  • What you say one the wall was unpainted plaster.... there would be a hole there if they didnt put that ''test paint'' there. Why dont you learn about this stuff to make your garage nicer :D ?

  • @GSXraja yamaha r1

  • @GSXraja yamaha r1

  • Damn that's a good collection of bikes you got their. I'm only 17 and I want one. Hopefully ill get my first one by 19 yrs old. Nice car by the way. How's that garage going. Keep us updated with your garage and collection of bikes. Lol. You should make some videos and how to ride a bike for beginners. Lol

  • 2:35 this is why I'm moving to America.

  • @b33p I wish the weather always looked like that =)

  • @billmaa I'm b33p (moto vlog account) I live in Ireland and I'm sure you have better weather than I do most of the year. By the way, I'm touring Ireland this summer on my bike with my girlfriend on the back -- I've been using your touring tips videos to help with the planning and it has, so thanks for that.

  • good collection and a Honda fan there :-)

  • How's the garage going??

    :)

  • what model is the black bike?

  • Nice collection in that garage and good luck on the remodeling.

  • If your sheets are long enough, stand them upright. They're all 4ft wide, and should still fall on center correctly with the studs 16" on center. As long as you start on the end, where they're equally spaced 16 inch centers. That way, you only have the vertical tape lines to do. Beats doing vertical and horizontal tape lines. Plus, it's way faster and looks ok before you tape and mud.

  • dont complain, you have room for a car and FOUR bikes, or plenty of room to work on any 1 vehicle at a time, holy shits... not to mention the fact that you can afford all those and the insurance on them all, so really i wish i had your situation right now lol

  • @aric126 Sorry bro, I didn't mean to come off as a complaining..I guess the title is misleading...I simply meant that my garage needs a bit of a remodel lol..

  • SO THIS VID WAS IN 10-1 ITS 10-5 NOW SO HOW FAR U GOT??

  • Man i really miss having my own garage where i could play with the bike and cars, beacuse every now and then each of them needs something done and there's nothiing worse then doing that under sky.. especially when it's either raining, damn cold or it's already dark when i get to it.

I miss that good old garage i used to have.

It's cool your garage is big enough so you can keep all the toys inside, i bet it will look almost like MotoGp pit boxes when you're done with the Honda wings logo :)

  • WTF is a gahraaahj?

    It's a garij

    QUEENS ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER

    :)

  • man you need to hook me up with a job wherever you work haha... you have way too many awesome toys in the garage!

  • Man, I need more coffee. I just reviewed my spelling performance in the last two post's. Sub par indeed!

  • One last thing, and this can be considered preference, I like to use the dry mix drywall compound only because you can buy the quick dry stuff and can get 2-3 coats on in day. That bucket you have in your video is going to take a good bit of the day to dry.

  • A few things.... Make sure when hanging drywall around doors/windows that you use butt joints and not valleys (makes life easier when your installing trim). Work from the top down. Now is a great time to put in a few more electrical outlets as you can never have enough. Hold your knife at like a 95-100 degree angle(ish), and make sure it's a good quality (read stiff) knife. Other than that, patients is key.

  • Hmm.. how about a Jolly Roger but instead of cross bones or swords use Honda wings! :D

  • Thumbs up for volunteering!

  • Good luck Billmaa, hanging dry wall sucks ass. Just make sure you mark where the studs should be before you start screwing up the dry wall, might save some extra holes and Spackle.

  • at least u have a garage :L

  • somebodys been watching a little too much HGTV!!!

  • before you do it at all make sure all the studs are 16 inches on center. if its off make a note of it so you dont make extra screw holes and have to patch them up

if the drywall isnt the exact same height as the wall your attaching it to get a little drywall lift(its foot operated fairly simple, cant think if its called something else) and put the big sheet of drywall up flush with the ceiling first. reason being? do a bottom piece and then good luck lifting drywall up and keeping it flush

  • Love the Honda Wing idea! I cant wait to see it! :D

  • when will you be done? and just tellin you for a suggestion, my neighbor has tile in his garage and its amazing and looks great and easy to clean, pretty nice stuff, hope everything works out for ya.

