardless of the fact that she was manufactured like Riku, and she had a heart, she was a mere puppet. Think of it kind of like the theory of time traveling. In the space time continuum, there can't be 2 exact same people in the same time dimension or Universe, whatever you would call it. Xion was pretty much like that. She was a puppet that was destroyed. It's not a nobody, where it can gain it's heart back and become whole. She returned to Roxas.

When Sora was about 5 yrs. old Ventus's heart got shattered for the 2nd time, when that happened what was left of Ventus's heart found a place to heal in Sora's heart. Ten years later and Kairi's heart left her body creating her Nobody Namine. And it too went to Sora's heart. Then Sora released his own heart in order to free Kairi's heart creating his Nobody Roxas. Ventus's heart stayed with Sora's body giving Roxas his appearance.

It's just the events surrounding Sora stabbing himself with Ansem/riku's Keyblade are very confusing.
Roxas is Sora's Nobody. He's just a special Nobody. I don't think there's any confusion surrounding Sora stabbing himself with the Keyblade of People's Hearts. It's all been explained.

@0OO8 Personally, I believe that he didn't have a heart, he just was a higher class of Nobody than all the others. He was capable of displaying emotions on a basic level, but he still lacked a heart. I think you are right, and personally, I take the 'Saix' view on friendship between Nobodies.

A song that deserves credit to a character has grown much respect for. In the end, i can't really say that she wasn't a cool character, but without her, there most likely wouldnt have been any kh2 if i think about it. Besides, i think i can say that Roxas (fav character) has overall been able to understand the position that he's been put into and such. I just dont see why they would take his memory away in twilight town.

All trolling aside, I doubt they'll give Days that kind of treatment. CoM being remade for PS2 was more about bringing it into the third dimension than anything else. Days is obviously already in 3D, albeit DS 3D.
Hearing it in full orchestrated form, not hampered by the DS limitations, is a great spectacle to the ear.
Don't get me wrong, I like how good the MIDI's sounded on the DS's sound chip, but it really does sounds so much better in its intended orchestral form.
i couldn't get into the Midi version to much. To me it sounded like someone was always messing around with the volume, so i could only ever here half of the song. still, to each their own.

@BlackRanulf13 I doubt Xion will come back; regardless of the fact that she was manufactured like Riku, and she had a heart, she was a mere puppet. Think of it kind of like the theory of time traveling. In the space time continuum, there can't be 2 exact same people in the same time dimension or Universe, whatever you would call it. Xion was pretty much like that. She was a puppet that was destroyed. It's not a nobody, where it can gain it's heart back and become whole. She returned to Roxas.

1.- Xion isn't someone copy, she was created in basa of Kairi's Memories in Sora, which leads to the next point.
2.-Xion IS a mary sue, but because she IN-story was created as a mary sue, she is the personification of Sora's most precious person (Kairi) so its pretty logic that she were a mary sue, since Sora considers Kairi as the holiest thing in the world, despite any bad thing she could have, ( Damned girl, she is way to good for the world, don't?

When Sora was about 5 yrs. old Ventus's heart got shattered for the 2nd time, when that happened what was left of Ventus's heart found a place to heal in Sora's heart. Ten years later and Kairi's heart left her body creating her Nobody Namine. And it too went to Sora's heart. Then Sora released his own heart in order to free Kairi's heart creating his Nobody Roxas. Ventus's heart stayed with Sora's body giving Roxas his appearance.

Well, now that I think about it, Didn't Roxas go to Castle Oblivion once, right before once of his pass outs? well, if Ven's heart was reacting to Ven's body I guess you could pull that off. A song that deserves credit to a character has grown much respect for. In the end, i can't really say that she wasn't a cool character, but without her, there most likely wouldnt have been any kh2 if i think about it. Besides, i think i can say that Roxas (fav character) has overall been able to understand the position that he's been put into and such. I just dont see why they would take his memory away in twilight town.

All trolling aside, I doubt they'll give Days that kind of treatment. CoM being remade for PS2 was more about bringing it into the third dimension than anything else. Days is obviously already in 3D, albeit DS 3D.

I think the voice acting sounded just fine in Days. Granted there could be MORE voiced scenes on an Re: of Days, which would be nice.

Hearing it in full orchestrated form, not hampered by the DS limitations, is a great spectacle to the ear.
Don't get me wrong, I like how good the MIDI's sounded on the DS's sound chip, but it really does sounds so much better in its intended orchestral form.
