December is now. I love how sentimental I let myself get this time of the year...everything's associated with something around the soltice for some reason.
1/2 sorry kirbymaster555 but you are wrong in your comment because these guys have potential to be HUGE but they would never sell themselves out to the world!! they are comfortable with winnipeg and Canada. I love the weakerthans loved um forever and it seems to always happen that when a small band breaks into the big times the quality of their music becomes worse.
2/2 Look at Weezer for instance if you go back to their blue album(which rocked) and look at that opposed to their new stuff you will find they aren't nearly as organized and have that good rock sound.
O and by the way i love John's shirt here it's a C'MON shirt they just rock like no ones buisness. I just saw them at the Royal albert if anyone lives in Winnipeg and is cultured and looks at this.
i've listened to the reconstruction cd like a zillion times now, and i'll probably play it a zillion times more. if my math is correct that would be like a twoonie zillion times or thereabouts.
Unfortunately that is the only CD I own by them and it is amazing. That's the only CD I can pop in and let play all the way through and be happy about it.

Nice, thoughtful, and intellectual as well as musical. Reminds me of John Donne.

"I struggle, stop to stop, to stop thinking of you"
the alliterations in Samson's lyrics are profound, and unmatched in Canadian indie rock.

The first thing I noticed is that John's wearing the same shoes as he was the day I met him.
God I love this band.
