I have one of these too with a 5,000mah Li-Po. Can you get tires that are good for off road for these? Mine's useless unless it's on tarmac then it's insane (as you would know).
i was gonna get the stampede tires cause they look a bit more aggressive and they would last longer. i just have the unbalancing problem with the stock tires. I got panther paddles for the sand dunes. needed to gear it to 19/86 too keep from over heating. But far out these things are nutts!!! gonna make a new vid soon showing the paddels in action!! check it out !

I'll have a talk to my Traxxas dealer and see what they've got here in New Zealand.
Mine's pathetic on the grass. Will even get stuck on a freshly mown lawn!
