Wow that was an awesome video. I fully understand the feelings of self loathing that come with the extra poundage, but you are a BEAUTIFUL lady right now. The surgery will make you a healthier version of you,but you truly are gorgeous right now!
Oh PS. Are you planning your wedding cause uhm like I'm totally not gunna yet. Everyone's all like RAR YOU HAVE TO PICK YOUR VENUE and I'm all like I HAVE TO LOSE A MILLION POUNDS so yeah...
LMAO I'm SO not planning! We haven't set a date or anything. And I'm the same way..I have to lose a million pounds too! I told someone we hadn't set a date and she was like, "why?!?" and I said, "well, I still have a lot of weight to lose and..." she cut me off and was like, "THAT'S WHY you haven't set a date!?!? That's stupid" and....I basically wanted to punch her.
I love how everyone thinks that they can give advice when you tell them that you are engaged. Uhm and HELLO, I don't want to have my wedding until I am going to be skinnier because why go through this process and have a wedding and only be half way done?? I donno, I'm vain I guess. I wanna wear a kick ass dress and all that. So yeah, I woulda punched her too...although you don't have TOO long to go. Look at you!! wee!
I really wish I had more photos of the real me, but like many others in my situation, I was always the one holding it. Oh I have plenty of photos of myself with those deceiving angles like you mentioned in the beginning. I was terrified about making videos thinking "OMG who will see this??" But now It's almost like a relief, I'm finally coming to terms with who I am & I think that's so important to know before we begin this journey.
Yeah, I think I became the photographer so that I didn't have to be behind the camera but unfortunately, being the loud and crazy one, the cameras are drawn to me. That sounded vain. I assure you it's not!
I was nervous too making my first video, especially since I have seen major flaming on some of these blogs. Like people calling weight loss surgery survivors "fatty" and stuff and I was like OMG PUNCH KICK BITE. I don't know if I'm ready for that!
