  • very informative.

and your hair looks hella healthy.

  • wow it looks nice!

  • Ahh thank you so much! This was super helpful.

my hair isn't even that dark but i can never get it platinum.

    It's so cute on you!

and Utgardchaos is just jealous. ;)

  • You suite platinum crazy good love it ! with the pink creative :P

  • this is scary!!

    asian woman whit blonde/white hair...

its really wierd, i bet most people on the street turn dont they?

  • i've recently had a hair dissaster and was wondering if i could get to a platnum white colour like yours which is what i was trying to get.

my hair is at a blonde with orangy yellowy tones-not too good. do you have anny suggestions as to what i could do to get a colour like yours ?? thanks

  • hey girl i indeed love your hair looks really good im light too but i had a salon disaster you can come check me out and see what hair color xperts did to me not cool..now i might have to wait until my hair gets healthy again until i redo it inless you have advices for me , do u know if wella blonder is anygood? i mean it lifts 7 levels 2

    thanks xoxo

  • unphreys07- Yes, I've heard that Wella is good too, but I haven't used it and I don't know the directions, that's why I can't recommend it. But if you do know what you're doing it's effective. I know of a bunch of people in the salon that uses Wella.

  • i want your hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so you have to like dye your hair every two weeks so the roots don't show right?

I would NEVER do that, dying your hair that blonde, like bleach blond is going to ruin your hair .. you prob look cute to with black hair .. this is just kind of fake .. :/ sry

    but you are cute though

  • faintsunrise- No, i try to do touch ups every month or two. Thanks :)

  • You should bleach your eyebrow`s:)

  • When it grows back, are you bleaching your hair 3 times again??.. Because I've got dark brown hair, I dont use a Bleach but I use 40 volume with blonde dye, and I'm almost as blonde as u, well a little darker, but still i dont need to bleach my hair everytime i want to do roots touch up. But im looking foward to have lighter blonde hair, but I'm scared about bleach (hahaha) and if you've got to touch up ur hair again with bleach every month... I just think that hair will be all ugly and dry..

  • bou245- No, no! When my roots grow in I only bleach it once. At first it appears even, but as it grows out in about 2 weeks you can see a slight tint of yellow. When I need to touch up my roots again (the following month), I go over the yellowness and the new growth. Usually two bleach sessions would do, as hair near the root bleach/dyes faster. I sometimes wait two months since my bangs cover my front roots, but it really depends if I have somewhere/someone to see or not.

  • heartbleedshope- heartbleedshope- Bleach may be used as a color remover, but a color remover is NOT bleach. Why would you bleach over previously dyed hair and virgin hair at the same time? You can do it, but it will be uneven.

  • Hair bleaching works by oxidizing the melanin molecule and lightens the hair. Bleaching can be done with oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide or an activator. Hair goes through different stages of lightening. From black, reddish brown, light orange red, gold orange, gold, yellow, and the palest yellow blonde. When you reach the desired level of lightness, you wash off the bleach, dry your hair and then deposit your selected hair color.

  • Color removers re moves sufficient tint for application of fresh color, but does NOT leave the hair pure white or lighten natural pigment. Therefore, it CAN NOT be used as a substitute for a bleach. Also, the one I recommended is ammonia free/bleach free.

  • And It will return your hair to its natural color if the color applied is darker than your natural shade. If the artificial color applied is lighter than your natural color, your natural pigment has been chemically lightened and although Color Oops will remove the artificial dye from your hair, ultimately your hair will be the chemically-lightened color. But that is NOT due to the color remover itself.

  • to heartbleedhope: I've mangaged to get color remover from sallys beauty supply and i'm not a licensed anything. of course your gonna say to go to salon. how else do you make your money?

  • Oh my god dude. are you a professional? obviously not with the way you're talking. I'm not even sure WHY that website is selling you goldwell products which are for PROFESSIONALS only. The rules you described made me LOL. You're so dumb!

  • oh! and i almost forgot. What about roots how do you touch up your roots? will it continue to damage my hair?

  • I died my hair dark dark brown about 3 months ago also.. and i want to make it platinum blonde unerneath my whole head so it kinda sticks out. Will the damage be really bad? Can I straighten my hair like after the bleaching?

can i swim in pool water? Thanks sooo Much!!

