I watched the DVD last night, I enjoyed it, there were some subtitle mistakes though, and I would have enjoyed it more if it had been dubbed or made in English. That said, it was still enjoyable and I would say it is worth seeing, if you haven't already. Thank you.

what if i wanted to buy the movie with the more federation looking ships. they redesigned ones dont look all that great. which one would i get. this is new to me, and not many of us from canada have even heard of it

Love the series, but it did breaks my heart to see the Omega destroyer models replaced with erm...the 'Ikea' versions (for want of a better descriptions).  Definite improvement on the Star Trek side though.

Then what did he mean by sovereign? Unless it is "mirror universe" class wich is basically the same exept name!

@TheShadowwolf88 "Sovereign" is the name of that class (shape/style) of vessel. For instance, the TOS Enterprise (NCC-1701) was a Constitution class, and the TNG Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) was a Galaxy-class.

This looks awesome, but I must say that I was disappointed to see in the trailer that they converted to more original models. They do look great, but I prefered them with the actual Star Trek and B5 models that they were using. That said, if it is an american release, I can see why there was a change.

Because now they fit the film better, looking more "russian". And it gave Universal a extra motivation to release the film, since it had something new.
