@gmanzeroalpha Why is it bullshit? People that buy these have the money and have the land/tools to build this Aswell before you get it insured you have to have it inspected by the FAA. They come pre fab . with a car you can buy kits aswell. If your talking about restoring a plane or car it takes longer because you have to tear it apart and fix / replace parts and try and find some parts no longer made Then find someone who can class it airworthy or driveable

Piper was actually so impressed with this aricraft, they did a deal with this Czech company and renamed this the "Piper Sport". It didn't last long though, as they quit the agreement last year, due to various differences in opinions on how to market the aricraft.

No one said it was a cheap car but at least finally aicraft are delivering real performance at car prices. That has to be something to celebrate. If the price is too much, then share it with a couple of friends and then it becomes very affordable. How many people would honestly fly every weekend anyway. Let's hope prices drop futher. At least now real, practical aviation isn't just the preserve of those who have $300,000 in their pocket.

@midtoad I'm sorry that your small brain does not understand what the cost is between a car and a aircraft. First you dont understand that a car is something that every person have, an aircraft NOT. Second the cost between them is fair, the new buggati cost 2.5 mill; or something like that for a stupid car. I'm an aircraft tech with an A&P and with 2 mill you can buy a piper apache with 2 turboprops and trust me they are fun to be honest they will cost even less.

@pred1990 I'm trying to understand your need to start name-calling simply because I pointed out this aircraft costs more than the car price they compare it to. There's nothing wrong with this plane, but the price is double the price of most cars on the road. It's still competitive with, say, a Flight Design CT, but they're not cheaper.

As for being a bird-brain, I have to say as a pilot that's the nicest thing anyone has said to be in a while. I'll take that a compliment, thank you.

@midtoad Listen pilots can kiss my ass, if you are not a pilot from the airforce or NASA you are a baby with a toy in your hands. Commercial pilots take off auto pilot and land, and dont come to me with that shit that you do more than that. Pilot's logbook and have a good landing, make sure you have more than 4 applications in your brake system but that is another story. About the cost of the planes again you cannot compare an aircraft with a car NEVER.