  • I love your hair! it goes great with you! Now I have a question, I dyed my hair really dark brown almost black 3 months ago and now I want to bleach it, maybe get a 7.1 color effect, do you think its possible?

  • ladypop69- Thanks babe :) Nothing is impossible! Use a color remover first and then proceed to bleach.

  • do NOT use a stripper or "color remover" then bleach your hair. Especially since i have a feeling you used permanent color to dye it black. Your hair will be damaged beyond belief! Plus bleach is already a color remover, why would you use both? But it doesn't matter anyways because color remover isn't even open for the public to buy in the first place. I'm a licensed cosmetologist. Believe me when i say there ARE impossibilities when it comes to coloring hair and also big no no's. Go to a salon.

  • do you find your hair is really damaged?

or is it still manageable if you follow these steps? =]

  • nikkiitupper- At first it's really rough and damaged-feeling. After awhile, my hair did improve and got better. Of course, It never gets as healthy as virgin hair, but it does get to a manageable state. I also use BioSilk and that makes my hair superrr soft! :)

  • Hey I even go to cosmetology school and the stuff you were saying was good for your hair. :] Awesome! I was thinking of coloring my blackish hair blond again because I miss it and I'm going to try the Goldwell for when I do it.

The pink looks cute, too! Love ittt

    You're super pretty, too! :3

  • lvciferr- thanks! it's a good reassurement when someone in the cosmetology field agrees! haha. my close friend who is a hairstylist hates my blond hair and always make me question my steps... =____=;

  • Hahaha! I think it's cute!

Oh I wanted to ask... is Goldwell bleach on or off the scalp bleach? thanks!

  • hey darling, i have a question, im going to a specialist cuz i dont wanna f*** off my hair. do you think i have to take 3 sessions with hair to get it blonde? my hair is dyed black so im really worried about it. so i need to like take good care of my hair for about a month right? like not brusing or teasing it rite? oh and also, it will start to fall out after i dye it? well hopefully you can answer me.

    thank you :)

  • stephgore1- It depends, really. When I bleach my dad's hair it only takes him 2 sessions to get it platinum. You need to take good care of your hair CONTINUOUSLY, not just for a month! But yes, it's in its most fragile state right after you've bleached it. You can brush, but use something like a paddle brush (nothing with really close bristles). Contrary to popular belief, bleach does NOT make hair fall out. It does damage it and case BREAKAGE, but will not cause you baldness.

  • hey layzeex, my hair is naturally a dirty blonde but i dye it every month or so with the box hair dye. i want my hair to be almost your colour but when i dye it the colour i want it my roots are always a yellow-ish colour. what do you recomend?

should i give up on the box brands?

  • smartiebear55- I don't recommend boxed brands because I haven't had any good experience with them. However, if you are having good results with it, then by all means continue the use! When you bleach it does it get to the color you like? It's just the roots that are yellow, right? Then maybe you should try buying an additional box and just bleach the roots after you're done with the full head application.

  • hi layzee i was wondering...if goldwell isn't available to me, what is another good brand og bleach and developer i can use?

  • prozacinstereo- Any bleach that is blue-based and can lift hair up to 7 levels. Another bleach for example, is L'Oreal quick blue or Clairol 7th stage. I can't speak of the quality or performance since I haven't had personal experience, but it should be able to work as well.

  • your so cute u have like an asian version of christina aguilera thing going on there lol its cute

  • its not hard n brittle or like easily tear lol?

  • xilixnicexilix- At first it does have a more rough texture and your hair will easily break. That is why I stress on the aftercare of your hair. If you take care of your hair after wards, with time, your hair will be soft and manageable again. :)

  • Hey Layzeex. Just thought that I'd say u have really nice hair. How long should I wait before bleaching my hair? I dyed it 2 wks ago and already I see roots. What's a good box brand? Plz respond. Thanx.

  • comedylvr26- Did you bleach it already, and you're wondering when you should bleach again? Or did you dye your hair and wondering how long you should wait before bleaching? I do my touch ups every 4-6 weeks. If you dyed it, I'd wait a month and then use a color remover to remove the dye and then bleach. I can't recommend any box brands, as I have not had any good experience with any.