  • great winter project.

  • Hm I'm pretty jealous of you.. you need to have a awsome-payed job to afford all these things *_*

  • i hate my garage to... oh wait! i dont have a garage :(

  • @billma you really need to do it somewhere, or at least get a bigger flag

  • i hate it too, its awful cause you make me jealous, poor canis envies you too, the most probably

  • good luck

  • I'm planning on updafing my garrage soon also. Including work bench, cabinets and floor coating.

Good luck on your plroject and rsmf...

  • make sure you put the the dry wall a tiny bit of the ground so if theres water on the floor for what reason it cant ruine your plates en just hide that space with a plint <--- damn i dont know if this is the same in english cause i dont know the word just a small wooden strip over the gap lol) and use some kit so youre sure its waterproof that would be my advice cause its almost sure you are going to leek fluids in your garage o and have fun :P

  • No Sheetrock.

  • No gypsumboard.

  • No, plasterboard.

  • Drywall ,

  • too bad you didn't ask before you purchased the dry wall, but you should drywall 4ft up the peg board the remainder of the way!

  • @britex3186 Thats a pretty good idea Lonnie, I'm not too worried about having extra drywall. I have an unfinished basement that is going to be my winter project...

  • Tips: Use paper tape; the fiberglass mesh stuff bites. Speaking of fiberglass, throw some insulation on those walls if you've got the coin. Someone may be engaged in preparatory tinkering on a KLR all winter.

Don't try to recycle your "mud" by putting it back in the bucket. Trash what's in your pan when your done for the day.

Bribe NT8 with beer to come do it for you...

  • @L0udP1p35 Thanks Cliff, I've got paper tape, buddy of mine said the same thing..NT8 drinks that cheap stuff...thats a good idea =)

  • ho yeah... the honda wing is Genius!

i might just do same in my bedroom!

(yup.. i'm bored with my bedroom... i've been wanting to make it less boring for ages now... and when you said you were going to paint the Honda wing... well.. my thought was... "why tha hell didnt i think of that before!!!"

    lol

hope you dont mind stealing your ideia hehehe

  • @canis002 I think there should be more Honda wings in the word...so please take the idea and run with it...but make sure you make a video =)

  • nice garge I hate mine because there is to much crap in it . arrrgh pirate mate good luck with the drywall at least the garage you can make mistakes and learn :) cheers

  • Hey dude, always stagger the drywall/plasterboard. That way, if a crack comes through, it wont go all the way across.

    have fun :)

  • Hey dude, always stagger the drywall/plasterboard. That way, if a crack comes through, it wont go all the way across.

  • I got a shitty little shed which can just about hold a bike :(

When i grow up I wanna be billmaa :)

  • Believe me, there are worse garages out there - I own one.

    p.s. That's not drywall - it's plasterboard =)

  • @gobbledegook12 it is plasterboard..shows how much I know =)

  • always use screws in the drywall lol

  • At least you got a garage man! :)

  • Wanna trade garages, and everything in them? lol

  • Here's a great tip, go to Home Depot or equiv. & grab a Phillips head Dimpler, it's a bit that goes on your cordless drill that will sink the screws down perfectly for spackle. Cost about $15...oh & get a friend 2 help you lol, good luck bud!

