  • can someone tell me please the name of movie about cossacks and it's not Taras Bulba, not so old,my brother watch that movie but he doesn't know the title???

  • A very interesting discussion. It reminds me of the issues my country has. By the way on those lands what people live there now?

  • @Markolishus Same people who lived there for 3000 generations (according to genetics research). They used to be called Kriviches, Dregovichs, Yotvingians, Rusins, Rutheanians, Litvins. Today they are called Belarusians.

  • @Woloh Lithuanians, not Litvins, Yotvingians are extincted.

  • Ukrainians/ Bohdan Zynoviy Mykhailovych Khmelnytsky (Ukrainian: Богдан Зиновій Михайлович Хмельницький) (c. 1595 – 6 August 1657) was a hetman of the Zaporozhian Cossack Hetmanate of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (now Ukraine). He led an uprising against the Commonwealth and its magnates (1648–1654) which resulted in the creation of a Cossack state. In 1654, he concluded the Treaty of Pereyaslav with the Tsardom of Russia, which led to the eventual loss of independence to the Russian Empire.

  • Woloh, no you are right. But I just want to admit that polish nation is ( for me ) the most glorious in the world. I'm American but I think like that. And what's wrong ? If I were polish, I'd be very pround of it. Unfortunetaly...I'm not.

  • 2 Everyone:

The Grand Duchy of Lithuania will make its come back one day. And everyone - Polish, Russians, others - will have to shut up and stop steeling the history and legacy of this once great country. True, Belarusians and Lithuanians cannot agree on their common past yet, childish complexes are often taking over. But they will. Oh yes they will.

  • @Woloh My Polish patriotism caused me to replay to this two month old post. Poland did not take away your history, we shared a common history for several hundred years. Sure Poland may have been considered more important, but it was the same nation. About Lithuania's comeback, it would probably unite with Poland again. Hey what can I say, Poland and Lithuania are powerful as shit with each other. Poland is = with Lithuania. And to my fellow Poles, niech żyje Polska! :)

  • @TheNapoleonicEra I am not Lithuanian. I am Belarusian. Poles have forgotten who exactly shared with them fields of Grunwald, Kluszyn, and Polonka. But it's ok. We'll survive.

  • @Woloh you know poland and lithuania are like really good brothers

  • Woloh, if you think that polish people are stiupid... you thought wrong :))) Virtually, very very wrong... Nowadays polish society is the same as they were, in fact they're smart and intelligent. Do you know how was it hard to won the battle? Did you know? Unless read about it and then try to write sth normal.

  • @kasiasieniaxd I never said Polish are stupid. Polish are strong and glorious nation with rich and honorable history. They are the nation that doesn't need steeling the history of other people. They are the nation that is capable of admitting its own mistakes and war crimes (like in Bereza Kartuska). They are the nation of talented people, and they do not need empty inflating of their image at the cost of others.

  • im an archer but im not good at old archers...only modern archers but sometimes archers in robin hood times i can use...but archers as old as rome hohoho i can't use =)

  • Really good looking trailer asking since i don't know is this a movie trailer or the mount and balde with fire and sword trailer (pc game) eny way really awsome looking trailer

  • @Woloh Btw. u're a typical Internet troll, who likes to make people argue with each other. You're not worth of my time, scrub ;)

  • Really? I didn't call you nothing. Your poor Polish education made call me 'scrub', 'troll', 'stupid', 'skinhead', etc. Very Polish way of conversation. Verryyyy Polish. When no arguments, just start attacking opponent personally. Veeeery Polish. I wonder, what did I expect from a Pole? Reason? U r right, I am stupid, that's true.

  • @Woloh You cannot provocate me :) U're too stupid to be able to do that. Loosers? LoL, we lost only 2 wars in our over 1000 history. Biggest country in the world and second biggest lost more (find out which) ;) But u're too stupid to know that cuz they haven't taught u history. And yes, they took OUR land away. Our and Lithuanian. But you can't know that, because u're too dumb. If u want we can talk on Skype, too little space here. But first, go to books and learn something, skinhead ;)

  • @Woloh BS. Russians don't have any control over Poland. They had till 1989 thanks to western traitors tho. You wrote about Belarussians... they live on Polish soil. Just as nearly half of Ukraine is Polish ground, temporarily taken away by traitors like Churchill and Stalin.

