  • It looks too fresh to be from an abandoned bed, unless it happened recently.

  • coffee

  • Looks like dried out Coca Cola to me.

  • why not just go to the place itself, spray it with luminol and do a black-light test.

  • Yep, I recognized it immediately, betadine. THey used that stuff extensively...it's old school, they use something else now.

  • @adamp51 Nope, they still use betadine / iodine extensively.

  • Its betadine people, yes I talking about the bed.

  • guys, the title says ''bloody bed''... This means that the bed itself has been bleeding, so no wonder it looks nothing like human blood.

  • @WhutsWhat Funny :-)

  • I bet youd make a youtube vid if there was p*ss on the bed, & the yellowness is not Betadine. Get a life.

  • Blood turns black and gelatinous when it hardens whilst this is turning yellow, it's more than likely Betadine, Iodine or some other form of medicine.

  • not blood. blood turns black and crackly when it dries. this looks like rusty water leaked from the roof or something.

  • Somebody do a damn Luminal test and put this all to rest. The bottom line is this: Any blood in that amount would have resulted in a full investigation into the probable death of somebody. Second - the asylum has been closed long enough to assume that even had the asylum hid evidence the blood would be DRIED up by now - not fresh and pooled and wet.

If you step back and examine all of the facts logically this video kinda sucks!

  • wouldn't blood be a kind-of brownish color? and wouldn't they have washed it off/up?

  • its not blood, blood eve after many years of being dried up still contains its rustic red colour, this is most ikely a chemical or iodine, which can be used as an antiseptic, most likey something like that was being applied to someone perhaps to treat an injury and was dropped on the floor. seems a more logical explination

  • I vote "no" not human blood atleast anyway..looks morelike rust from a roof leak..

  • Rust.

  • most def NOT blood....

  • yes its most likely iodine blood wold be black

  • it is betadine cause when i had my ingrown toenail removed and thats what the doctor used on my toenail before it was that was operated on...

  • its not blood cause it splattered, unless it was in a jug

  • Maybe 2 losers were fucking all night and left that abandoned room bloody!!

  • if it were blood it would be black or dark brown.

  • Its Betadine, that stuff turns a sickly brownish yellow color when it ages.

  • DAMN IT!! I've been looking for that hairbrush!

  • probably a chemical that they had in storage like iodine. Notice around the bed there's little splash marks.that radiate from a center point. Someone probably dropped a glass bottle of the chemical there and is shattered. I doubt they would take that much blood from someone for a test. Those are my thoughts.

  • maybe....both?

  • I'm a blood splatter expert, Most likely a bottle or bag of betadine thrown from the door way in a downward direction towards the bed. The majority of the blood has pooled under the bed rail away from center impact also indicating thrown from door way in a more downward direction. The betadine splatter exceeds three square feet from center based on the one square foot floor tiles. also indicating thrown with some force. conclusion vandalism of a bag or bottle of betadine.

  • @WARFOX101 That's funny, as real blood and crime scene experts and techs don't say "splatter", they classify it as "spatter." In the words of you teenagers, FAIL!

  • @TheSoverigncitizen Splatter to better let you teenagers understand, lord knows spatter is over your heads.

  • @WARFOX101 So, you dumb down your "expert" opinions to teenagers?

  • @WARFOX101 I didn't know Dexter was real.

  • @WARFOX101 I totally agree with you. You did an amazing job of explaining. I have my degree in criminal forensic also. You just saved me from typing out the explanation. Thank you.

  • @WARFOX101 i can't believe i found dexter on youtube. how are you doin'?

  • @WARFOX101 Why does it look fresh?

  • @WARFOX101 Thats a very good analysis, can see where you are coming from. However after reading the story that this is from a bum stabbing the kid who went in here, where did that come from?

  • agreed...Betadine

  • what looks like blood in the bedroom could possibly be iodene

  • its iodine jesus were are u chernobyl?

  • If you seriously believe this is BLOOD, you're as crazy as the idiot who posted this saying it's blood! Definitely NOT blood.

  • Blood dries brown as Maturin01 said that's Betadine it dried yellow not brown

  • Obviously a suicide.

  • The clot obviously shoes that it is blood. Iodine wouldnt be used in a patients room, and it wouldn't clot.

  • wut is it with blood in asylums? .-.

  • ma napravo mi se dopovra6ta koito 6e a ma razbira (puke)

  • That looks more like an iodine stain

  • somebody is on thier period

  • if its iodine what do they use it for?

  • That was one big cup of tea and one clumsy-as-hell drinker...

  • I highly doubt it was a spill of any kind---not blood, not betadine, not iodine; it is most likely water leaking through the roof with rust in it.

  • Some more sanitary napkins please.

  • If it was blood, it would be stained brown, like shit.

  • blood also cracks and flakes when it dries, it does look like betadine or iodine.

  • Whats betadine?

  • Can't be blood. Blood would dry to a more brown-tinged color.

  • BETADINE !

  • I thought blood turned brown when oxidation....looks like iodine or something similar.

  • It was a restless sleeper with a heavy period.

