Scott Thomson! Haha! Always love your reviews,once again thanks for taking the time to do these. By the way,and I'm sure someone already pointed this out, I think the portrait Vigo comes with is lenticular, but could be wrong.

I think the head sculpt is okay. It's not spot on, but it's close enough for me. What kept me from picking it up was the gray hair. Hated the hair color ever since it was shown at toyfair (or was it SDCC?). Not to mention that if we have a Vigo, then we need a Janos!...and I don't think Matty has any plans for a Janos.

@shifty0212 people keep saying the line isn't dead...just the subscription. So i suppose anything is possible with getting a Janos figure...but i seriously doubt it.

This figure could have been so much better than what it turned out, the picture is a total let down, atleast if anything could we not have gotten a framed picture, something with a plastic outer frame so its not just a cardboard insert? and yes you're right an alternate head should have been in there, or hey how about even just alittle Oscar that he could have held would have been a nice fan service, they didn't do this one justice at all

I posted a transformer review on the 20th, then again on the 12th, then again on the 10th, then again on the 9th, then again on the 8th, then again on the 2nd. Perhaps you should pay more attention or at least look up your facts before you make statements and ask things that are very obviously answered.

i agree with your review they could have done alot better with the headsculpt, but at least they released a vigo, because now i will be albe to do a stop motion in the future, also i will be customizing the head to look more accurate and so that i will j=have a better reprensentation of him, overall great review and cant wait to pick it up and customize it :D

I'm just confused as to why Zuul and Vinz (Gatekeeper and Keymaster) from GB1 are on the packaging for a figure from GB2.

Zuul and Vinz had nothing to do with Vigo, nor did Gozer or Ivo Shandor for that matter.

Wow I gave to say the head sucks big time it looks nothing like wilhelm von homburg and more like Ricardo Montalbán who plays Khan in star trek 2 the body is good but your right it is missing accessories that it could have had and it's bloody expensive for a non accurate figure

For the price Matty collector is asking (it sickens me to refer to "Matty" as if he was an actual person) it's kind of a piss take when they go to the effort of including that lenticular picture yet can't do a half decent paint app on the hair.

i feel like in today's day and age of how detailed figures can be, there really is no reason for inaccuracies. back in the days of 1970's star wars figures it was ok i guess to give a wrong colored light saber, but that's because toys were made in countries that had no idea what they were actually producing. matty could learn a thing or two from companies like hot toys.

@avcoccaro absolutely. When you consider what NECA is able to do for mass release figures...mattycollector should be able to do the same for a smaller production, adult collectible line such as this

Althought figure itself is lacking its still nice that mattycollectors gave us totaly new figure instead of just repaint. Now only if they did also release Goser in form that she had when Ghostbusters first saw her.

I'm not big on Ghostbusters, but to completely botch arguably the most important feature of the figure is just stupid.

If they had change his facial expression a bit, lowered his eyebrows kind of, it probably would have at least looked a bit more like the actor.

@optibotimus Now that you mention it, it does look really off. Looking back at the comparison with the actor you have in there, it stands out pretty well, same with the nose. Its definitely a shame.

Also, I haven't watched the movie in awhile, but when hes coming out of the painting, is his outfit brown? Or does it share the yellowish colouration from the painting?

@Shadowjugement it's coming across more yellowish in the painting. The outfit isn't too bad..maybe a tad darker then it should be..but not too horrible. But it should be a lighter tone, yea