  • nice tips on repairing it but like where would i buy this hot oil?

    and also

i love the way you talks lolz XD and omg my hair fell out a bit when i bleached like 4 months ago but it looked like alot but its rlly not :) but yeah ty for the upload :D

  • sanddevillover- You can buy Hot Oil almost anywhere, and it's really cheap. I'm not sure where you live, but CVS or any drugstore will have it. Also, some grocery stores sell it, like Giant. Sally's beauty has it too. Just go to the hair/dye section (where you'd buy your shampoo) and you should be able to find it around there.

  • ty :) and umm well fyi dont ever get the one step color and bleach thing i was skeptic of it and a friend got me to try it and it specifically said no pre bleaching required ...it lied lol

'n rage is a horrid brand ok yeha just warning ya

  • Your so gorgeous. I LOVE your hair.

  • OMG !!

thank you some much i'm going to try this because you do not know how much money i lost trying use dye & highlight kits.

  • I like your visual kei look. :)

wow i cant believe you got your hair that bright. you proved me wrong ;)

  • wow, nice hair. thanks - big help, im trying to make mine white again after dying it black...

  • would you do a bleaching your roots video pleaseo pleaseo please?

  • You have cool hair, but I don't like platinium haircolour.. It is just so fake..

I am Scandinavian, and we have naturally blonde hair! :D

  • Not to be offensive or anything, but you're the first asian person I've ever seen that looks amazingly beautiful with blonde hair!

  • :)thanks for info

  • Schwarzkopf..you pronounce the first part(Schwarz) like Schwarzerneger, Schwarz(=Black) and Kopf(=Head)the same as you write it..;)

p.s. tnx for uploading!!It really helped because I want to bleach and dye my hair.. ohh and tnx for the tips how to repair your hair^^

  • layzeex-i love your video and you are adorable (like tinkerbell)! anyhoo-just wanted to know if you use or can suggest any other type of toner?

  • whispurrz- Aw, thank you! :) I can only suggest the two toners (fanci full & igora iceflower) because those are the only two I have used for myself. I have heard however, Wella White Lady is a good toner too. I'm going to try that one next!

  • can you explain the hot oil? what are you supposed to do with it o.o do you just like boil olive oil :D?

  • It's a hair product that you can find at stores like Wal-Mart - just any store that sells hair products. I've never used it, myself, but my mother uses it and it makes her hair really soft and shiny. It's just like a liquid that gets really warm when you use it.

  • you look beaitufil with blonde hair! i love it!!..im trying to get that way...but i have bleached my hair two times...just weavd bleach in..and my hair is soo damaged..i have the dumb blonde reconstructive condidtioner on it now :(...poor hair..lol anything else you used to help get your hair back to soft and mmanagable

  • charlijosh- Try mixing a bit of Hot Oil and the Dumb Blonde reconstructor and apply it to your hair all over. Then take a shower cap and sleep in it. Rinse the next day- it'll leave your hair super soft!

  • wher did u buy these things?

  • canuhearus- click on the More Info link on the right side.

  • How damaging was the bleach?

  • SaraSlaughterrs- I'm not sure exactly how to answer that, but it was pretty damaged. You shouldn't do back-to-back sessions, it left my hair feeling really rough. If you're concerned, it's much better to do an application per week, it's better in the long run and your hair will feel much better. Also, aftercare will bring your hair back in tip-top shape :)

  • This girl is an angel... and just as sweet in real life.

  • Asians & Blonde hair do not match whatsoever.

  • oh really? because I think its adorable. :]

everyone has their own opinions. :]

  • I LIKE UR VOICE I DONT KNOW WHY ... XD

  • reminds me of the asian

    girl from america's next

    top modelv(the way you

    talk) :)

  • Where are you from? You have a cute accent

  • GetSome200h8- I live in Virginia. I never realized I've had an accent, haha :p

  • don't think you have an accent ^-^

well maybe gangsta language. O-O LOL

my cousin has that, but we both come from canada.. :P

  • you are pretty and you have pretty pretty hair lol

  • you are beautiful !! thanks sweet heart

  • when i had my hair platinum/white

i toned it using clairol professional 323D creme toner that is for extra-light platinum hair. it uses a blue-violet base that gets rid of all the yellow undertones and leaves it pretty white (after 3 sessions of bleaching--i went from black/dark brown hair to platinum blonde/white)

i alsoused "P" cool blonde color enhancing shampoo to maintain the white hair. the shampoo is a purple/violet color and it really helps. staying out of the sun does too :)

  • I bleached my hair once and it got so dried out and it felt like straw. why is that? any one please respond. thanx.

