Dont get me wrong, the slash was awesome. I just wanted 4x4 and a more stable platform. Its still great and everything but this new one is much better.

thats cool but i have had just about all traxxas nitro models and worked on them the eletric traxxas is a good model but gas to weak but hpi-ofna-hot bodies for gas is the best for hard core basin but that my opinion

Then you may be living under a rock (No offense intended). I have never had a problem with Traxxas's more recent nitro models. Now I know that the TRX 2.5 is a lemon, but the one in my Jato is still running strong. The thing is, the TRX 3.3 doesn't have the fault that the old 2.5 did, and it's the engine of choice for most of traxxas's vehicles. The only cars that don't have the 3.3 have the 2.5R or the Pro 15.

Even then, I'm more of a Losi guy my self.