  • @lampingromeo Awesome dude, thanks man...I wanted to use screws instead of nails...but didn't wanna have to buy the screw gun..perfect

  • its 7 degrees and lots of clouds... oh wait... im in england !! =((((

still doesn't stop me riding with my summer gear like i did last year lol

  • can't wait to see the transformation, I'd like to see you paint a huge jolly Roger on that back wall instead of the Honda logo

  • @simplystrick You're the second person who has suggested that....I might have to put that on another wall =)

  • @billmaa

I'm going to say this like an old video game for shits and giggles

    Collect black and white paint

    Place paint in garage

Use black paint on inside of garage door

    Pick up flag

    Use flag with white paint

Use white paint on door to make Jolly Roger over black paint

    Move back

    Win

  • Habitat for Humanities? Wow I've always wanted to do that! And i can't imaging what the next owners will think of the Honda logo! LOL! (Just make sure you do it the right way, on some bikes it's pointing a different way. i think maybe their dirtbikes?)

Anyway I'll be looking forward to it!

  • @twistedkeys1 the wing is always with the trailing edge to the rear with the lettering being read left to right...it's different on which side of the bike you approach =) There is a proper way to display an American flag too, with the union towards the front and the stripes trailing the rear...I can't tell you how many harley guys have called me unpatriotic for riding Japanese while they have their flag on ass backwards...Haha

  • Put some extra electrical wall plugs in first

  • My garage needs a nice epoxy finish on the floor. I plan on doing that. If you want

more power outlets in the garage, do it before you put up the drywall.

Consider adding insulation in the walls that you dry wall. Use screws instead of nails when installing the drywall. Nails work themselves out.

If you think you will need a compressor that requires a 240v circuit, run a wire from the panel to a 2 gang box in the garage. Wear a mask for dust

from the panel to a box in your garage.

  • @cashstore1 Cool beans, thank you for the tips...I knew this was a good idea to make this video

  • @billmaa I see my last two sentences got spun around. It was suppose to be run a wire from your panel box to a two gang box in your garage. Compressor take a lot of juice and it's best if they are on their own circuit. It's one of my best tools in my garage. The dust mask is for the massive amount of dust sanding does when you prepare the tape of paint. Nasty stuff. Off to my KLR now. Going to paint it. Another use for a compressor.

  • To see the wall exposed like that it means there is no insulation?? If not - you should put some. would get the garage warmer and it will be better for the bikes and the car not to have so much humidity and cold during the winter. + there would be a possibility for you to do stuff in the winter in it.

  • don't have to much fun Billy. I've done drywall ceilings and that shit sucks. had to do it by hand. arms were killing me for a week. lol

  • Billmaa! What is it that you do for a living?!!?! That alows you to do this and have all these toys.

  • What do you do for a living, Billy, if it's not too invasive? Seems like you do really well, considering you have my dream toys T.T

    <3 Honda

  • @Giggity0721 I'm in the military

  • the last few days have been like that for me. its a godsend

  • hey billmaa, i got a question for u and i am just curious, maybe you have answered this many times already.

What do you do for living? It seems like you make a decent living judging by the fantastic toys you have in your garage. THanks

  • that would be a one car garage if it was mine, reasons; tools, bench, more tools, shelves, even more tools, extra parts

  • Insulate the walls if its adjacent to the living areas of the house.

Grab a beer and drink it. Repeat until this urge goes away. It will take much longer than you think it will and will only look OK. And when its done, you're going to wish you spent your time riding instead of working.

  • @dahveed284 Haha, after I made this video, I rode for about two hours...came back stood in the garage and drank a couple of beers just pondering

  • If I was still living in Bellevue. I'd help you out, Bill. lol

  • @rolpal619 I know you would my friend

  • Hey Bill, there are a lot of choices for the cement floor. They resist oil and look real good. Some are paint on with fantastic colors.

    John, Canada.

  • My tip?

    don't fuck up :P

  • @tjmick1992 Lol, I'll keep that in mine

  • Have fun man ! My shop aint finished yet, but I love it ! Keep us updated....

    Have a goodun' D-Ray

  • @draywanda Thanks D-Ray

  • I miss my garage, hell my bike sits outside now, that sucks. On the drywall, I would recommend putting the gypsum board up horizonally, that way if the mud is not perfect, you will not be able to see the humps, where the mud is covering the joints. Also take your mud out wide, the wider the easier the blend. I also have done corners by cutting the drywall from the opposite direction and braking it, no mud work that way and a clean corner, of course that would make the corner part vertical.

