  • Really well executed shoulder block by Wrath. Made it look really powerful and stiff.

  • According to the "announce team" the match didn't start til 4 mins in....pathetic.

  • This is a great video promoting Goldberg v. Bam Bam and the Nash issue. I wonder if they realized there was a wrestling match breaking out before the 4 minute mark.

  • Wrath used to be ADam Bomb in WWF before this

  • Renegade used "Marvelous" Marc Mero's theme back then.

  • @crabman66606 Yeah, it was kinda humorous hearing both guys using the theme at the same time in different promotions. Surprised WWF would use such generic stock music for a pushed guy like Mero, even back then. A year earlier, the WWF was using Luger's theme on the commercials for their hotline. I assume it was intentional.

  • Wrath was a beast

  • wow O_o

  • I like it xDDD

  • I miss the WCW style commentary.

  • Renegade was superior in ability to the Warrior. R.I.P....

  • Wrath was a beast, even before he changed his look and was still helping Mortis. Should have been at least a U.S. Champ. R.I.P Renegade.

  • wtf the Meltdown was SO AWESOME!!...

  • tonight , the houston texans? wtf is he talkin about?

  • Damn. That's one hell of a slam.

  • I remember thinking Wrath would be the one to beat Bill Goldberg.

  • I thought he was going to or damn near come close until that blood sucking cancer nash came into play!

  • @mister38 I thought the same thing. I remember when they had the match it was pretty good.

  • @ JackJeckel, No, this was after The Renegade character was basically exposed for what it was by Jimmy Hart. After the match with Kevin Sullivan, he began wearing this outfit and jobbed 99% of the time

  • @ efan64 nah nobody could have saved that company. the wrestlers were being paid FAR too much money and that was the biggest problem that ultimately led to the destruction of wcw.

  • @ff6rox That, and EVERY single storyline (damn near it) revolved around the nWo in one way or another.

  • was this before renegade put on the makeup?

  • now these were some of the best days of wrestling bring back wcw

  • Renegade and marc mero had the same theme, but in seperate companies lol

  • i used to really enjoy watching "wrath" as a kid.. shame he never captured the gold..

  • When they let him really perform, Rick Williams was every bit the wrestler in real life that Jim Hellwig was in his own mind.

  • R.I.P died cause he commited suicide one reason everbody saying is because he was depressed caused he was released

  • Bryan Clark was very mis-used and underrated in WCW and in WWF. he was definitly better than Hogan, Nash etc. all those backstage politicans.

  • @Cosmic86x yeah, I agree with you, but nash is a better wrestler than hogan skill wise alot are better than hogan. he just got popular somehow and thats how he's so popular. wrath would for sure beat hogan if it came down to skill. nice post man.

  • Whats the name of Renegade entrance theme. Someone tell me please. Thanks in advance.

  • @144Delta hey buddy its marc mero's theme from wwf back in the day youtube it its on here

  • @therko27 . Thanks much Bro.

  • @therko27 . Thanks much Bro.

  • Bryan looked socute even with the yellow contacts as Adam Bomb.. .pretty cool facebook buddy too! :-)

  • OMG, the renegade is a male stripper with Mark Meros WWF music.

  • In my opinion, the Renegade (or should I say THIS Renegade) DOES NOT LOOK LIKE the Renegade that was managed by Jimmy Hart! What happened to his Ultimate Warrior "clone" gimmick?

  • wrath was a legendshould have been a main eventer no doubt

  • dude all you haters bout renegade suk it!!!!

  • Wrath was epic.

  • @Kontkaalnes WCW had a monster on their hands and he was getting over huge. So, Kevin Nash's idiot ass had him squashed by Nash himself in a match and the heat was gone.

  • @Blackson187 totally agree wrath was on a roll after me left james mitchell and mortis. course mortis got successful later with ddp and bam bam. anyways your right kevin nash screwed wrath.

  • WCW was stupid for giving the wrestlers the ability to write the story lines. It absolutely sucked. but renegade was great.. I thought he was better than warrior.

