  • this is insane, I didn't know that Flyleaf had their own version of my fave song.

  • Quit shaking the damn camera

  • Can someone tell me how popular they really are, like I'm serious.& I just started listening to them and I can imagine if they are or are not that popular

  • @jimmie481000 it really depends on who you talk to, but they're fairly popular in the rock scene. they've been off the radar for a while because the singer had a baby, but I'd imagine they're going to get popular again within the next few years. :) hope this helped

  • WHO CAN DISLIKE THIS???!?!?!??!! UGHHH!!!

  • @BoldRevelation o I'm sorry I've only heard David crowder band and flyleaf and skyhook sing it and ik skyhook was fairly new so it wasnt theirs thanks for the correction

  • Is this a joke? Why cover John Mark McMillan's song unless you actually have an interesting take on it. But adding more distortion, crash cymbals, and yelling while doing absolutely nothing original is just bad. Write something decent yourselves

  • @micahpoe Have you ever checked out flyleafs songs? They're incredible, go listen!

  • @micahpoe I get what you're saying. The original is so far above anything else that I've heard, especially that last verse that McMillan cries through. I'm not an emotional guy at all, but that got to me a little bit. Although I don't really mind this version so much. I think they are doing it because they love the song and not because they are trying to steal it like freaking Crowder.

  • They need to just make a CD that purely says JUST FOR GOD. im tired of those ignorant people who continue to say their music is not for HIM.

  • How he loves by David crowder band she has a beautiful and an awesome testimony she worships the one tru GOD!! Utterly amazing

  • @trv233 its by John Mark Mcmillan not Crowder.

  • God I couldnt watch this- I mean damn do you have issues holding your camera? It made me so dizzy, worse than the tea-cups haha I love flyleaf- but next vid. Please hold your camera like still please haha

  • everything that flyleaf does IS worship. to think otherwise is blindness

  • @stonemarie

Yeah a lot of their songs are about God/Jesus, but they don't all actually say God or Jesus in ALL of them, so you can apply whatever belief you want to them. They themselves have stated that they don't want people to consider them just a Christian band.

  • Amazinggg! Iheard a interview they had on jctv about how when they have shows they don't preach, but they doo even through their songs!

  • Good band. Amazing song. But they don't go together.

  • @blaylock152 Explain?

  • My favorite band doing my favorite song.. I am touched. I cannot belive how amazing this is.

  • wow! I did not picture Flyleaf playing a worship song before. this is just amazing! I love it.

  • Yes they could make a worship CD, but GOD is using them to reach certain crowd of kids. Thus they continue to do what they are doing. They are doing what they are called to do. :)

  • might see them this year C:

  • dang hold the camera still it's making me dizzy...

  • Ho-lee cow! That is freaking amazing!

  • but im a little bit concern about who they are worship to........are they really worshiping Jesus?or they are worshiping Satan though this song???

  • @ispollytong seriously?

  • @zekeanator2 just asking.....

  • @ispollytong Satan doesn't acquire love for us, he doesn't have righteous jealousy, mercy, or grace as the lyrics of the song say. and at 3:12 she says "Jesus." this song is explaining His, (JESUS') love for us (:

No worship for Satan here, darling (^_~)

  • @ispollytong Why would she be singing to Satan when they are Christians?

  • @ispollytong Christian song. They play it at church. So you think about it. Common sense

  • On the "sloppy wet kiss" discussion: I've had this with several people and I'm on the ANTI-side of the discussion. From a song-writer's perspective, I think it's just really not appropriate for the song. I understand the sentiment behind it, but you have this extremely emotional song that brings people to the foot of the cross in worship, and then you can't tell me that you don't find your mind distracted every time that line comes up. I think Lacey recognized that & found a much better line.

  • @sketchhog I like the sloppy wet kiss version better because it shows this complete abandonment the Father has for me. Like the story of the prodigal son... I don't find it taking away but adding to the song. I think it is just personal taste. Some couples like to French kiss and others don't. I am an open-muthed kisser so it just makes sense that is how I would worship God.