  • @moose3971 Thanks man, I appreciate that...This kinda info is exactly why I posted such a crap video..

  • You are going to need a lot more spackle than that.... hangin the drywall is easy.. tapin and spackling is not... but its doable.. the garage is going to look awesome... but why not throw some insulation in there? even some R13 or R19 would keep it cold or hot when you want it especially since its part of the house..

  • your probably a porn star... Thats how you can buy all this stuff

  • @5010246 Oh...is it that obvious?

  • Yes! Just what I have been waiting for! A garage vlog! ; -P

  • i like how its unfinished (: shows master carpentry.

  • drywall, bondo, screws and its easy mode... i have done tons of drywall, redid 2 houses already in it with my stepdad.. Put up the drywall, bondo the gaps sand it and paint.. I might suggest a flexible bondo as you are putting it on wood and wood lives so it might crack when you bondo it with a normal bondo.

  • Those all your bikes ? They're nice. good luck with your garage!

  • Dude, just asking but how many motorcycles are in there? And could you tell me the models please? Thanks.

  • Wish I had my own garage to hate. =P

  • @Itsreload Ditto. Hell...I'd even take a tent to park my bike in.

  • @Itsreload, me too. lol

  • the honda wing is going to look good an for the floor u can ues ucot i think is wat is called

  • rich mofo!

  • Make sure you T-A-K-E Y-O-U-R T-I-M-E on the floor and cover it with clearcoat. I neglected that step with my epoxy and now wet tires tear spots of it up when they've been sitting for a bit.

  • am glad i wasted 3 mins watching this shite . dont know what everyone else thinks but couldnt give a fucked about you plastering ur garage . quality video 10 stars

  • Nice project :) Tips of the day are: "Measure twice....cut once!" :P Assuming you have tapered edge board, don't be shy with the jointing cement.....it shrinks back a little no matter what the product says, and you can sand away any excess easily - feathering the edges! And, leave a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom for expansion. More Jimmy tips available upon request....who need's eHow anyway!?!? :P

  • I have a very similar project ot do here with my garage but am thinking I will leave it till the Spring....just like I did last year...lol.

  • billy i love ya bro.. but i have to say this is one time im glad i dont still live in Omaha! actually not really, ild help out but i might need some Pizza go to with RC62's beer!

  • The only people that finish their garages are the ones that are putting down roots.

Billy? Are you putting down roots? Billy? Hmm? Are ya?

  • @davidhowellca somebody's on to something here!

  • @davidhowellca Haha, a vlog about weddings and now dolling up my garage...I can see your evidence for this case...I assure you that it is purely circumstantial Haha

  • nice paint collor and the honda wing on the wall is gonna be sweet my brother if ya only lived in sc

  • If thats a Cervello hanging on your wall...then its the best garage Ive scene so far...if not its still #1

  • @stjeepan That would be sweet, but it's a specialized allez =)

  • good luck billy!i hate doing projects like that,it seems like there is always something more fun to do!GOD bless ya bro!

  • @kneedown4GOD exactly, I"m watching football today for example..Haha, thank you

  • Good luck. All those nice vehicles deserve a nice garage.

  • Welcome back!

  • @NeChick215 Thank you =)

  • really nice car, like 3 really nice motorbikes, unreal houses and weather. and im in ireland. how shit

  • so what bike did you ride that fine day?

  • @02wheels I took the big zed out and spend up a half a tank =)

  • @billmaa yeah she is a nice bike. just curious why didn't you get the zx-14 and give tracy and his busa some competition . i kinda wish i got the zx-14 instead of the connie 14...oh well

  • @02wheels My zed has ported and polished heads, degreed cams, K & N, PC III and a full Muzzy system...She may only get 26 mpg, but she is more than capable of making a Busa cry :)...I've never really like the 14s looks...those jelly bean headlights are silly...and those those foreman grill side plastics looked better on Don Johnsons '86 Testarossa lol

  • @02wheels I think you did better with the Connie :)

  • I gave plastering walls a go once.....All i can say is i hope u do better than i did :).