  • Love your hair. you are pretty

  • sh-wars-ko-pof

  • cupcake pink, =]

  • I loved how you told people not to use 40 volume for black or dark brown hair. People don't realize that 40 is rarely used in Salons.

  • ok i so love ur hair its like white i love it i want mine like that how do i get it that color i have dark hair

  • stipink- thanks, but I explained how to in my video :|

  • you are so cute :)

  • if you have bleached hair, i do reccomend Matrix bioloage. honestly, i use to use that on my hair and it kept my hair so smooth! and i was putting bleach in my hair ALL THE TIME! and to give it a greaet shine and it doesnt leave you greasy (unless u put to much on of course so go easy you only need a drop) is PAUL MITCHELL serum! it is amazing!

  • calihairstylist- Ah, I've got to try that! I've used some of Paul Mitchell products with success, so I'll be sure to give the serum a try! :)

  • oh you will love it! its perfect not heavy and smells great! it has never made me feel like it was to greasy!!! its perfect!

  • a good purple based shampoo that is affordable is SHIMMER LIGHTS! you can get that a a sallys or most beauty salons! it is affordable and works great. u may use it daily but i would reccomend every 2-3 days. depending on the level of your blonde, it will start to grab that purple and some people may not like that!(i love it (: )

but anyways, bed head as well as every other product always has a line special for whatever color you have! if you have color i wold recommend REDKIN ,

  • schwarzkopf is pronounced as "sjwarts-kopf" and its an "a" like in the british "can't" and an "o" as in "cought" (it's a german name) useless info maybe but whatever

  • You're explanation is very confusing.

  • This was for the pronouncation of Schwarzkopf for Suicicalphenomenom.

  • is that bed head product only for blonde shades ?

  • nope i got it and my hair is (still) as black as black can be :) don't know why they call it dumb blonde though ^^ on the package it says that it is for other hair colours as well...

i just started using it to get my hair ready for the abuse i'm about to commit to it :P

  • blond?? it looks moree like white!

  • I said 'as you can see, my hair is white now' in the video... that is considered platinum/white blonde to some, because i still have a yellowish undertone. of course when you bleach it yourself you can control how light you go :)

  • Very good video. :D I like your way of talking and you seem to "know how". And it was funny to see/hear that it could be difficult for English-speaking people to pronounce the German word "Schwarzkopf". XDDDD (I'm German lol.)

  • since you'd need to bleach 3 times, then would you need like more bleach than what is already provided?

    if that makes sense.. lol

  • bunnfbaby- Nope! The bleach powder amount provided is more than needed- whether you buy the 500g or 1000g can. I would recommend getting the 1000g can because its twice as much = you can bleach your hair and have more left over for touch up and its REALLY cheap! You wouldn't need to buy another one until at least 3 months later (depending on your length of hair). I just found on it on American Discount Beauty Supply (google it up) for 41$. That's a bargain!

  • if you have black hair and bleach it and then dye it blue straight after will it go a weird colour?

  • alestorm66- Nope. As long as your hair is an even blonde your blue should turn out just fine. And for blue, I don't think your hair needs to be SUPER blonde either.

  • Can you please made another video about hair ?

  • callonme24- I will be making another video about maintenance. I'm also working on more videos for makeup :) It just took so long because I lost my webcam and broke my camera, but I have a new one now!

  • Kool Layzeex I can wait to see it :P

  • do you wanna get bold? if you have black hair, just say black. if you bleach your hair for like 3 times it's byebye hair. i'm a good example i lost so many of my hair, now it's tiny and the bleached hair doesn't even want to get back black because it's just damaged.

so don't freakin tell everybody how to do it well, it's damaged however you do it.

  • aimandarijn- I have black hair & as you can see it's just fine. It's soft to the touch and I still have a full head of hair. If you want to get technical almost everything damages your hair. From blow-drying to even brushing it. OBVIOUSLY it damages your hair but if you have no knowledge whatsoever on how to go blonde & how to take care of your hair the right way then you WILL experience MAJOR hair loss.

  • Its peoples own decision to go blonde. It's never recommended, but if you do it at least I show them how to do it right!

  • would you recommend blue or white bleaching powder?

  • suicidalphenomenon- I'd recommend a blue based powder so it'd eliminate the orange brassy tones.

