When Steve & Eydie's record company took their record around trying to get it air play they would play it for station programer's and would get good responses. When the rep would tell them the singers were Steve & Eydie the response was we can't play the record their not on our play list. Eventually the record labels were redone and the singers were listed as Pat and Penny. Then suddenly the record was given air play by programers who thought they were discovering a new group.

@CarlDuke i didnt know that parker and penny are steve and edie? my grandmother got me the 45 of parker and penny because she liked steve and edies' version. they must have re-recorded it because the version i have on the 45 doesnt sound like the one thats posted on here. the must have made more "pop" sounding then their version. thanks for letting me know that.