  • @MindMMaster LOL watch his match with Kevin Sullivan in 1995 and his TV title match with Paul Orndorff and you'll see how bad he was at times.

  • Notice Renegade's theme song? That's the same theme song that was used by Marc Mero in WWF era in 1998.

  • Awesome finisher

  • Wrath was awesome. WCW was way better than WWE.

  • @fanofnothingface in 1998??? r u serious?

  • should have been wrath vs goldberg, undefeated streak vs undefeated streak

  • More like ReneGAYde

  • I forget what he called that finisher ... o yeah the meltdown.. bryan clarke did recieve a lot from pro-wrestling.. i wonder who was his best opponent, tag team partner and manager was?

  • wrath aka the wwf adam bomb

  • What an insult to the wrestlers in the ring to spend almost the entire match talking about another feud.

  • Did the announces sell this match AT ALL? They hardly made two sentences regarding what was going on in the ring and spent the whole time selling the shitty PPV

  • Renegade looks like an idiot.

  • rip renegade

  • yo both these guys are dead......RIP both u guys

  • @TheHeelHook Wrath (Bryan Clark) is not dead.

  • @TheHeelHook wrath aint dead. Crush is dead.

  • is this the same renegade that played te knockoff version of ultimate warrior? i only ever saw this renegade on tv. didn't like him

  • @crazyfool619 - The very same Renegade.

  • Wrath was the first wrestler I seen use the pumphandle slam.

  • why did renegade have the same theme music as marc mero??

  • I had no idea Wrath was also Adam Bomb in WWF. I like Wrath better. He was a badass.

  • wow WCW songs sucked

  • is the renegade the ultimate warrior

  • @miniblacky123 no the renegade died ultimate warrior is alive

  • Wrath should have stepped over the top rope when he was wrestling. The dude is huge.

  • @tiatrips Touche...but then again, anything/anyone is better than Triple H.

  • What the hell did they do to the Renegade?

  • @likintrubb lol this might be because Warrior came to WCW in 1998 so they dropped Renegades gimmick

  • The fans did pop for The Meltdown

  • @AussieCop1987 wrestling is FAKE

  • @PuttyNathan kronk/wrath and mortis (mortis was chris kanyon under a mask)

  • @Rollermacka nash also booked himself to end both wrath and goldbergs streaks wrath for a short time looked like the next break out star until nash was given control of everything

  • Wow, Wrath pretty much destroyed Renegade with ease.

  • the renegade looks quite gay. not that there is anything wrong with that.

  • Atom Bomb?

  • This is why WCW went broke, the announcers spent 90% of this match talking about Kevin Nash. This was a decient match but once Nash took over, Nitro revolved almost soley around him

  • Check out 0:19 - HHH stole the water fountain from Wrath...!

  • @thadanzwiggler Wrath did it better whenever he used it though. Triple H flexing is as big as Wrath without flexing.

  • Wrath is a bad mother fucker

  • Wrath was SO under-rated. Should've been used against Hogan, etc.

  • totally agree...he was one of my fav in old wcw

  • @CadillacL i liked Wrath at this time.

  • @Stovokor41 He was great wasn't he? Nobody seem to know how to use him. Easily could've ran for the title.

  • @CadillacL Hell yea, man. Wrath was always one of my favorites.

  • @CadillacL Not only was Wrath under-rated but so was Renegade. I think that they could have used him as Ultimate Warriors prodguie and they could have put him over a lot more. Lets face it he was a great wrestler and it is a shame that he felt he had to kill himself because how they treated him.

  • @fireheartis1 Yea, Renegade's suicide stunned me. When he first came to WCW, he had makeup, I thought he WAS Ultimate Warrior. Wrath deserved to be world champ.

  • @CadillacL I agree Wrath should have been World Champ, and Renegade should have been treated as his own enity when the real Ultimate Warrior showed up. If this would have happened we would have him still with us today.