  • Thanks :D , your vid was a great help to me, bleached my hair before but then I had no clue at all what I was doing, so that turned out pretty horrible ^^, Thanks to you I think this time will be better :D

  • Thank you for sharing, I learned a lot, the only part that sucks, is that you do lose hair, I had platinum and black, I lost a lot of the blonde,so I stopped, but I really do miss my blonde hair, its expensive to keep up though after a while. But its a beautiful color. And looks beautiful when your make-up is all done up too.

  • are you gonna make more video

  • callonme24- yes, i'm still trying to work with my new camera to get the angles right c[:

  • u r so sweet (:

    i like ur video

  • mm how light does your hair have to be for you to use the toner??

  • amberischewy- It depends on what color toner you're using. But if you're trying to go platinum blonde and using a purple toner, then it has to be a very pale blonde. About the color of an inside banana peel.

  • hi layzeex, i love your videos and i cant wait to try this :D its helps a lot. i have a question it may be off topic but does it hurt to comb your hair back out after you tease?

  • Randomosity74- Nope, it doesn't hurt to brush it out. But you have to brush it out gently with a wide bristled brush/comb starting from the bottom, working your way up. Or you can just go straight in the shower and use a bunch of conditioner to work out the tangles :p

  • Im in love with you!

  • Thank you so much, this video is the best!! I bought all the products and did exactley what you said and my hair turned out really, really light blonde..Like gwen Stefani blonde (btw I'm naturally very dark brown) - Amazing! I would recommend anyone trying to go blonde to listen to this girl! You are legendary and your white hair is awesome! Much love xxxx ;-)

  • corinababe07- I'm glad it turned out good for you bby! Did you know that Gwen Stefani uses Goldwell herself? That's how I found out about this brand. I looked up what she used! :]<3

  • Look's great ..Well Done!!

  • your tips helped A LOT, I'll be going platinum blonde more into this year! I'll be going to a salon for the whole process but the products you said you use after really do help :)

  • Thanks for commenting back Layzeex.

    it was helpful

    =)

    along with your video

  • When I had black hair I used a color stripper called color oops and i did that twice then I bleached it about two times. When i bleached it, I mix conditioner with it also to keep it soft. I also recommend using Garnier Fructis Hair Mask every week. It works great :D

  • i love how you talk, like godfather type, i dont know. anyways i was going to do it myself, the bleaching, but i am going to ask around in prices, i am scared my hair will fall out.

  • can anyone tell me if her pink colour was permanent? i am dying my hair pink but i dont want it to turn out that ugly magenta shit color XD

  • tubetash- the pink isn't permanent. :)

  • ok so hears the deal..

    i think u r such a cool person urself..

but...u made to be a brunnette!

leave me a message or something in my inbox...

we can be friends or something!

  • she is beautiful either way :)

  • crazy..for some reason i also thought that if the bleach dried it wasn't as active as it should- do you do it wet then did u notice a change in your breakage? So goldwell have u used that bleach always? I need to go to the other store and see if they carry it in town but i saw redkin icing have you heard anything about that with black hair? and um do you do your oil treatments in your wet or dry hair....

  • thatshot0000- yep, when the bleach is dried it doesn't lighten your hair, it just makes it super dry and prone to breakage.

I've used drug department store bleach light Clairol, and have had no luck. I've only had success with Goldwell so far. I've heard of Redken Icing, but I have never used it so I can't tell you much about the results from personal experience. I do the hot oil treatments with wet hair.

  • um this is a dumb question..

but does hot oil help lighten your hair?

I've bleached my hair(so far its orange..I have no monet to spend on bleach right now) and I use hot oil..and it seems to have lighten it..

but I dont know if thats my mind playing tricks...

I'm trying to get my hair to go blonde ..

  • z0mbiexm0mmi- I have never heard of hot oil lightening hair. I just looked it up and this is what I found- "Hot oil treatments contain high acidic ingredients which will gradually fade hair dye. Also, shampooing with Prell, clarifying shampoos or liquid dish detergent with very warm water will help speed up the fading process."

So I guess it FADES hair dye, but I don't think it actually lightens hair. I always use hot oil and I've never notice it make my hair lighter.

  • Hey Lay :) Ok so, I have dark black asian hair, I want to dye it to a dark chocolate brown, now my friend is a hairdresser and she says I have to lift it first, which consists of bleaching I think,

So I need to bleach it first, then how long can I wait to put in the dark brown dye?