  • @Vegheadsrock some cunt fell thro the ceiling

  • not blood. i have chronic nosebleeds and i know that blood does not go like this when left alone.

  • I say blood, hard telling what from. After a long period of time blood changes to a lighter more rust color from oxidation.Probably a suicide patient.

  • actually from the oxidation process when the blood sits so long it begins to turn yellow ish like iodine

  • Other. Betadine stains like that. Blood would be much darker.

  • eww, that CANT be real! erm, Is it? lol

  • That's iodine the If it was blood it would be darker and brown unless the place closed down 2 days before the picture was taken

  • Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.

  • @jaco0bx i dont think you or people with mental illness are crazy at all. illness does not make one crazy. im glad you have been able to find support, good for you!

  • @jaco0bx

    Cool story bro

  • ok I dont want to sound like a nerd but that splash pattern is not caused by a patient - most probably a stored blood pouch falling and rupturing on floor this is because the rupture is in sync with the bed's stand and the splash is radially starring outwards which means the liquid was heavily thrashed onto the floor due to gravity (probably) .. it cud also be an unborn fetus (Spell check ?? ) -- according to many here, who was manually pulled out and ditched on the floor.

  • kinda looks like iodine, but it's everywhere, on, under and around the bed.

  • I'm assuming that this is either Iodine, or Betadine.

  • i thought it may have been blood but some people think it's iodine. they are probably right.

  • It's me.... I needed to take a shit >.>

  • Probably iodine or betadine.

  • The leaky roof caused the metal inside the chrome bedframe to rust. The rust pooled with the water on the floor, and every time it rains the water splashes the rusty water around. You can see where it has dried, and the dripping water has washed away the rust on the floor. You can see a clear spot which lines up with the bed control arm. The water has run down the bed onto the arm, and has dripped off forming a clean spot directly beneath the left side of the arm.

  • i guess it was someone's time of the month

  • I'd say iodine because blood dries a dark red, not an orangey colour

  • @cainedkaty I was thinking the same thing.

  • looks like iodine or betadine

  • does look like some thing was dropped, and perhaps while removing a bloater?

  • Whoever did this scene, forgot to put "blood" on top the legs of the bed. You can only see blood underneath it.

  • isnt this the same hospital that ghost adventures visited and they were told of a patient that had a bed post put through his head by two other patients couldnt this be the bed. if im wrong then my bad just saying what i think

  • is this real plzzz tel us

  • It's Betadine, not blood. The stuff creates that yellow color in places when it dries.

  • looks more like water that mixed with some chemical, when my washing machine leaked into the downstairs bedroom of my house it made that color of water on the walls

  • its iodine

  • Okay!! who just PooP ???? 0.o

  • Whatever it is, it looks like it hit that floor at a considerable rate of speed, like a heavy container of liquid fell and broke on the floor. The distance of the splatter from the center of impact and the length of the droplets directed outward in all directions might be consistent with this. Look at the pic at 0:45.

  • Jam.

  • @SailorCybertron betadine turns yellow or clear when it drys so it isn't betadine

  • I say its blood I have seen dryed blood on both hard floors & on matresses this is blood

  • its ummmmmmmmm Fruit Punch

  • mhhhh ketshup :)

  • looks like iodine to me

  • iodine

  • It looks like blood at first, but take a closer look at the bed.. blood would be dripping, leaving a trail onto the floor, on the side of the bed. it looks splattered just on the floor and on top of the bed. I think some punk might of done this with iodime to make it seem like blood, no reason why it should really be there.

  • Yes. We all know that puting it to a vote is how you determine whether or not it's blood.

  • I vote yes

  • It looks like spilt coffee

  • I used to be an EMT, & this is NOT blood. It would have darkened & started flaking if it were. It does kinda look like someone dropped a bottle or industrial bag of iodine. It looks like it is mixed with something in the middle, maybe water. The dark dry spot on the bed is a possible suspect. It has the right look & quality. Great pics!

  • @alinder34 i agree with what you said. my roommate shot himself (he is still alive) and i had to replace the carpet and couch. what is on the mattress looks a lot like the dried blood on my carpet. but the rest on the floor looks like iodine.

  • Back in 2000, a group of kids were exploring the mental institution late one night. They walked into a room on the 6th floor without checking it, first. A bum jumped from behind the door and stabbed two of them. One died in the hallway. And one died right here on this bed. If you walk around on the 6th floor, you can find the blood stains.

  • i think its blood and i wanna know why on the thermal pic it showed up warm

  • If you have ever seen what comes out of a leaky ceiling with a metal pipe in it, this is pretty close, it is rust and crap. If there was a shot of the ceiling I am sure there would be more, or a hole and I am willing to guess some rusty pipes are above it too. It is not blood though, blood eventually turns a dark brown and fades away, and Betadine is a possibility too, especially considering this was once a hospital. I am guessing rust, mold or betadine.

  • yea, it doesnt really look like dried blood. probably betadine or even crap..but probably betadine

  • cool lol

  • its iodine :L

  • nasty

  • pepsi?