  • @CadillacL His push was ruined when Goldberg's push became the biggest story running in WCW.

  • @ManiacCraniac his push was ruined due to injury

  • @supercholoman I see, I didn't realize. I still blame Goldberg though, because he is a convenient target :)

  • Wrath was definitely one of my wcw favourites.

What was the name of the tag team he was in, in wcw? Can't for the life of me think what it was.

  • I think you're referring to KroniK

  • @PuttyNathan It was Kronik

  • @PuttyNathan or wrath & mortis

  • Wrath was the man. He could have saved WCW if they kept him from losing to Kevin Nash.

  • his theme opens with the beginning of Van Halen's Running With the Devil

Wrath's face run was great, he was mega over. Should of won at least the US title instead of that abomination of a tag team called Kronik.

  • Wrath was verrrrrry over! crowds loved the guy - he was one of the few big men i really could get behind, everything said in these comments about him are spot on!

  • WRATH was fucking money, I can't believe they blew it with this guy by feeding him to Kevin Nash before he ended Goldberg's streak. The worst thing was that Nash made the Wrath match look like a walk in the park.

    Oh WCW.

  • can anyone not take a joke he looks like Joe Millionaire

  • Your wrong. Wrath is Bryan Clark

  • Renegade's music sounds like Marc Mero when he was in WWF.

  • Man that is totally the theme Marc Mero used after his first them in WWF.

  • Renegade commited suicide in 1999 - he was 34 yrs old

  • Its sad how things happen which effect good people so much to make them go that way.

  • just saw wrath on an episode of mortal kombat konquest

  • wrath was way underrated. he should have had a much bigger role in WCW.

  • I was just saying the same thing to myself

  • What you mean is that Bryan Clark was underrated. Maybe it was something behind the ring that made a blockbuster for him?

  • yea thats his real name but when he wrestled as wrath he should of had a bigger role in WCW. he was going to have a shot at the WCW championship till kevin nash started bitching that he wanted the title shot. so guess who got the title shot. yep thats right nash did. the way WCW used Wrath remindes me of how WWF used Test for the first 5 years he was in the WWF. they didnt use him to his full potential either.

  • Test got to Fuck Stacey Kiebler... He's a winner in my book! RIP!

  • Yes Wrath was underrated.

  • Renegade rest his soul

  • Wrath better as Adam Bomb in WWE.

  • Comment removed

  • Wrath's theme was legit. Not sure about Renegade's but that was Wrath's actual music at the time.

  • realized that later; in which case, what a weak theme!

  • that match wasn't to bad.

  • renegade looks like a gay male stripper with attitude

  • is this what gay male strippers look like? you obviously know so i guess it is

  • Truth is, he was a male stripper prior to working in Pro Wrestlin.

  • Well he was a stipper at one time

  • @Dez29302 He WAS a male stripper.

  • @Dez29302

Actually that's what the Renegade was a male stripper that Bischoff hired under Hogan's urging

  • @Dez29302 lol he was a real stripper in real life

  • @Dez29302 with attitude lol

  • @Dez29302 He actually was a stripper. Gay? Not sure. But he did kill himself, so attitude, yea =)

  • bryan clark always moved so well for a big man. Really light on his feet with great balance. So much talent

  • Its a shame he dose not wrestle anymore. Man to have a 12 year wrestling career.

  • Marc Meros theme in WCW?

  • No he doesn't>R.I.P Rick "Renegade" Williams

  • renegade looks like raven here...

  • wrath could of been big wish they did more with him

  • Kanyon was also better as mortis(Wrath's tag team partner when they first started)

  • yeah i was a big fan of wrath he was even on mortal kombat konquest (tv show on TNT)

  • goldust is the scariest!

  • Wow, the commentators have such bad ADD... couldn't focus on the match at all! Also, it's a shame that WCW built up Wrath for so long and did nothing with him.

