The few other trailers I watched focused on explosions and all that Hollywood stuff, but yours carries the emotional weight of the isolated little boy from the book. Much more powerful. Child actors usually irritate me but the boy who narrates, his understated performance is really, really great. Very well done!

Yes. Very well done. Actually, there was a movie in the works of being made, & they even had Wolfgang Peterson to direct it, but Wolfgang abandoned the project, I think, because he wanted an action film & Orson Scott Card wanted something else. Apparently, they couldn't agree on a compromise. Once Wolfgang left, it kind of fizzled. Hopefully, in time, some1 will pick it up.

There's something to be said for getting Card involved. On the same token though, Stephen King fucked up every movie he' been involved in. Troy pretty good. Perfect Storm, excellent. Poseidon, not so much. But maybe Orson didn't realize the differences between the media.

Orson Scott Card just finished his most recent, and best, re-write of the script. The reason why the moie has taken so long is simply because the director and the producer got into some financial trouble and had to leave the project. but Card has a new production team now.

Well, what Bean looks like is really up to how you interpret the books. But Bean is Greek so I guess he'd be darker, whether as this kid looks more American, and Ender is American.

This is an excellent trailer for my all-time favorite novel, not to mention the new marvel comic that has just been released is a masterpiece.

Ever since I heard the song Mad World by Gary Jules I can't help but think that song describes Ender perfectly, not to mention it sets the mood for Enders struggle through life emotionally.

Listen to the song and picture Ender.

I think the author would be pleased with this considering it's only fan made. I spoke with him about a movie, and he wants to, but all these corporations want to make the movie to their standards, and he doesn't agree with letting them butcher it. It was a great piece of work. Keep it up.

I keep watching this over and over and every time I come close to tears. I don't even need a whole movie. This short trailer says so much. AMAZING JOB!

Well, Orson Scott Card is writing the movie script. He'll do a good job. If he can get that script through to anyone who matters.

My issue is that it won't have a good budget, and all the special effects will be crap. That wouldn't be good. I'm not worried about the story 'cause Card is writing it :P
