Dave's faith isn't a "score" for the credibility of his religion, the same way that a lyricist of a satanic death metal band isn't. Dave is a human. Some humans are Christians, others aren't. His success as a guitarist and vocalist does not translate to religious authority. For the record, I'm atheist, and a huge Megadeth fan.

I mean, if its NOT TRUE, what reason could they POSSIBLY have for believing this? Oh thats right, Jesus saved their lives and changed it.. And it would make sense to promise peace to people who love him and are in struggles but why should he have peace for people insulting him, cursing his name, and calling him a lie, even after his death?

It is quite clear that Dave Mustaine understands every aspect of recording/studio engineering. Not only that, he understands and respects the technical side of his gear and actively is involved with its development. Some big musicians, not naming anyone specific, just want an 89 Les Paul and the biggest amp they can get and don't care about how to adjust it to create their own sound. I have huge respect for Mustaine.
