  • That's the way! I'm looking for Trangia cooking ideas before I get one and this is excellent. Wicked. "the size of a cricket ball" - too good.

  • cracking vid mate i regulary do these with my kids and they love them

  • Mozzarella cheese keeps OK in temperate climates for about 4 days.

Removing the cheese from its plastic wrapper and wrapping it in aluminum foil will stop the cheese from sweating and increase its shelf life.

  • THIS I have got to have a go at, thanks

  • Bifi caraza, quicler, nicer, easier.

  • Everybody knows water bottles are a must, but you mean to say you carry a kneading board, a spatula, stainless steel bowls, and a kitchen knife in your rucksack too???

Not to mention the flour, the oil and the veggies.

Then, eat the "pocket" in two bites and spend the next hour washing dishes.

What kind if dishsoap do you use?

Would you recommend Palmolive LemonFresh which is gentle on your hands?

    .

  • Just gave this a try and it was well tasty! I think I might need to practice a bit with the wrapping up part - one side was quite doughy, while the other was about to burst open! Managed all the cooking and boiled two batches of water for a brew and washing up on less than a burner full of meths. Thanks for the video!

  • First rate! I'll give this recipe a whirl in my Trangia on my next trip to the desert. Thanks!

  • Mate your a genius - first thing to try on my trangia! Just shows us campers dont have to live on pasta etc :) One question.. is mozarella suitable for camping? I know some hard cheeses dont need a fridge..? thanks

  • Yummy, would be better to get the amounts right, like the exact mount of flour and water, like to zip lock the flour needed, kind of a waste of flour, though still looks very yummy. Will add this to my Testing cooking list :)

    Thanks.

Thinner sheel would make it cook quicker, I am an Ultra light camper, I use Spirt fuel, don't want it to run out :(

  • the camera man is breathing really heavy

  • @dansickle324

    It's a SHE.

She's cursing under her breath because she'got to do the cleanup.

  • That is some tasty looking vittles....well done.

  • Great video. I'll have to try that with my Trangia. Looks wonderful.

  • I have to suscribe for this one. everyone seems to think its for backpacking only when really the trangia has many many uses what happens when your out camping from a vehicle or traveling n have fresh foods and or some types of meats in a cooler. And prefer the simple quiet trangia over a gas burner. this is the only guy on youtube actually gives a taste of what this thing is capable of. Thank u sir. To everyone else open your minds n get your head out of your asses rice gets boreing

  • About time someone does something besides boiling water or rice. Keep them coming. Yeah there light weight n all that but there more than capable than boring backpacking food. keep them comeing

  • Not exactly a backpacking setup, weird recipe too. But it worked, and even looked good. Congrats.