  • @SailorCybertron11223 Yeah, you're right. The stuff on the floor isn't blood because blood changes over time because of oxidization. Definitely not blood. The black spot on the blood - it's a huge possibility.

  • iodine??

  • o damn i spelt my coffee again silly me i get someone to clean that up =]

  • So some tomatoes were assassinated it is going to be OK !

  • its iodine that stuff dont change colors like blood does

  • blood turns brown when it dries up.

  • Melissa Giraldo

  • 1. blood is still red when its dry,but its just a little darker red.

    2.its blood! aarrggg!!! D:

  • Iodine and blood mixture.

  • blood!!!!!

  • That's mostly iodine but it looks like there is some blood there on the bed.

  • its blood alright... prob someone tried to kill themselves are psychiatrists tortured the poor soul. scary shit.

  • there seems to be a bit of blood on the bed, the rest is something else. what i think is someone broke a bottle of medical fluid, then managed to cut themselves on the broken glass. seems fitting in a mental institution.

  • the bed has blood on it and theres something else on the floor

  • nice pic, what do you think it is?

  • Hey, so thats what happend on my period?

  • how would the blood still be there?

  • It was difficult, but I finally managed to masturbate to this.

  • fruit bat semen. judging from the amount, the poor fella only had one teste.

  • soooomeone spilled their coffee!

  • Yeah, I can see that it isn't blood, but it's still freakin' creepy to look at. Not sure whether I want to know what happened around that bed or not. :/

  • i can see how it happened one of the patients was injured so the nurse came to his/her room to administer iodine to the wound but the patient got angry and smashed the bottle from the nurses hand on to the floor and that room never got cleaned since

  • it may be blood may be iodine but why would somebody put iodine all over the floor or more like where did they get it from most stuff like thats removed from hospitals after there apandoned so i got to say its blood .. blood drys black unless theres a big amount if it gets wet it will go back to red i work at a factory.. many accidents involving blood

  • somebody got pranked with coke and mentos

  • I think a visitor to the place (after it became abandoned) left it there as a prank

  • + look at the yellow in the middle= undry bile, guys, that is not iodine.

  • Its bile, iodine=not orange, not blood= drys brown and turns into dirtish crust bile on the other hand used to be a yellow color in the live body but when they die of rigamortis the bile spills and turns orange, it also the shape is convincing me it is bile.

  • @waddles44021 you can die of rigormortis? :O news to me!

  • @waddles44021 Rigamortis occurs within hours AFTER death. People dont die of rigamortis lol

  • @Theroyalbitch126 sorry that was a typo :P

  • not on the floor, some spilled medication, the bed, yes there is blood there but i think the main portion on the floor must be a mix of blood and medicine.

  • its some blood some other stuff

  • Looks like coffee :|

  • I mean it just doesn't make sense to me how a pool of blood would form like that.

  • deffently iodine

  • Whatever it is, why would someone just spill it and leave?

  • @MeltyCopyright To creep out other visitors probably, kind of like a prank. So they think it is blood.

  • I voted it up because if u look at the close up of the matress its darker than the rest of it. I called my mom who works at a hospital over (Im 15 guys) and she said the stuff on the floor is Definitley betadine, but on the matress, there is a blood clot there, and in some spot on the floor it is the same color, those two are blood clots, so yes there is some blood in there but the rest is betadine.

  • @SailorCybertron11223 It possibly being a blood clot, then with the hospitals credibility, it could've been a "suicide" patien. Illegal abortions to sexually assaulted patients were rumored to happen there. The clot could very well be from one of those abortions. Sad how they covered it up....

  • @SailorCybertron11223, whatever it is, it looks fresh, which is a little disturbing..

  • @SailorCybertron11223 Thanks for your response. So the patient on the bed bled profusely, for whatever reason, and was treated with betadine. And, of course, he or she panicked, became restless or even aggressive - mentally ill, after all - and shattered the bottle, so the betadine splattered. Sounds logical.

  • @NotOnlySelfLover That is probably exactly what happened

  • I defenitly think it's iodine. blood wouldn't quite look like that after drying.

  • @Goldenlocks123 But why would they have dropped such a large amount of Iodine? Then again, who would have bled that much?

  • @Drross0 I'm guessing it might have been a large bottle of Iodine. But if it was blood, maybe someone either got a large cut or threw up, I wanna go there and get a sample of the stuff and send it to a lab.

  • blood

  • most definatly blood. What eles could it be?!!?

  • other - apart from the fact I'd have thought blood would have disintegrated by now and it's much more likely a cleaning substance like Iodine, the splatter pattern looks more like something in a bottle was broken and splashed in all directions. Blood tends to spurt or ooze from a wound and make different patterns.

  • Macdonalds

  • thats not blood its run down from the other floors you see the same stuff in the halls

  • Definitely not blood

  • taste it

  • yeah, iodine, blood would not be red after drying

  • @sokoye1 when you watch the original video you can see that its brown and not red

  • shit...

  • Blood

  • I'm gonna say either somebody spilled a bottle of iodine/betadine

  • betadine

  • sperm

  • blud