  • I like her but, I love how david chowder sings this song ;/ but she's still amazing *thumbs up*

  • god she's awesome!

  • loved it until "sloppy wet kiss" was substituted. What is so bad about that lyrics that makes people change it?

  • @firstprescasagrande: for me it brings to mind a weird mental picture for worship, like a dog slobbering n my face (which i cant stand). "Unforseen kiss" is a much better mental picture.

  • @dwolfggc John Mark explains it by saying that the miracles Jesus performed were rarely "clean" or came the way we expected them to come. Like spitting in dirt and rubbing it in a mans eyes.

    I love the original lyric.

  • UUUHHHHHH!! I LOVE IT

  • Praise God that Flyleaf is not ashamed to show that they are in love with their Savior! In a world where so many people will hide their love for Jesus if they think it will get them more worldly success it is wonderful to see people who stand firm on the Truth and share it with others.

  • @faithhopelove4ever Yes because atheists have it so good in todays world.

  • I got dizzy watching this its a great song but the camera moved alot

  • great sound quality!!! :=

  • =)

  • definitely not the right note that the lead guitarist tried to play at 1:23?

  • you'd think the guy could hold the camera just a little bit more still?

  • this is my favorite one.

  • Can Flyleaf just make a Worship CD....like.....NOW? haha.

  • @McNuttification YES! PLEASE.. <3

  • @McNuttification heck yeah, my youth group would be singing those songs woohoooo. we already did Beautiful bride in church:)

  • great performance!

  • Get the audio from this tune at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • you guys should listen tto My Epic a band with 2 amazing Cd's related to Him :)

  • fly leaf writes/covers amazing, catchy songs, along with another new christian band Red Letter Hymnal. They all have awesome stuff on youtube

  • nice

  • wow.....this is heavy

  • THEY RECORDED IT!!!!

IT'S ON ITUNES!!!! GO BUY IT!!!

  • who the hell disliked this . . .

  • truely loosing yourself into the music is what praiseing is shes a good example of it.

  • so awesome that they (David Crowder and Flyleaf) traded songs...David Crowder's version of All Around Me is awesome as well!

  • @aerofire13 This is originally by John Mark Mcmillan

  • Pray for the 6 that disliked this song.

  • @firefreak2007 God should smite them all! Just kidding. But honestly, there are much, much better versions of this same band doing this same song recorded on real cameras already posted on YouTube, so what's not to dislike? Maybe we should pray for the 371 likers. Maybe they have vision problems.

  • This is just breath taking.

  • 2 days away.....Tuesday Dec 21st the song will be out on iTunes!!!!!!!

  • I love this :).. But HOLY CRAP WHAT WITH RTHE CAMERA?1? lol this is great

  • HOLD. THE. CAMERA. STILL.

I got a seizure trying to watch this vid because I couldn't focus on one solid thing. 0_x

  • i hate how they bring it down in the bridge!

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song will be released december 21st

  • @BrandonteenXD I put that in all caps as my facebook status! :D

  • @HoistxthexColorsxfan haha i just can't freaking wait, i had to buy their new EP on iTunes because i couldn't wait to go to the store lol

  • The song is not by Jesus Culture. The song is written and recorded originally (probably the most passionate version) by John Mark McMillan. About his friend Steven who prayed that if giving his life would cause youth to come to Christ he would do it. That night Steven died. John Mark wrote the song, listen to his version and you'll understand. Watch the IHOP version of the song where he explains everything. Now everyone is singing it, and amazing things are happening because of the love of God.

  • is this Jesus Culture's song? I know Kim Walker sings her heart out with this song.. I've listened to Kim sing this a million times.. Lacey clearly can sing anything too :)

    God ... Glory.. Music.

  • I LOVE IT!! CANT WAIT 4 RECORDED VERSION!!!!!

  • Love it!

  • @blinditachil7

Damn you and your shaky camera :L

  • I really love the fact that they give God the glory every time they perform. It just makes them even more awesome.

  • I love her cute dresses :)

  • Hard Rock Worship. oh yea!

  • This gives me the sudden urge to see Flyleaf live....

