i wonder how many of men gays can truly stay faithful for lifetime. are you gays sure you want the marriage so bad? for real? or just out of fashion and fuss? marriage is a real commitment and monogamy. {if you observe gay people, lots of them are very promiscous}.

Straight people can't keep a marriage together any better than gays may be able to. And saying that most gay people are very promiscuous just shows how little you know about us. Gays aren't anymore promiscuous than straights.

ok, i agree that marriage can be difficult institution for all humans regardless their sexual orientation...yes. i guess maybe it is an issue of MEN {straight or gay} to stay in monogamy for long period of time. women can cheat as well, of course, but i think men always cheat more....

I believe marriage is about love, not gender. If it's not a huge deal for an Asian to marry a Mexican, or a white to marry a black... Then it shouldn't be a big deal for a man to marry a man and a woman to marry a woman.

I think it's Congress that has the legislative power man. And Congress can be petitioned. The Human Rights Campaign started Million for Marriage so they probably did their homework before starting this petition.

He is making a positive difference because he is sending a message of hope to many marginalized people. This may not settle very well with alot of people, especially with those who oppose what he is doing. But I have to give him credit for at least trying. Gay people don't pick to be gay. They just are gay, just like you're straight. They can't control it or stop it, and they don't deserve to be punished and insulted for it. I don't think God would have created gay people if he still thought it was wrong, and how are we supposed to know he ever did? The Bible was written by men. I don't believe that God is that judgemental and horrible. I want my best friend to be able to marry his boyfriend. Why do you care? It's not effecting you.
