I got the HTC Desire and i must say it is simply amazing. It has not so much aplications like iPhone buti it is groving. It has a beautiful screen, amazing games, beutiful wallpapers and so much more. Its a phone that is worth buying. Java, Flash and ewerything else is in so the internet works perfect. It has Adobe reader. And you even can instal a emulato fo gameboy DS! amazing i simply love this phone. i deare to say that it is better than iPhone 4G

are the backgrounds changeable? cause if not i wouldn't get this phone. the only thing keeping me from buying the HTC HD2 is that: 1. windows 6.5 will become obsolete once windows 7 comes out, and 2. that you are forced to only one un-customizable background. so my question is...... are the backgrounds customizable not just in the widgets sense but in the backgound picture sense? like if i wanted to put a Iron Man background, on the back i could?

i got this phone, before you consider buying it please notice the phone only has about 100 mb left on the internal phone memory for apps, browser cache, emails, messages and so on ... you cannot use your SD card to install apps (without a hack) for me thats a big problem...

Apple will continue to release new OS and versions of the iphone to prevent anyone else getting leverage over them in the market. There's no such thing as an "iphone killer" just like everyone predicted their to be an "ipod killer". Never happened.

The sheer volume of units sold means Apple can charge a lower price to get your hands on an iphone as well.

The nexus one could have been an iphone killer except it wasn't well known as in a U.S. only phone and only sold online. Once these new HTC smartphones hit the retailers around the world the Iphones would be crippled; at least til the iphone 4g comes out.

But they're working against HTC's stellar performance w/o having created any enemies, like Apple has. They will find no public hate or mistrust of HTC to leach juror hate from! :D

Jobs started Apple's stealing w/ Blue Box calls from AT&T. Stole GUI & mouse from Xerox. Nothing new, just cries loudest! xD

So your saying that that the iPhone is nothing like old HTC phones that had a touch screen, applications that you could install, GPS , removable batteries, expandable memory, ability to install what ever you want. Oh wait the iPhone can't do those last few things that my old phone could do 4 years ago. I will admit the iPhone does some good stuff in a nice package but by no means is it very original.
