@shenmue4life it's actually in 4/4. what autechre does a lot of the time is employ a rhythmic device called the "hemiola" rhythm. this superimposes figures clustered in groups of 3 on top of a main theme that's grouped of 4. this can also occur with many other combinations of differing beat clusters. they will also displace rhythmic figures by a single beat every time a measure comes to pass. these things give the illusion of a very complicated time signature when really it's a straight 4/4.
