- never disappointed their fans with a shitty album (I consider Virtual XI to be average since half the album was actually very good)

- Every band member is world rank talented in their instrumental genre

- have helped shape and influence metal

No band can claim to have all these, UP THE IRONS!

@thosava Well, Metallica is the best selling metal band...but they've got so much disappointment on their hands that they are not even close to being as good as Maiden anymore. Heck, I consider Megadeth to be a better thrash metal band now. At least their music is consistent in good quality.

To me this was probably the worst iron maiden album. There wasn't really memorably songs like in fear of the dark, piece of mind, powerslave etc. Don't get me wrong I love iron maiden but I don't have to like everything they make.

This is why i like Iron maiden. I was blown away by the album, sadly, i expected it to be shit, seeing as it was 2010 and everything now is shitty pop music that nobody remembers and its all used with auto-tune and shit. But this song, along with every other song on The Final Frontier, actually had everything that i wanted. Long, substantial, structured and complex, and something we can all remember and play again in 10 or 20 years time. This shit is rare, but Iron fucking Maiden did it
