Most people here dont know the real meaning of the word "ACTING"..[These fellows have even polluted the mind of Rajni and have made him speak like this].

Here,kamal is called as "BEST ACTOR";Rajini is called as "BEST ENTERTAINER";

But only if an actor acts well,the audience will get entertained;or else they will get bored;

So,the "BEST ENTERTAINER" has to be the "BEST ACTOR".

Kamal can be called as "BEST HARD-WORKER","BEST GET-UP CHANGER";but not "BEST ACTOR"...

@niyaazkhan No mate your getting it wrong. To "Entertain" the audience, you don't have to act well (necessarily). If people get what they want to see, that it called entertaining. If an audience wanted to see a film where the actor would have 10 fights that is called entertaining as the audience are "fed" what they want. So entertaining aint acting!! I am a huuuge Rajni fan, however one shouldnt talk nonsense! Kamal will always be the "Best Actor" Rajni will always be "Best Entertainer".

@niyaazkhan Entertainer and Actor are not the same. Actor means someone who can transform himself convincingly into any character of different human beings. For example talking like a fireman with the correct madras accent and mannerisms (MMKR) or like a flawless master of various classical indian dances (Salangai Oli) or as a mentally challenged man with infatuation for a woman (Guna). Not many people could finish Guna but everyone praised his acting. Rajini cant!

Punch dialogues, walking with thousand cinematic effects, dancing is called acting? Acting is a professional field, whereby delivering the performance is based on how to get into the character, not by being a saint. Please make your homework on 'lively ACTING'. Thanks

bhai,changing ur get-up,keep crying is not "LIVELY ACTING"......the way you potray naturally and effectively is "LIVELY ACTING".....and for that,its not necessary to change get-ups.....and thats where rajni is better than kamal....and as far as puch-dialogues are concerned,rajni is a charismatic actor with amazing sctreen-presence....so,those build-ups will suit him....and since kamal is a goyaan,it wont suit him...
