i like ur video thank you ,,,but answer me please ,,wich can i buy, tempu, dinair,or luminesse ..can you help me please , im make up artirst and i move to United state, and i need buy one for start to work , wich you can recomend me . i dont have experience in airbrush
LOVE my Dinair! My whole face routine (foundation, blush, contouring, and highlighting) only takes about 10 minutes total. I bought a Temptu last year and returned it because I went through 1.5 airpods in one month! (The pods contain less than .25 ounces of product!) Plus, Temptu's foundation is silicone based and my skin reacted poorly to that. It was extremely user-friendly though and is probably why the Dinair was super easy for me to pick up.
NIKKABLUE: They now offer "less is more" bands to help regulate the airflow....you can go on the site & inquire about them...I believe they will send them to you for free!
Great review! I just got one of these for Christmas and I can't wait to try it. Is it possible to just use it for foundation and add powder for blush and shadow and then draw on brows over it? it sounds like that's what you do for your brows, right?
I just bought a Dinair system. I'm psyched to get to try it out. The con i've discovered so far is it is kinda loud so it's not really something I can do quietly w/o waking everyone up.
I went with Dinair too! I decided against Temptu Air Pod system because you can't customise the foundation shades. The couple of shades they sell in their pods is it!
I live in Australia and I bought my system directly from Dinair in the US. I used Dinair's online chat system for assistance when purchasing from their website and the lady who helped me was fantastic, she explained everything so well.
shopping for the best airbrushing system:how it covers, how long it stays, ease of application, price probably last-was told that airbrushing is the best thing for my skin but left to research-all input is welcome! I will have to start using it soon-holidays and I am in parades and I need to look good! Thanks
im gonna be airbrushing my whole body for a halloween costume in blue and am going to be buying their paint....what size do you recommend? I know the biggest choice would be the best but im also trying to reduce cost too.

I've had no problem just putting a small amount of water into the airbrush and putting it on full blast to clear out the makeup. (Dinair system) I saw a makeup artist do this on a movie set i was on. Quick, easy, new color in less than a minute.
Just a question, because you said it took long to switch between colors... Is it fine to just use the foundation and apply a powder blush instead, or does it look weird or uneven?
I really love your review. So I bought the machine and love it. I am about your complexion and the single application take about 2 mins and lasts all day. i use a base color a contour and a highlight by mixing the foundation colors.
There is one thing I would differ from you though., I really find it to be FASTER than the old way. I can get my make up on and get out of the house much more quickly. I can place foundation highlights and contour in 2-3 mins then dunk hose in the water and go!
I have the same skin problem as you, half way through the day my skin gets oily and i need to re apply all foundation etc it's so annoying. I really want to buy this but it's not exactly cheap :(
You right, it's not cheap and if the had not had it on flexible payments, I probably would not havepurchased it either. But, They do offer to break it down into 3 payments for you so it works out to about $100 a month for 3 months. Not bad at all.
@lalalachica87 You can but It's not really cost effective. Keep in mind that a 1 ounce bottle cost about $25. Now you only use about 6-8 drops for foundation to do your whole face and neck with the airbrush. So the foundation last a really long time. Now if you put that foundation on a sponge, you use way more than you would use with the airbrush. Therefore, you run out quicker and have to buy more and it starts to add up.
@Mechalindsay Like I said in the video, I've worn this stuff all day long and it has not worn off. not evenr with me touching my face throughout the day. Once this makeup is on, it's really on. You will have to use soap and water to remove it.
You need an airbrush that will spray a huge amount at once. I use the Testors air brush (for model air planes etc) and I just take some regular oil based foundation, mix it with tea tree to thin it out, cover my hair, and spray. Then I blot the excess oil off my face with a tissue, and powder. Perfect! Also, this does NOT aggravate my horrible acne because of the tea tree oil.
@missanna208 I suppose you could do that if you want to cover large areas all at once but, keep in mind, that I'm also using this airbrush to apply eyeshadow and blush as well and cannot use an airbrush like that to apply those. I need to have one that sprays smaller amounts in lighter layers so that there's no back spray and the makeup go where I want it to go.
@lunanextic1 The kit that I purchased came with 4 foundations in my color range. I think it goes lig, medium, dark. so pick the range your skin tone is in and one of the foundations you get should be your color. You can also send your picture to dinair and they will pick the right color for you.
Very informative & believeable. would like to see you use it but the info you gave was waht I needed to purchase Dinair rather than Luminess. their make up is priced higher & Dinair has an adjustabel dial, not like Luminess where you only get one speed for the same price Thanks
Thank you so much for sharing with us, I'm really glad to know alittle bit more about the Dinair air brush make up. I have been wanting to purchase air brush but I wasn't sure which one to buy, and Temptu is too pricey for me. I was just wondering if the air brush came in the package the way you showed us in the video? Or did it come in pieces which you had to assemble?
@ShuhanaNY I had to do a little assembly that cosited of conecting the hose to the compressor and connecting the airbrush to the hose. the power cor plugs into the compresssor but thats it. Takes like 2 minutes to put together.
yes.....please do show a before and after...i am very curious...i am getting married in July and want flawless makeup and have some acne that i would love to cover flawlessly..so i am looking for more pictures of before and after...thank you for the review and caution of taking longer to put on.

I know you cannot apply concealer after you you do airbrush makeup, is this the same for blusher as well?
theKettleXBlack 11 months ago
@theKettleXBlack You can apply blush after you airbrush as long as it's a powder, not a cream or liquid.

Yes, it doesn't smear after it dries, and it dries almost immediately after you put it on.

You don't have to clean it out before changing the colors....
ex. (moving from foundation to blush) :
After you're finished with the foundation color...add the blush color and blow it through on a tissue until the blush color comes through.
And have you taken the workshop?
