  • Great song and production by Nile Rodgers! Nice views too!

  • I am trying to trackdown the bit where david is being chided by Ray charles and he plays hit the jack.. superb series and really needs repeating, with the Dr Sousse dialogue - ha.

  • I'm with ya Free2Be. I was there too. I always loved the intro to Moonlighting because of this song. Found it on Napster b-4 they got shut down. Now it is available on one of Al's greatest hits CD's. The only thing different is that the Sax is missing (bummer). It was replaced with tinny sounding keyboard melodica thing. Great memory! Thanks for sharing.

  • I feel like im on cloud nine whenever I hear this mans voice singing!!!:)

  • Al, you're awesome, and I always love listening to your voice. I was born in Milwaukee and actually delivered packages to your relatives during my UPS days.

I would fly in January to Vegas to hear you perform. NEVER a disappointment bro.

Love you from since the 80's.

  • Al Jarreu you are the all!!

  • Love it!!!!!! Thank you xx

  • BRILLIANT! love it. Tnank you

  • I do, Moonlighting!

  • This is the theme song to MOONLIGHTING.... Possibly the best weekly show I had ever seen. I never watch TV anymore... except for the news... because they don't have ANYTHING on parallel to this show.... or this tune.. for that matter!

  • Holy shit! The theme to Moonlighting!!!!!! I was stuck having to watch that show with my mom as a child... 32 now, however the song brings back memories... crazy. Al is the best!

  • Al Jarreau - a great vocalist! Really enjoyed the show when it aired and really like the song.

  • I love the music of Al Jarreau

  • The first twenty seconds of this classic are my favorite!

  • @SDBugg Not at all this was the show that started Bruce Willis' career. Great song and you just new that Bruce was going to be a huge star and soon after he filmed the Die Hard and it was all over after that, one of the True Action Hero's were born. Man were the 80's the best music ever.

  • Sinatra,Johnny Mathis,Pavarotti,Nat KING Cole,Luther,Domingo? No,200yrs from now Al Jarreau will be remembered as The" VOICE" of twentieth century, maybe even the twenty first!

  • does anyone know where is the repeat button?

  • This song could be the 80's anthem for me.I wish I could return to that decade.

  • Nah. I Remember it. Bruce Willis was young as hell.

  • Who Remember The 80's Show With the Same Title? This Song Was the Theme Song to the Show. It Starred Cybil Shepherd And Bruce...Never Mind, I Guess I'm the Only One Who's Old Enough to Remember It (LOL)

  • @Free2BeCG1 im 25 but my grandmother raised me so i wached all the good shows it was moonlighting i miss those days

  • @Free2BeCG1 Yes, the show was Moonlighting with Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard. I loved it.

  • @Free2BeCG1 I remember it. Cybil's name was Maddie and it was a great show. Launched Bruce Willis's career. He gave a note to Cybil Sheppard, "To my first leading lady."

  • @Free2BeCG1 I remember Moonlighting I used to love that show!! And I so dont claim being old...lol

  • @Free2BeCG1 No, you're NOT!!! Besides, it's a beautiful song, sung beautifully! Even the kids today with tin, damaged ears should enjoy it -- quality music for a change!!!

  • @Free2BeCG1 You`re not alone....I remember it well

  • @Free2BeCG1 I remember it. It was great! Cybil and Bruce had so much chemistry, possibly more than Luke and Laura. Classy, charming, funny, and endearing show. They don't make them like that anymore.

  • @Free2BeCG1 I've just started to see it today :P even if I saw it like 4 or 5 times :))) so, you are not the only one who's old enough to remember it...and I'm only 23

  • @gustavocantolao yeah central park 11pm Is DEADLY romantic

  • The three people who disliked this video don't believe in romance.

  • Great Piece...interesting-sophisticated. Jarreau can paint a song!

  • The warmth of Mr.Jarreau!

  • lovely song, very relaxing!

  • This was written for the show, Moonlighting, starring Cybil Sheppard and Bruce Willis. Beautiful song.

  • GREAT FUCKING PICS SPLENDED CHOICE OF SONG

  • Well although it wasnt written by Jarreau it has a classic trade mark arrangement so peculiar to him! The triangle in the first few seconds is inspired mixing!! :)

  • @timsaxstanfield The song was written by Al Jarreau and Lee Holdridge.

  • The song is too good for a television show. I love classic t.v. themes, don't get me wrong, but this is a cut above. Besides, it's a full length song, not 30-45 seconds.

  • So goooddd !!!!!

  • fab song

  • 1:46. Brooklyn Bridge? Also the one at 2:00 the same thing?
