hey fightman121 go to the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth and you'll see how Indians and Pakistanis behaved during WW2 -- fighting and dying shoulder to shoulder with British troops in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Pacific. Easy to bash them now -- but they helped Britain survive and win then.
I used to ask my mum if I could have one of those balloons, you know the big barrage one's hehe! Mind you that was in 1954 and they were still putting them up in my town. Great video and only the best singer, thanks
i love what the people of britain did, in fact i just want to say something, the amount of indians and pakistanis living in our country today, if they were in britain during wartime would they have helped us out, or would they have sat there eating their rationed curry letting our men die for a war started by a man who wasnt even german, and another man who thought he was a god, i just want to say for all those ww2 veterans left i say well done and god bless you chaps , for fighting GOD SPEED U
Typical optimism during the war. Even women do their part of the job. The new generation is already growing, and we adults just must deal with the situation before they can grow in peace. Lovely melody and awesome arrangement in this song. I love it.
I've watched this about 1/2 dozen times. The song is great. The video clips are super. This is a step back in time. Thanks for taking the time to assemble this. Much appreciated!
Great mix of video and song. Check group harmonizing from 2:10, building into Jo's solo @2:30 - she was among the best at weaving between tight group harmonies and soloing just above them.