  • mikewilsontv- To be honest, I've never heard of bleaching to get a dark chocolate brown. If the color you're trying to go for is within 1-2 or even 3 shades, then usually you can just dye it by itself. For vibrant colors, like a red, then bleaching may be necessary. But I'm not a hairdresser :x So to answer your question- if you do bleach it, you can also dye it within the same day. But you don't need strong bleach. Anything in the drug department store is okay since your lift isn't much! :)

  • lift is not the same as bleaching. it's just to get your dark hair to let go of the very dark pigment it already has, you WILL need a lift, it's not bleaching. (all haircolor has some amount of "lift" in it unless it is just dye) if your hair is black you will DEF need to lift to change the color.

  • weird i never heard that i thought water made the bleach chemicals stop your roots are dry?....ya i got breakage where i backcombed it too lol i freaked out btw i checked out those extensions! way better than my Jessica Simpson ones! thanks for all the info my colorist doesn't know much about the dark hair/ bleach thin :) so i really appreciate all that info since i jumped before i really knew what was goin on haha

  • I learned about the wetting hair thing because when I bleached my dads hair, there was some breakage or just really damaged area's (usually around hairline) and its where the bleach got dry (while in process of bleaching). I asked my hair stylist friend about it and he told me a trick he uses is wetting the hair first, so if the bleach dries, it's still okay :) Thanks! I'm glad it was of some help. :)

  • I've had platinum hair for like three years now, it's all breaking away and i've only bleached it all over my head twice in all that time.

  • You have a lot of hairdying products. More then me and i have like drawers and drawers of the shit. xD

Your hairs nice. My white blonde SUCKS. D=<

  • so my natural color is quite light, but not blonde. Ive had my hair died black for about a year now and im wanting it to go back to my natural color but with using store bought dye, will i get the same results?

  • fragile555 - I don't understand what you mean by 'same results' if you're not trying to go blonde? If you want to go back to your natural color, use a color remover like Color Oops or Color Zap to remove the dyes.

  • i have black hair, how do i get to a golden brown?

  • My sister used a store bought brand of a golden blonde dye to get a light goldish brown. Her hair is borderline off-black/dark brown.

  • I came across your Page you Should Go into TV or Acting

  • oh yea :) hey so how long does it take you to do your retouch and your SO careful to jus do you roots.. any suggestions on that awesome thanks!

  • thatshot0000- I retouch every month. A tip on doing your roots...

I said in my video to bleach your hair 2-3 times to get it that shade. With your roots, you DON'T have to do it 2-3 times at once. I just bleach it once (it turns yellow) but it's not noticeable! As it grows out you WILL notice some yellow, but I wait till the next time I need a touch up, which is the following month, and then I do the regrowth AND go back over the yellow. It might also help to bleach it while your hair is wet.

  • how much hair do you think you lost during the process? Did you ever get breakage around the root area? how long have you been bleaching your hair? lol sorry so many ?'s

  • thatshit0000- I have had a lot of hair since I was little.. I shaved off half of it (to shave in the words LAYZEE on the bottom half) and when you held my hair in a ponytail compared to my sisters full head, mines was the same amount as hers. So to be honest, I don't notice much loss at all. I DID get breakage, but ONLY where I teased it, so I stopped teasing my hair every single day. I never got breakage at the root area though. I've been bleaching my hair for 2-3 years. :)

  • I am scared now, because i have dry hair and im afraid of it falling out. So i would have to use a moisturizer? Like everyday?

  • u should use deep conditioning treatments. And defienatly start using coconut oil, leave it in all day, then wash out.

  • Depending on how light you go. To go platinum is to drain out the natural colour of your hair aka bleaching,,,to go golden is to just colour over your own or lightly bleach.I have dirty blonde hair naturally and went platinum,,ALOT OF AFTERCARE!!purple shampoo to chop out brassiness, heavy conditioners dat block yer drain, serious breakage,If u hav black hair stay dat way. I love brunette hair.

  • If your hair is really dry and brittle currently, definitely do a couple of reconstruction treatments in your hair for a while first, do a couple of tests on your hair to see the strength, when you have more confidence in the strength of your hair, don't be too scared. I recommend to also add a bit of olive oil in the bleach mixture can't say which volume since I don't know what level lift you want to achieve. Hope this helps.

