I ever been wanted to be in a pink floyd concert but I did not had the chance,I hope to have the experience any any moment and david is one of my favorities in the band-i very much loves it songs.
My wife and I saw Dave play High Hopes like this in Oakland in 2006! I'm so happy I had a chance to see David and Rick perform before Rick passed. It was an awsome show. RIP Rick!
I'd really love that David come to play to Mexico. He hasn't come since the '94 Division Bell tour with the rest of the guys. And now that Rick passed away, I think he's not coming back.
can you feel this is one of his favourites songs? the solo tells us, the way he always changes it so slightly but so noticeable at the same time. his life is in it, completely.
KICK FREAKIN ASS GILMOUR. I've watched the live version from London (I think) numerous times but have not seen this session version until tonight. St.Maglor, thanks a billion for posting it. What a beautiful song and spectacular ending. That Taylor nylon all the way out of the tune after finishing his solo on lap steel solo is magnificent. The steel solos are a bit different in the 2 performances but both equally outstanding.
I love this song. I love it so much, whenever I become a film director, I plan on using it for the ending of one of my films. Because it's the perfect song for an ending, because it sort of reflects a journey that everyone eventually has. Definately beautiful.
If the solo,at the end, went on for 3 days,I would listen to it for 3 days..Pure magic...

I just hope David will be healthy always. Live forever until he wants to play for the poor mortals.

Quite simply the most beautiful song David Gilmour has written to date, with Murder being 2nd.
I just read the news of Richard Wright's passing. And after hearing this song and seeing him here in this video it just fucking hurts that much more.
RIP...take care of Syd for us.

WOW! What's the tuning for the flat guitar? Can anyone please tell me what it is? I don't think it's regular tuning.
tiansebas 3 years ago
the "flat guitar" is called a lap slide. its in normal tuning yes, its just played with a slide which makes it sound the way it doesnt
