A.G.Russel Acies qc issues

That's crazy. I've heard of emersons having bad fnf but wow. Nothing compared to that. Hope they send you a good one though, that's a really cool looking blade, plus you don't see zdp-189 or other steels used as much on these kind of blades, just s30v or s35vn now. It really sucks that the Acies, IMO, is already living in the Sebenza's shadow but to ship out such a poorly made knife to a customer....that's just not helping their cause. I can't believe how much different you Acies is to mine. I'm happy to hear that you'll be giving them one more chance. I really like the Acies despite some of the flack that I got for saying so. I hope you get a good one this second time man:)

@darkchild57 thanks man I agree I like the look and feel of the knife I think I just got a dud, I am sure my next one will be good as I contacted A.G. Russel directly and sent it to him personally so I am sure I will get the nicest in the fleet.

Yeah, you should at least buy, try, and resell... For someone who likes full-titanium frame locks, owning a Sebenza, (even if only for a little while,) is pretty much an imperative.

Especially if you sent them a letter with a link to your video. Then said that the returned knife will be VR'd and a full discussion on the post sale customer service.

that kinda stuff drives me nuts but i have never bought a knife where i couldn't find some kind of flaw somewhere but that has a little to many. looks like they dropped the ball on the quality control on that one disappointing for sure :( send it back i have sent more than a few back.