  • @sportzfreek92 I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!!!!! I want to see them so band for their epic setlist. They play HOW HE LOVES and also I'M SO SICK. Talk about a setlist

  • they should record this!!!!!

  • @ddrumsabianvicfirth i agree. it should be on their next EP

  • Wow really good quality, awesome song!

  • I got goosebumps and chills every time she went up an octave. That was a great performance.

  • um no offense but how hard is it to hold a camera straight??? nice camera resolution tho!

  • WE SHOULD ALL SEND FLYLEAF FAN LETTERS ASKING THEM TO RECORD THIS SONG!!!! I MEAN THIS IS EPICALLY AMAZING!!!!

  • @bittercoffee2 i don,t think they can cuz they didnt write this song, but i wish they could too

  • @lesliebailey1 DCB didn't write it either and they recorded it as a single. You just gotta get permission from the person who has rights to the song.

  • @YimiDoje1 i didnt know that thanks

  • It was hard to try to watch the video, but I liked her perfomance in this song...

  • they need to record this as a single...like now!

  • Lacey, definitely my role model.

    She's suuuuch an inspiration!!!!

    (:

  • Just so you guys are actually aware, they did not write this song, it was written by john mark mcmullin, he wrote it after his best friend died, and he questioned why god would do that.

  • I meant McMillin. My b.

  • this song makes me cry

  • amazing! :D i didnt think the song could have gotten any better and it just did! :D

  • FOR THE WIN!

  • He does love us, Jesus came for me, just as he did for the blind man in the middle of desert. All glory, praise, and honor to the God of the most high, King of kings.

  • Flyleaf really needs to record this as a single or something...it is awesome!!

  • God is great!

    This song made me cry!

  • OH HOW HE LOVES US AND OH HOW I LOVE THIS SONG KUDOS TO JOHN mCMILLAN 4WRITING IT AND ALL OTHERS WHO SING THIS SONG

  • Audio's really good, but you're a little shaky! Oh well, it's nice to have the music on as background music. Thanks for capturing it!

  • love flyleaf. didn't love this cover that much im sorry.

  • I luv this, I wish Flyleaf could record a cover for this song...

  • 3 people missed the like button

  • god, thank you for blessing Lacey with a beautiful voice!!!! <3

  • all the other version of this song cant even compare to flyleafs

theres are all so slow and long pauses

  • Nice version to listen to, but don't try to watch the video if you get motion sickness. Really. Buy a tripod or something.

  • every time i here them perform this i get choked up love it

  • chills. the whole time.

  • Lacey's voice is just...incredible...I have no words to describe this band. LOVE THEM! <3

  • i love this song

    good cover:)

  • Ummm, the name of the song is How he loves. Not how he loves us

  • i love this song by david crowder! gets the best of me! and Flyleaf is my favorite band!!

  • @arcoiris890

Actually, this awesome song was written by John Mark McMillan after the sudden death of a close friend. There are a couple videos on here with him explaining it and they are amazing.

  • @arcoiris890 umm....it was actually made by: John Mark McMillan. David just covered it...as well as he covered All Around me.

  • I love this band and all that they represent.

  • I just saw them perform this yesterday, I wish so bad they make this a single, or in their new album. It's so beautifully done live :)

  • OMG! OMG! OMG! My all-time favourite band playing one of my favourite songs EVER! I love you Jesus, and I love your kids Flyleaf!

  • I wish they'd record this in a studio!

    It's so awesome.<3

  • they did this in seattle on may 11th i was in the front row. i cried when they played this. This is my favorite worship song and Lacy sang it <3 <3 Oh how he loves us!!

  • Thank God for Bands that still have a message, and still rawk HARD!!! Disciple and Flyleaf are the 2 most passionate Bands that have ever spread the Love of God through RAWK MUSIC!!! I hope one day to be even compared to bands like this.

  • @schram21891 : I think you forgot The Almost and Underoath. Simple mistake

  • @goldenmage haha. I'm not a huge fan of underoath, and the Almost is great, but I feel like Disciple and Flyleaf are just in another league.