  • The announcer pay Absolutely NO attention to the match at hand. Their too worried about Nash and Goldberg

  • anyone notice that renegade theme is the same one marc mero used in wwf?

  • Man I thought I was the only one that noticed it.

  • Vince made Wrath Adam Bomb in the WWF- i don't know how he could have mismanaged him. He was a big guy with potential.

  • Who knows HOW Vince conducts business? THIS is why I DON'T WATCH TODAY'S WWE.

  • Wrath in WCW = OVER

  • They should've done so much more with him!

  • Thought Brian Clark had all the making of a monster champion.

  • Meltdown is probable one of the coolest moves ever

  • why is wraths logo on his chest blared out

  • Wrath, I think was probably one of the most underrated wrestlers in WCW. He definitely put up great matches.

  • i remember watching wcw just to watch wrath...he was soooo dam cool

  • Whoa, that was Marc Meros theme!!

  • Adam Bomb rules.

  • not a great wrestler, but still, R.I.P. The Renegade

  • Wrath was one of my favorite wrestlers in that late 90's WCW days. It's funny that Brian Clark (Wrath) said it himself that Kevin Nash made WCW stop his push so they could put Nash over him on Nitro. I also thought that if WCW would have stuck around, Kronik would have been an even bigger name in tag team wrestling.

  • did u see their match against undertaker and kane?

  • Yes I did and actually he spoke about it in a recient interview. He talked about how he had a pinched nerve in his back and Kane was still recovering from a staph infection and a blown bicep so considering how both men were pretty hurt they did the best they could.

  • We can all agree..Wrath was good.

  • Shit the Renegade looks like a mongoloid.

  • Marc Mero left WCW back in 1996 and never came back. Marc Mero was in the WWF from 1996 to 1998 around in November. Marc Mero's music is used a lot, especially in commercials that has nothing to do with wrestling.

  • yea its fre rights anyone can use it like the hardys them

  • So I'm the only person that remembers "Renegade" Marc Mero? Why do you think he did that cartwheel in this match. A big guy like Rick Williams never had that in his arsenal. Marc Mero was the kind of highflyer that could do that.

  • Domino, I remember well. It was right after his wife, Sunny, posed in Hustler. WCW figured they'd better act quick. "THIS IS THE GREATEST RENEGADE IN THE HISTORY OF OUR SPORT!" Tony would shout.

  • Come on now, no need to poke fun. Check wikipedia though if you guys don't believe me. Obviously he looked different because they made him up to look like the old Renegade, but that's him.

  • wat is up with Wikipedia. EVERYTHING on there isnt fact. Probably most of it isnt fact

  • mero and renegade = 2 different person believe me

  • @chriscfgb sable

  • Marc Mero never returned to WCW in 1998. He was never the Renegade. Mero still had his contract with the WWF back in 1998. Marc Mero never had that body size. Wikipedia (even though it's unreliable sometimes) doesn't say nothing about him being Renegade. Rick Williams passed away in February of 1999.

  • @domino324 Thats not Marc Mero. Marc Mero signed with wwf in late 1996 and was the WWF IC champ. Im not sure how both companies could use the same theme music, which was produced by Johnston wwfs music creator. wCw must have purchased it or used it illegally, not sure

  • That is not true. It does explain why two different companies are using the same music. There was never a second Renegade...thank god, haha

  • Why is the Renegade's music the same as Marc Mero's 1997 music in WWE??

  • In 1998, Marc Mero jumped to WCW and became the Renegade after the original man died.

  • wrath was INTENSE - not that this highlighted it lol poor rick williams though... this was almost as silly as Steven Richards vs Tyson Tomko

  • Adam Bomb?

  • Love Wrath but match was poorly done, up until the meltdown...love that move

  • The best! quite easily!

one side note though, isn't it interesting how the announcers in wcw would talk about absolutely everyone on the planet EXCEPT the 2 guys in the ring for 95% of the match.

  • Hogan's celebrity championship wrestling is--

    What about WCW announcers?

  • lol, nice
