I believe the "open mind" comment was directed at the sleeping, as the only viable starting point. Though without logic and reasoning skills (sheeple) they will revert to snooze. They are unable to process new information. The sheeple have been thoroughly and completely indoctrinated. Mass awakening prior to a conflagration is not possible.
