What are you talking about. Prop 8 went through and thank goodness it did. Same-sex couples already have the same rights as heterosexual couples in California.
We are doing what's best for the children in protecting traditional marriage. All throughout history, a male and a female relationship has been the best environment for a child to be raised in. It is well documented. On the other hand, there are no comparative studies that indicate homosexual couples can do just as well.

Prop 8 is bullshit, it's bad enough couples of the same sex are only granted a domestic partnership not an actual marriage and now they're trying to get rid of that.

What are you talking about. Prop 8 went through and thank goodness it did. Same-sex couples already have the same rights as heterosexual couples in California.
We are doing what's best for the children in protecting traditional marriage. All throughout history, a male and a female relationship has been the best environment for a child to be raised in. It is well documented. On the other hand, there are no comparative studies that indicate homosexual couples can do just as well.

If this is not a wake up call then nothing is, what is next? Anything the voice of the people votes for will only become law if certain groups "approve" of their votes?
This is an issue of serious concern for all Americans if we want to preserve all of our freedoms, period.

To be honest, I find this whole yes to prop 8 thing wrong. If you don't agree to same-sex marriage, then don't marry someone of the same-sex. Who are you to judge how others live their lives. I am straight, but I know a few LGBT friends and they are just like everyone else, other than their sexual preference. They should be given the right like everyone else to declare their love through marriage.

i am afraid that something that happened in massachusetts will happen in CA. a teacher read a book the prince&the prince to her kids and the kids got this idea of homosexuality into their heads,and the parents were told by the court that they had no right to stop it. so im just worried that parents will be unable to stop their kids from learning things if they dont want their kids to learn that stuff at a young age. the church has to be careful of wat is said or can be charged w/ hate speech