  • i like ur voice lol XD

  • u r my new idole!

  • you rule

  • I Had Black hair And Bleach it my Self Now , Its White . I Use Blondme Powder Bleach And 40 Vol Developer ,! It Works Great!

  • extentions? how long ago did u get those? are they weaved?

  • Ah, I didn't have the extensions in on any of my video's. I bought the Skin Weft extensions, which could be glued or taped in. I bleached it by itself first (not while on my head). :)

  • uHateBlackHair? iHaveBrownHair,,andIwantBlackHair,,Lol.

  • Zomg Perfect,I Hate My Black Hair So Thank You (: ! x

  • wow i didnt know you had to do all of this to it when you bleach it to that color. im planning to in about 4 days myself, but im wondering if all the products you named are available at sally's beauty supplies. i plan on buying everything there. btw this was a very helpful video :)

  • OMG, you are so sweet ;)

  • also are you supposed to wrap your hair in foil when the bleach is developing?

  • Marcellaesthetic- I bought my toner online. You only put it in foil if you're doing highlights. If not, there's no need to cover. If you use Goldwell's bleach, they recommend no additional heat (or caps worn during process). If you're doing highlights w/ foil, leave it on max 30 minutes, as it produces heat and will be really damaging to leave it on any longer. (my extensions literally BURNED when i used it with heat. it smoked up! so no heat ever!)

  • where can you get purple toner? I need it because last time i bleached my hair it turned orange ={

  • lol ur so bubbly, i love that

  • hahaha u remind me of me when i bleached my hair i would give the same tips n shit.

    except for the oils

wht oils are you talking about?

  • does it really work on black hair??

because i want to dye my hair half pink half platnium blonde and i went to the hair salon to do it but they told me my hair was to dark and the only way to get my hair how i want it is to lighten my hair to an blonde like yours on the vid ive always dyed my hair black for the past 3years and now i want to change and people tell me once i go black i cant go back and yea so i just wanted to know

  • You can, but many stylists wont agree to take black hair to platinum blonde in one visit. I have a friend who does hair and he told me he could had gotten me to this blonde but over a matter of months, and my hair wouldn't had gotten as damaged (through highlights, slowly going all-over). You have this option, or, if you're impatient like me, do what I did in the video. However, you should use a color remover like Color Zap or Color Oops so you can get an even bleach. :)

  • im really scared of all my hair falling of though???

but i really want a change

so what if i lighten my hair first

then do what you did but in the process of a couple of days because months ill go crazy

    and just do that

do you think that will damage my hair a lot????

  • Just this morning I got told the same thing by my hairdresser, but another thing she said to me was, was that If you keep coming back over the process of a few days they can bleach it completly but its really damaging to your hair, today im just opting for a cut and getting roots done, but Im asking about it some more tomorrow when I go, and Im getting it Done!

  • please ask how much they charge to do it???

and how much will your hair get damage if you do do it?

i really want to change my hair color to this i will do anything lolz

    how dark is your hair???

  • scribbles87- ask who how much they'll charge to do it? the salon? they will charge you 100+, but of course depending on your length and your current hair color. when my hair was a bob cut right below my chin, it cost me over 200 dollars, and it wasn't even platinum blonde. this WILL damage your hair a lot- bleach isn't something you mess with if you don't know what you're doing. that's why the AFTER care is super important in platinum blonde hair.

  • My hair is in great shape now. It's manageable, stronger, and soft to the touch, but it will take some time before it gets like that (like i said in the video, about a month). It gets worst before it gets better, (and trust me it will!) but it will NEVER feel as silky-smooth as virgin hair again.

  • So I was there today and she said that it take three time of bleaching your hair to a light-ish blondie colour and after that you can go and use a blonde dye. I asked her that but Im actually dying mine pink cause anything goes over blonde.

My particuler hairser says it wiil cost 50euros a time. I pressume your from the states so sorry I cant help you much there. =/

  • omg! ur hair looks radd! i tryed to bleach the top of my hair and it did work but its kinda yellowish & i want to dye it hot pink

:( can someone plz tell me what to do?????

  • use toner. it'll take the yellow out so that it's an ashy colour. then dye with the pink dye ^^

  • what kind and where can you get it? because i have jet black hair and i'm planning to have the top layers blonde but whenever i bleach it it turns orange
