Why does nature have to make furry insects? And what's worse is it's fur is venomous!

@watchensee Isn't it just the baby (the caterpillar) that's venomous? I heard ya don't want to mess with them!

@Lavenderrose73 No I think it's venomous it's whole life. That's what all that fur is for, to protect it. Shame! :(

@watchensee Yeah, for something so passive to be so dangerous. What parts of the country are they from? I'd never even HEARD of them until recently! Wonder if there's any decent chance to avoid them when they ARE around, like maybe they avoid US for the most part?

@Lavenderrose73 @watchensee Just to be clear, these guys are poisonous not venomous, as they don't bite. Ya'll had me panicked for a second until I looked into it. lol

@PenyaG Oh I thought they meant the same thing. Guess venomous means poisoning us voluntarily some way (usually biting) and poisoning us just means we screw with it we get some bad stuff on us. Are they not found in California at all? How about Colorado? That's where I'd like to settle down one day. I'd never before seen them in my life until this year on YouTube and that's because I was watching stuff about butterflies due to my ones I have at home.