  • @McG4evah Can you please give me a date when exactly Belarusian lands became Polish? Thank you.

If you cannot - feel free to admit your polish propaganda brainwashing.

  • @Woloh Heheh. Such fact never happened because Belarus didn't exist. There was something called "White Rus", which, if u know local languages, can be translated to Belarus. But Belarus as a country started to create in XXth century. Before that it was part of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

  • Ok. Give me exact freaking date when Poland occupied lands of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, then? Ha? Who's stupid now?

No Belarus? Maybe lands of the Holly Roman Empire were not German only because the country wasn't called Germany? Ha? C'mon. Give your best shot!

  • @Woloh which the baptism took the name Wladyslaw and began to rule, as Wladyslaw Jagiello. It's the same man who defeated the Teutonic Knights at Grunwald in 1410. From July 1 01.07.1569 - inauguration of the Polish-Lithuanian, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was founded. Poland and Lithuania became one of the country with the joint parliament and senate. So sites that reflected Russia, Lithuania, namely Belarus, Ukraine and all the rest, became the property of Polish.

  • @Woloh The area of today's Latvia, Estonia, Belarus and Ukraine was Tsar Ruthenian territory. These lands in the fourteenth century, Lithuania has received Rus Rus using internal unrest, and the weakness of this country. It happened that in 1385 Poland and Lithuania entered the relationship, because her husband, King Jadwiga Polish (woman, but she had the title King is not the Queen) was Grand Duke of Lithuania Jogajło

  • Belarus as you know is on territory what was in Polish borders from 1450-1800 and 1920-1945

  • @McG4evah Too fucking true.

And VO is gay. Propaganda brainwashing? Please.

And feel free to admit youre English.

Churchill is a fat swine just like the rest of them governoring gayasses.

  • To the author: learn some history and look who started all of that. I know we were not without fault, we were too good. We got paid with betrayal and slaughter. Our king was right: rebellions should be fought with blood, not with treaties.

  • @McG4evah

"Were too good"....Why then the uprising started? I agree that poles were and still are more developed than ukrainians. ok, but we had and have our religion, traditions, culture. Otherwise, why would we start the uprising and even using mouslims (tatars) to kick poles out from the land? It is funny, but you say about betrayal completely the same as Russians now tell about ukraine - "we were the same nation, lived in piece, and brotherhood, and than unthankful ukrainians betrayed us

  • Sorry man, I'm not accusing you in anything. It is just that all these unresolved childish complexes of ALL Eastern Europeans look utterly pathetic. We've got to re-learn how to talk to each other (without bullshitting about facts, I agree with you).

  • @proudtobeukrainian Lviv? It's always been Lwow! Polish city! Oppressors? LoL, you stole big part of our soil with British and Russian help. You murdered around 100 000 Polish inhabitants on our eastern lands (Bandera - does it tell u something?) that's why there's no Poles there now. You did it together with SS. Until today you didn't allow us to bury Poles who died there. This simple fact shows the truth.

  • @McG4evah

I believe that Lwow was founded by Rusin, called Danilo Galytsky, in the honour of his son back in 12--. Of course when these lands were taken by Polish people, Lwow became a Polish city and remained until 20th century. But please do not forget that the villages around were populated mainly by rusins (later called ukrainians), while the cities - of course by Poles. When you say Lwow is Polish city it makes me think, that in 100 years, Russians will say Kiev is russian city...

  • P.S. i'm not a polish nationalist who wants to return Lviv to Poland, but only thing i want is to make you first read, then learn. Cheers and make a good choice at your election, choose west and independence like you have choosen in 1991.

    Cheers Ukrainian brothers

  • @dawid8cfc then write not learn sorry for mistake
