  • I like how you're a video that answer questions can you please answer mine? I have relaxed mt hair millions of time but I want to go natural. Any tips? Is it even possible since I relaxed it? I'm only 13 and my hair is like up to my ears. I think it would look better natural. Any details? Please help!

  • @cute2chic Hi, I'm glad to know that you have an interest in going natural! It is possible to transition from a relaxer to natural hair but since it can be challenging, you will need the support of your parents or guardian and someone who can encourage you. I suggest that you continue to follow others on their natural hair journey. Check out the video by Nikkimae2003 called, Natural hair Lessons Learned Part 1, she talks about doing your research before you go natural. Hope this helps! Thanks!

  • Uh oh stand back yall she killed it @ 7:35 !!!!!!

  • I'm new to this transitioning thing....could you tell me where I could purchase organic coconut oil, and does it smell good?

  • @naunii77 I purchased the organic coconut oil at "Whole Foods" in the section of the store that sells cooking oils. If you do not have a Whole Foods store, you might find it at a store that sells natural foods and products. As for the smell, it has a light natural coconut scent. : )

  • Just a tip from me the non professional....I've gone from perm to natural quite a few times. Daily moisturizing and a bit of olive oil works wonders. I just buy the moisturizer that we'd use if we had a curl at least twice a day and i stay away from hair oil as it seems to break my hair off when I'm transitioning. I also only use a wide tooth comb. No brushing at all. And i wash my hair only when necessary so that the natural essential oils have a chance to strengthen my hair.

  • Too funny. I love that CD.

  • A Good idea to get those edges straighter with natural hair is to take a regular tooth brush (not the one that you personally brush with) and apply styling gel on the brush and brush the edges the way you want it and then put a silk scarf on. I Guarantee straight edges!

  • wait, i don't understand why you braided it if you just pulleed your hair back?

  • you are very pretty. gorgeous skin and good luck with your hair.

  • ............

  • u r so cool! God bless

  • tHANKS, FINALLY SOMEONE WITH HAIR LIKE MINE...PART RELAXED AND PART NATURAL...TRANSITIONING...THANKS, AGAIN

  • where did you get the extra virgin coconut oil, iv'e been wanting it for so long and i haven't found it anywhere :)

  • I bought it at Whole Foods, a store that sells organic products.

  • I decided to transition 2 months ago. I was almost about to change my mind. Then I saw your encouraging video. Your transition style looks like it will work for me cause that's how I wear my hair now. pulled back into a bun. Thanks.

  • Hello! I agree with the other ladies that commented, you seem to have a very warm and friendly personality. Your style looks good. I too am transitioning and have no plans to Big Chop any time soon. But take a minute and check out my transitioning styles. They are easy, fast, and require little to no gel. Loved your video!

  • Work it girl!!!! Praise his name, Jesus Christ!

  • Yesssss!!!!

  • You have a beautiful voice. Don't try to hide it!:) I think u can eliminate some steps with ur styling. U could probably not braid it at nite, spray it with a little water in the morning and add the gel, brush the edges and u don't even have to tie it down. A water bottle is wonderful. Remember how we used grease and water back in the day to lay those edges down? Good luck and I think ur beautiful!

  • Thanks nappturalbeaty123, I tried to eliminate some steps but my 4b/c new growth does not lay down easily. Moisturizing & braiding at nite keeps my hair organized & new growth stretched out, the tie down in the morning lays my sides & back down & reduces the poofiness, However, I do get more waves when I use a little mist of water on the new growth with the Fantasia Gel. : )

  • I love your spirit! It's so fun.

  • juliana said nobody wants to see your scalp! ( not endorced by Briana)

  • Aww, I like you too. You seem like such a warm person.

I am about 5/6 months into my transition, and was not in a hurry to cut off the straight ends either because I always wear my hair in a ponytail. I am planning to do my bc at my 1 year mark, but time will tell.

    Thanks for the video.

  • thank for sharing, you were jamming to Gred, lol great vid!

  • She's adorable. :] Even though im a teenager saying this. She has the same personality as my grandma.

  • I like you too! You have a great spirit! I was smiling during your entire video! Your hair is looking good! Good Luck ;)

  • I like you! Love the music. Hair looks good.

  • your new growth is looking good
