wow great answer, you completely broke all of my arguments... i suppose thats all what you can say because you cant debate anymore... im gonna repeat one thing, if you can take 4 step and shoot the ball without doing a dribbling, you can do the same with 20 steps too, what do you say against it?
@Ksianth not going against you or anything but i think its impossible to do 20 studder steps without having to either pick up the ball or dribble. but i do understand what youre saying too. you can actually take a lot of steps as long as you arent really moving anywhere and havent picked up the ball.
@chickenboy808 thats what im trying to say, you cant take 20 steps without dribbling because if you do that, you would carry the ball as in this situation. he takes 4 steps but he needed to dribble the ball once, he carried the ball with his one hand too long as in 20 steps:)
@Vezuls Please show me moron where in the NBA rule book you can take more than 2 steps after picking up the ball because you stutter stepped? Don't bother because it's not in there. This, by rule, is a travel in the NBA, NCAA or NFHS. This shit you do in the school yard doesn't fly here.So learn the rules because the only one who looks like a fucking idiot is you.
That's not a travel. He never put two hands on the ball to stop the dribble until he was actually shooting, and by then he wasn't moving his feet then.
wow so many fucking idiots, its legal because he did not "pick up" the ball when he was taking the steps. you can take as many fucking steps as you want if you havent picked up the ball.
@mhrce it's def a travel according to NBA rules (&all leagues) b/c he comes to a stop. when u stop, u get 2 steps. just b/c you fake another dribble &shoot doesnt entitle you to 3 more steps. sorry.
@mhrce your a fuckin idiot...how did he not pick up the ball...i didnt see him take a dribble, therefore he had to pick it up...he took the crossover dribble and then picked it up and took 4 steps...im sorry dude but your the fuckin idiot, learn basketball
@mhrce This is true, but then you have to dribble it again. You can take as many steps as you want between dribbles, but if you don't dribble it again, it counts as having picked the ball up...
@mhrce It's the same thing as when you take your two steps before you take your layup. If you take the two steps then jump and lay it up, it's not a travel, but if you take your two steps like you're gonna jump, then just stop, it's a travel
@mhrce uhm yea, is it legel to take 20 steps without picking the ball but without dribbling either? wow a new look at basketball, next time i play basketball, ill hold the ball with my hand and run towards the basket, if they call a travelling, i will show this comment to them...
@mhrce there is a major difference, he pulls up a shoot so its not BETWEEN two dribbles. its nothing different than attempting a layup. Actually he does a hesitation move and then pulls up a jumper but if you can take 4 steps before pulling a shot, you can take 10 steps too, see my point? you can take 3-4 steps between dribbles if you are sprinting but if you actually hold the ball in one of your hand (e.g. a hesitation move like in this one) and take 4 steps, its travelling sorry bro..
@mrpebles lol cuz a ref is gonna call a 1/2 inch studder step... HUGE violation everyone notices it without replaying it 5 times on a recorded video on the internet im sure... i hate that retards get freedom of speech i really do.
@yvensonfievre it was 3 steps, the first step into it was still in dribbling motion but the three after taht were not, he had moved his hand under the ball and brought it up, which means you only have two steps left, but he took three.
Haha, but Jordan did this a lot of times too where his feet moved so fast the ref's either didn't realize it, didn't catch it, or weren't sure enough about what happened to call it. Refs are human like everyone else. Lebron has had other travels that were far more obvious than this one in live game action. It's always much easier to watch things on television. Boxing is that way. Easy to tell someone to move or duck until you get in there and understand how fast things are happening.
@ryanrayonec i dont think its that NBA is entertainment so people dont come to see there stars get travel calls on them they come to see them make amazing plays
@Freemoney1000 Yeah but there has to be a balance. Even the refs are fans...look at the ref yelling YES during a Blake Griffin 360 lay up lol. There still has to be travel calls regardless of who is doing it but some happen so fast.
If you think you can do better, why don't you become an NBA ref

@fhsdawgs377 stopping dribbling doesnt mean picking up and gaining total control of the basketbal. youre dumb as hell.