  • @schram21891 True but what about Skillet

  • @courtmm86 I like them. But after Collide it became to much like every other main stream rock band. One thing that is missing in contemporary music is the sound factor. Hearing a band and knowing without a doubt its that band. If I hear AC/DC, I know its them. If I hear Stevie Ray Vaughn, I know. If I hear Jet, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flyleaf, Disciple, Dave Matthews, I KNOW its them. There are few bands I can say that. Check out Skillet from 1996, First album. My FAVORITE by FAR from them.

  • @schram21891 Disciple is hands down the most inspiring band of the genre at this moment.... Mainly because they have stuck to their original goal which is to gain souls for Christ.... :) or maybe im just saying this cuz they're my favorite band..... I dont know i just love Disciple

  • @SeventyX777 Kevin said he had a vision on this in High School. So I really think that the band was put together by God. They formed in 1991, and the same three guys are still together. The former drummer and guitar player just help in the studio. The new line up tours, but all 3 are still incorporated. How many bands can say they have been together almost 20 years? Legendary bands...that's who...haha

  • @schram21891 I saw disciple live several times before they were signed and kept asking why arent they not more well known. Kevin preaches at everyone of their concert

  • @schram21891 skillet too!

  • @schram21891

Skillet does a great job as well! :) Can't forget about Skillet!!

  • @Placidus46112 I just got REALLY tired of the new stuff. I think the 1996 album is AMAZING. But now...they are just blah for me...still do spread the love good though.

  • @schram21891 Check out "For Today"

  • @schram21891 Rock**

  • @schram21891 Imagine if they went on tour together!

  • this song is by david crowder

  • @shannonsurreal It's actually by John Mark Mcmillan :). You should check him out. He's an amazing worship leader and song writer. Probably one of the most skilled and passionate I know. Hope you enjoy it!

  • @Atrus635 thanks for telling me : ), one day I would like a singer

I write my own matrial already but I could use help oneday. flyleaf expires me to not to be afraid to sing about jesus, and shows me that a women dosen't have to show all of her goods just to be popular. That is amazing and I want to be an example like that.

  • @shannonsurreal actually its by John Mark McMillian

  • Pat adds good harmony. I love him along with the rest of the band. Flyleaf is awesome!!!!

  • God bless FLYLEAF!!! omg wow I can't believe some people do not understand that they ARE a Christian band, putting these amazing words out there into the world for people who are just lost or need encouragement!! Let us all pray for them and their continuous walk with the LORD!

  • This was our class graduation song. :)

  • You know this band is Christian.

  • i was there

  • That bassist needs to shutup.

  • @imagayfox His harmonies add so much to it. It's fine

  • "When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory!" :)

  • this is just one more reason for them to be one of my fav bands

  • Love, love, love this song!

And I must say, I am very impressed by the sound quality of the video. Pretty good for a hand-held camera live

  • Never knew they were christians?

  • @Botje101 doesnt matter they rock :D

  • i wanna see them live so bad !!!!!! :(

  • Dear bands covering this song: quit changing the words from sloppy wet kiss to something else! KBAI

  • @Manbearpigizrealguyz im no religious dude but shit flyleaf made this song awesome...

  • I don't understand it when people say that Flyleaf is not Christian. Hello...listen to the lyrics of this song. Jesus and Flyleaf rock!! I saw them twice in one week last summer!!

  • They ended with this song when I saw them in March after they opened for Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace

  • this would be amazing to see live

  • Beautiful song..I love this song. <3

Jesus is truly amazing and He loves everyone so much...and He longs for you to love Him too.

  • I seriously couldn't agree more with what you are saying.

Jesus is our Salvation. And will love us for eternity. More people need to open their hearts and let God love them.

  • that was really pretty @ 2:38

  • I wish they'd do a worship album like seventh day slumber's

  • awesome song my favorite version is when Kim Walker from Jesus Culture sings it but this is the second best version.

  • @Barlowgirlfan7 She's got nothing on Flyleaf

  • Um the best version is the one who originally sang it. John Mark Mcmillan.
