I'm just going to say it. This DOES NOT work. Beck's style conflicts too heavily with Hope's. It's just like listening to Beck, with someone talking occasionally in the background. Nice try, but this just does not sit well at all.

Haha thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The two songs were basically perfect for each other, with almost the same tempo and the same key. So it was an easy, easy mix. I know what you mean about mashups too - they're pretty easy to make, and I can't say that it takes an amazing amount of creativity to work with other people's music (although I'm biased towards respecting those who do, all the same =D)