  • @8cuttlefish8 Haha, me too =)

  • Seems riding always gets in the way of all my projects too. Wierd how that happens.

  • I think it'll be cool if can turn one wall into a collage of pictures of all the places you've been to (I'm sure you have tons of memorable images). Just a thought.

  • @ricci530 That's a really cool idea

  • rent a panel lift its worth the money, and lots off cold beer

  • Looks like a rewarding project. If there is any knowledge I can pass on from my days of drywall work, it is coat your corners twice, and don't try to make the 2nd coat of mud perfect. Sand it down and then throw on a third, light layer. Good luck!

  • You've done H4H? (Habitat for Humanity)

Me 2! Went to Romania to help build houses for the poor. I live in Norway.

  • @lasive I've done it a few times, it's pretty neat

  • Ooooo man what a day that you have all we had was high winds and rain Baaaah

    dang it

when you go to install the sheet rock install it horizontilyit will resist cracks better and almost cut free

take care good luck and ride safe dang it and no more LOL 80 90 mph

  • Ooooo man what a day that you have all we had was high winds and rain Baaaah

    dang it

when you go to install the sheet rock install it horizontilyit will resist cracks better and almost cut free

take care good luck and ride safe dang it and no more 80 90 mph lol

  • Holy crap what an amazing look day outside, you sould of seen it here in sunny England today. Pouring with rain no-stop! Ah its not to so bad though, kinda makes it feel cosey to have a fire place going and hang out inside :-) Garage doesn't look bad to me, we moved house last year and the only problem was the lack of garage. I really miss it...

  • @bfmv580 I can second the weather comment :P

  • @extreme601 Haha yep, its BS.

  • Dang it and i wanted the pirate flag lol :)

  • "i dont hate the stuff thats in my garage" lol yh wouldnt think so :P again, nice collection ^^ pirate flag will stay lol wow what a nice day, going ridin' ;)

  • I really like the Honda wing idea, but I'm surprised you didn't go with a giant jolly roger.

  • @steelhorseclub Yanno, after reading this...all I could think is "I have three walls to paint on" hmmmm

  • @billmaa Wall one- jolly roger

    wall 2- honda logo

wall 3- You hold a competition to design a superfriends logo and you put the result here.

  • @steelhorseclub yeah great idea with the third wall :D make a competition to design a logo for ur wall billmaa :D

  • i did not know you had specialised road bikes in America

  • @ashley118118 Oh yeah, I love that thing

  • tips ? well what i always tell (nag) everyone, put plenty of new power outlets in all the right places before you start, because i'm weird i have a really unhealthy hatred of extension leads :O

looking forward to seeing the finished project :)

  • Lucky You! 74, no clouds, go riding. Been cloudy and/or raining for most of Sept here.

I'm with RC62...get some beer, call your buds!

  • billmaa the handyman

  • cant wait to see the after... omg jealous gorgeous day

  • what do u do for a living....if u dont mind me asking???

  • I would ride in 50 degree weather with clouds and or rain. I love bikes.

  • @NinjaOnANinja Me too bro

  • lol if you think that's bad then you should see my garage!

  • work on the garage or go for a ride?...yeah

  • Nice idea, i don't really think your garage looks that bad in the first place though, it looks better than most houses i've seen, especially the equipment inside it! What happens to your dog (Coosh i believe? not sure on the spelling) when you do the BWOM trips by the way? I used to have pets but don't because i like to do a lot of travelling now and it was always hard to leave them and/or find someone to take care of them

  • It's time to buy a bunch a beer and get some buddies to come over and help. :D

  • @RC62 Good thinking Rob =)

  • @RC62 BE RIGHT OVER i'am on the next flight
