It was the best day I've had in a long time. Chances are we stood not far from each other. My brother was the one with the "Peace Sucks" sign. Heh. I'll post some links for you when I get the video up. There may have been some misty eyes at The Wall and during the opening Rally but there was such a powerful sense of energy and comaradery emanating from all those Vets. What a wonderful thing to see and feel. The anti-America protesters seemed stunned.

Just got back from DC - GREAT! Eagles won the Field! Fox News only Major News setup in area - Eagles clearly had the most supporters We Defended the Wall against Terrorist sympathisers - Saw Cindy Sheehan arrive in a stretch Limo (What's up with That?) Eagles win the "chant" USA! USA! My favorite was "We Want Jane!" and "Che is Dead we killed the Commie!" and "Where is your Burka?"

Why it is necessary to demean those who disagree with the current war in order to support the troops? If people had listened to those who protested bush's bloody attack on Iraq in the beginning, a lot of fallen soldiers would be alive and whole now. Demonizing those with whom you disagree as anti-American troop-haters does nothing to respect or honor the troops.
