  • You've done a very good job with his tattoos and his hair (what did you say he was called, Jamal?). He's a very good, well sculptured doll.

Why do male dolls have normal-sized eyes, whereas female fashion-dolls have great big eyes, too long hair and often over-sized heads? It limits my choice immensely

  • your shirt is WIN.

  • LOL I love how Arachnid have a mood of her won. Be carfeful and don't touch her hair anymore :)

  • A good place for Shoes for your Iple Male is Soul doll, Zenith size. Cause My boy has huge feets as well, I think they're only a tad smaller and the shoes are made bigger. The only problem with Soul Doll is getting something in stock!

And of course, your Dolls are beautiful.

  • @Alonetogether13 Thank you so much sweetie!! :) Thank you so much for the suggestion! I'll definately look into that!! :)

  • Nice detail! on the tattoos!

  • As some people already said, you don't look like a doll owner! XD

  • "I did her face up which is ok, not perfect but it's not bad".

I REALLY like her face up, I love it! The eyes are sóoo beautiful! Just like, not too much, not too less. As soon as I have my practising head, acryllics and pastels delivered, I'll try that, I love it! :D

you do awesome job for the make up!

  • were did you get your dolls from? and how did you get a black one?

  • @ChunLi3 well, the black one is released from Iplehouse. No longer available though...but the company releases african dolls at different intervals.

  • You mentioned shoes being hard to find for the larger doll, but they're really easy to MAKE! Use his foot as a last, and drape the vamp with tape over plastic wrap you secure to the foot. Mark your style lines with a sharpie, and you have a pattern! Assembly is done in reverse: secure the sock lining to the sole (temporarily with tape), pull the upper over the foot and secure it by stitching across the sock-lining, glue to secure, then glue on the soling! Leather can be faked with cloth &

  • How moveable/poseable is your Iplehouse doll? I really love Iplehouse molds...but their joints seem really stiff to me. Could you make a video on how poseable he is?

  • @gerzaa9 it's kinda hard to do that, because i don't have alot of time....but if you hot glue suede them, and learn their joint system, they really are VERY posable. :)

  • You have 2 Awesome Na-nu-ri! I love their face up!

  • @akimmyakimmy i just recently decided to sell Atlantea. However, i still have, and will never sell my Na-nu-ri 06. Thank you!

  • @akimmyakimmy THank you very much :)

  • Hoshit that velcro hair looks awesome. And it's cool to hear he doesn't green easy, that's the reason I'm so reluctant to get a tan doll.

  • @GuacamoleKun Iplehouse learned their lesson quick with the real-skin dolls...now all their dolls that are tanned have UV protection mixed in with the actual resin. I've taken my boy out constantly, and had no problems!

  • Hello fellow DoAer. Nice work on your crew. Do you plan on a few more?

  • @2otaku many many many more :)

  • very nice dolls!!

  • I love your EID Kamau. The EIDs are amazing, I recently got an EID Akando and I just adore him. He's definitely one of my more favorite dolls.

  • @FrauYaU yeah, Joby moved to the top of the favorites list LOL

  • Your Kamau is GORGUSH <3333

I saw your pics of him on DoA with cornrows, how did you do that?

  • @darkmattersunshine I braided ropes of hair that i bought and then melted the beginning end, and rubber banded the end of the braid. Then i made a headband and then put the band on my dolls head. Then i put the ropes in place, on the doll's head, and pinned the front of the braid, and then the back of the braid, to the band, right at the edge. After i had them all pinned i stitched around the edge, sewing the hair in place with my sewing machine. Then it comes on and off like a wig :)

  • @darkmattersunshine I made a headband of fabric, then put it on his head. THen i braided thin ropes of fake hair, and placed them where i wanted them and gently pinned them through the fabric. then after that, i ran it through a sewing machine :)

  • @comicbookartistboi i make sculptures that sise sometimes, but those dolls are cool they gotta be expensive.i want to see more of them.

  • Wow, the velcro hair was so inventive! That amazed me. Lol And I love his tattoos. :D

  • @LinktheHylianHero Thank you! I just could not see owning this mold, in this skin tone, and then turn around and put him in a long flowy wig LOL he'd look like the african-american fabio.

  • @comicbookartistboi Haha, that is true. xD I really like how he turned out.

  • @LinktheHylianHero well thank you

  • first and foremost- i think it is unbelievably sexy that your into ball jointed dolls XDDD

  • if you dnt mind me asking, how much was your Kamau after shipping and everything. I know price differ depending on where the doll is being shipped too, but i am still curious. And i love iplehouse! There molds are just beautiful! :)

  • @orlisgirlzyx92887 i forget now, but i think i paid about 800 for him after shipping....i didn't order any face-up or clothing or anything extra.

  • i love your characters.

    Love them.

And your shirt is rad, haha.

  • @GrimGrinningLily Thank you! I put alot of work and thought into my characters, and so when people do love them, or give praise to me for them, it means alot!

  • wow. this is the first time I have EVER loved an iplehouse doll. he is fabulous. and you did a great job on his velcro hair.

  • @hostlovelace Thanks! The EID boys gained my attentionwith Akando. But then i heard that after Luo, and Ivan, the next would be Kamau, or "the black man" as Iplehouse called him. (How politically incorrect could they be?) And when i saw him, i fell absolutely IN LOVE with him! I had to have him, and i don't regret the purchase for a single second! he's one of my favorite dolls.
