the thing is they call loads of girl bands the most sucessfull...yeh they had the most top 10s but spice girls and destinys child are the TOP SELLING... GA album sales are minimal worldwide compared to DC and SG who sold like 55/60 million...GA have got a looong way to go before they sell 60 million albums...they are not the most sucessful girl band ever although i do like them...its not a fact though

It depends on how you measure and define "success". The Spice Girls sold truck loads of records but they fizzled out quickly after their second album. Their third was a flop. Destiny's Child also sold tons of records but had almost as many personnel shifts as the Sugababes. Then they broke up so Beyonce could have her solo career. Girls Aloud have had more chart success than either group and still have all their original members six years after their first single.
