Radio codes for stock radio's is just plan stupid. Sure someone could steal it but the reality is the radio is worthless to most kids and theives meaning its a low end item. My advice replace that stock code thrower with a nice unit worth looking at that sounds better. That is my two cents on stock radio codes.
I went to Stockton 12 Honda in Sandy, UT and the guy tried to tell me he need to pull my radio out and charge me $100. He could have just done this little trick in 5 seconds!!! Ever since the recession started, I've had a bad experience with them trying to gouge. Too bad... they were so good for years.
@NorCalWrestler the problem is if you inter a wrong radio code a couple of times the radio will lock it's self thinking it's stolen.. To fix it your gonna have to reset the radio by disconnecting the negative battery cable for at least 2 mins then try it again it should work..
I have the "anti theft Radio" ID Card with the code and serial number on it, the problem is I enter what it says and nothing happens, it still says CODE, it doesnt beep, or even go into ERROR, it just stays on CODE, dont know what to do about this situation

I recommend to try a different dealer. You will find a nice one eventually. Good luck! Matt

The code usually comes on a little credit-card size plastic card. Since I did not buy my car new, the card was lost somewhere along the way.

And, as in my case, the dealer will not give the code over the phone. It's a 'security issue." Right.

Is any money involved in doing this?
And I believe that I have maybe entered too many codes.
Before, I would attempt to enter a code, and it would beep when I entered 5 numbers.
Now it does not beep when I attempt 5 digits.
What does this mean?
