under warranty. with the bass drum mic, i get a snappy sound if i have it in my port hole so i just direct it to the top of the drum and it sounds great. i am also looking at getting a Tascam US-1800 so i can record more frequently and have better quality.
RkWayneC yes i would recommend these mics. they are affordable and better quality than any sampson or CAD set you will find (in my opinion, because Apex is a more established company) they are perfect for starting out. i got my Apex DP3 pack for $295 Canadian so if you are looking to start recording and seriously considering it i fully recommend it. the only problems i have had is the connectors being loose on a couple mics but they are under a year old so i am going to see if they are
